Shocking that someone hasn't heard of him. He was one of the biggest global superstars of the century. At least you've stumbled upon his music now.

    •  Před 2 lety +10

Yeah.. sometimes that amazes me. It would be like for me in my 20ties not knowing what the hell the Steevie Wonder or Elvis Prestley is.
Probably it is also because fewer people are hearing the radio, TV...chooses whatever form today's production released...some tunes from advertising. And funy is when people are hearing and saying that they heard it somewhere, did not knowing it was GM. Like Last Christmas or Carless whispers or Freedom 90.

Growing up in the UK, it’s difficult to imagine someone say they hadn’t heard of George Michael. The man had so much talent. Writer, composer and producer with an angelic voice. Behind the scenes, a generous gentleman makes his untimely death seem such a waste. Luckily through technology his gifts live on.

George as a teenager with his best buddy in school had a group called Wham! you know Last Christmas, Careless Whisper etc….Those were his hits among others. He was only 17 when the group was started. Massively successful and then he went on to a solo career. In all George sold over 115, million records in his lifetime. He holds many musical records still today. He’s the first white artist to have won R&B record of the year and song of the year. Those are just a few things to know about him but there is so much more. You will not be sorry if you really delve into his music and find out about this once in a lifetime artist. On top of being multi talented he was also generous beyond belief. He gave millions and millions of his dollars to charities and causes that he believed in.

George Michael has a 30 year back catalogue, he'd been around since the 1980s. He started in a pop band called Wham and they were one of the biggest around at the time, the band broke up in 1986 and George went solo. He was one of biggest artists around, up there with Michael Jackson and Madonna. In my humble opinion George's solo music is much better than than his stuff from Wham. You could listen to, Different Corner, One More Try, Jesus to a Child, Praying for Time. He's done duets with Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Beyonce, Queen. He's dearly missed.

Hi, Hope your having a great day. Well, You liked that? You haven't heard anything yet. You only have 30+ years to catch up on. There's so much I could tell you, but you need to hear from George Michael himself. You'll never hear another artist that can even come close. POP, R&B, Jazz, a little swing. George wrote, sang, arranged, produced, & poured his heart out into his whole career. If you decide to go further into George's music, My suggestion would be I'M YOUR MAN @ EARLS COURT 2008. George started with WHAM! Great start, great music right from the start. You'll get a lot of great suggestions, I hope you check them all out. ENJOY!

So glad you found George Michael....He has a big catalog of music and mostly his own, he wrote and produced and arranged most all of his own work...he wrote the iconic Careless Whisper at the age of 17 years old when he was in the group Wham! Every song that George sings he puts so much emotion into the, he has a wide verity of music , there is honestly not a bad song from him ...just dive into his music and you will be like the other countless millions who love his music... but the wonderful part to him is the fact that beyond the music , he was a very giving soul, he gave millions and millions to charities and families , mostly anonymously , it was only after his death did this come to light . I can't wait for your next reaction video to him !!!

I am a huge George Michael fan as you can guess from my profile pic. George was a such a talented artist, songwriter, producer, philanthropist raising money for various charities. You could listen to his solo stuff like Father Figure - Live from the Concert of Hope, One More Try, Jesus to A Child, A Different Corner - Live from BBC Parkinson's Show or George's Symphonia Tour and duets with the likes of Whitney Houston (If I Told You That), Mary J Blige (As) and Elton John (Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me). George's rendition of Queen's Somebody To Love at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert is just awesome!

Those living under a stone are the ones who haven't heard of George Michael and I agree with those who say he sang this song the best.

'Never heard of him............' Have you heard of ANYONE else who took on 'Phony' for an artist to be freed from contract, or who was asked to sing Freddy Mercury's part in Queen's memorial concert or anyone else who gave so much to charity?

Great Reaction! Subscribed! Fave live performance of all time. George Michael MTV Unplugged. Check out his performances of Freedom90 and Fast Love. Better than the studio versions. His band and background singers are awesome!

I think it was Bono who after Miss Sarajevo said he would never give George another song to cover cause he takes it and makes it so much better than the original!

It's breaking my heart knowing that after his lover passed away of HIV and he went more recluse and then took his own life years later thinking no one in the world loved him. Hearing this is actually super emotional to me. He had TONS OF HIS OWN MUSIC though. He's incredible live and a brilliant song writer.
