Vintage Technics SL-1200MK2 turntables refurbished and restored

Thought I'd share with y'all a project I recently finished. I decided to restore and refurbish my old school Technics SL-1200MK2 turntables that I've had since 1990 when I was 16yrs old.
When I first got into Hip-Hop, I was an aspiring DJ. I used these to make mixtapes for high school girlfriends. They've seen a ton of house and hall parties. They survived a house fire. I used them in almost all of the first songs I ever made. They were in the trunk of my car when I was homeless. They've literally been through hell with me! A homeless dopehead broke into my studio last year, packed them up, carried them to the exit door and almost got away with them, but he ended up leaving them and walking away because he ran into the security. What are the chances?! They have a lot of sentimental value to me, and I would've been devastated if they had been stolen.
Anywho...I spray painted them black back in 1992. They got pretty beat up over the years and looked awful. So, I decided to fix them up, do some upgrades, and give them a new look. I call them Purple Haze! I think Jimi and Prince would approve.💜💜🟪🟪
