I do want to mention that I wrote this before Shidou scored and so some of it is a bit outdated. Like Kunigami won't score the first goal for BM like the egoist 4 theory but I still think he will score the first goal for BM. Also in retrospect it's probably more likely to be Shidou -> Kunigami -> Rin -> Isagi -> Isagi than Shidou -> Rin -> Kunigami -> Isagi -> Isagi. But I still think Kaiser will not score at all this match. Let me know who you think scores.
I actually had a dream like 6 months ago or so, of Isagi awakening and scoring the final goal by himself. It was a rather hype dream, where Isagi was on the ground and his puzzle pieces are cracking and he alongside his Puzzle PIeces start to fade as the perspective would switch to everyone else and right as Rin would score the last goal in his Destroyer Flow State, a wild Isagi would steal the ball with a sliding tackle, shocking everyone since he appeared out of nowhere.
Isagi then storming the field, looking as if he was possessed (but unlike Rin, he seemed emotionless) where he would move as though he knew what everything would happen without having to look and he would do short touches as a weird forming of dribbling that relied on Isagi orbiting around the ball in an "off the ball" type of way, while altering the ball's course with godlike timing and nutmegging people in the process. It ended with Isagi scoring on Rin, with Rin's only mistake being that he freed up sufficient space by moving his head to face Isagi. In doing so the ball was already shot as if, yet again, Isagi knew Rin would do that in advance. (I have been basing some of my theories on it ever since. Those who've seen and remember my comments on other CZcams videos... those people will know 😅) [Also, the reason I am talking about it, it's because I have had some dreams in the past that turned out to be true, so who knows?]
Bro might have future sight this is actually an amazing theory seeing as one of his strongest weapons are his off the ball movements as we seen when he was training with yukimiya and hid behind him with the white ego eyes
Sounds cool, my only concern with that would be the goal could be beyond his skill level like Ego's discussion in chapter 196 (like Ego's issue with Yuki and Nagi). He will likely stop Rin multiple times like Barou and will have a stellar performance worthy of rank 1 but scoring by himself is unlikely especially since in chapter 253 we see Hiori emphasising coordination between players which is why I believe it will be Ness assisting Isagi.

I feel like isagis final piece to his original ego is an elite dribbling skill, in the light novel it said he was able to dribble through anyone and score at will. He can't play off the ball in this match like he usually does because Rin will sniff that out and destroy it. It will FORCE him to have to dribble and that's when he will unlock his original ego.
His dribbling is currently weak and I would love for him to improve it but the light novel overrated his dribbling ability. Like he was good at dribbling against trash but if you look back in chapter 1 he still relied on looking at the ball to dribble. That being said I would love for him to show more dribbling and ball handling feats in 1v1's like in the Manshine match.
Nah, I don't think Isagi is that close to his polished state. At the very least, he needs to learn how to use metavision to predict crosses, and if I had to guess, he's also got to learn that "have a plan B" lesson Snuffy taught Barou. Then, there's a pretty good chance that a piece exists which would allow him to either devour or cross with Kaiser (it's been hinted at that the way for BM to improve past PXG is for Isagi and Kaiser to find a way to work together), and none of the previously mentioned pieces fit that bill.
I do think BM will win. But all I just need is Nanase assisting Rin and making the top 23 so he makes it 🙏 Kiyora got a volume cover so he does something. As long as Nanase gets one
Yeh, Kiyora volume cover was unexpected this early. But PXG vs BM will probably be 4 volumes more like the other matches so I think there's a good chance for Nanase, Igaguri, Zantetsu and Charles all to get volume covers. Praying for Nanase though

I agree with you that Isagi has a high chance of scoring twice this match, with Kaiser not scoring at all, but my main problem with that theory is that it would completely ruin Kaiser's role as an antagonist in the story and no reader would ever be intimidated by his presence again. I mean, this dude just lost to Isagi in some way or another 3 times in a row. Am I supposed to care if Japan runs into Germany in the U-20 WC or the actual WC when that would just be Kaiser losing to Isagi for the 4th/5th time in a row? Like you said, maybe that was always supposed to be Kaiser's role, fulfill the naked emperor prophecy and serve as a stepping stone for Isagi to become the best striker ever, but to me, Kaiser is one of the coolest and most interesting characters in the entire story and having him lose so badly all hype for him disappears forever would be a waste of such a cool character. Maybe Kaneshiro can write Kaiser losing completely here in a way that doesn't ruin him as a villain, but I just don't see how that's possible.
It depends on his presence in the match, like Isagi couldn't score in the Manshine match but you could acknowledge his skill. The thing with Kaiser is that his goal last match is still single handily the best goal in the series, an upside down bicycle kick into a nutmeg is something Isagi could never do. He will always have the presence of great talent even if he doesn't score in this match. As for the U20 match in the world cup, Kaiser will probably not be the main antagonist again. He may be a quarters opponent or something but Germany's team won't necessarily be BM, it could be a hybrid of Berserk Dortmund the other German team for instance. A team forming around Kaiser not some dysfunctional team like the current BM will do Kaiser justice. Even if Kaiser loses a 4th time in a row that will be fine, don't forget every other rival from Isagi has the same fate like look at Barou. Isagi just beats him every time they play, same as Nagi.
@akiraendoji I feel like Barou, Nagi and even Niko started off as Isagi's rivals, but they ended up on a one-sided rivalry by the end of the first selection (Isagi doesn't really think much of them until they have a match against each other). On the other hand, Kaiser and Rin have a two-sided rivalry with him and are constantly in his head. If Kaiser is fully defeated, even though he would fulfill his role as this arc's main antagonist, that would dimish his impact as the ace of his team, his future appearances and the new Gen 11 as a whole. Look at Don Lorenzo or Sae, that despite losing, their performance has been top notch during the entire match. But on Kaiser's side, he didn't have a chance to shine much on the Manshine or Ubers match (besides his goals). He NEEDS to score if they still want the New Gen 11 to mean something (plus his new weapon). What I do see is maybe Isagi stealing Ness from him and finally breaking him mentally, which could lead to: making him go rogue (like Rin in U-20 or Yuki against Manshine) and stealing the ball directly from his teammates leading him to solo the defense and score the last goal (which would show his level compared to the others that tried before), comply with Isagi and become a team making super goal (like with Barou) or get a final unexpected pass from Isagi leading to a last super goal (like with Yuki). In all 3 scenarios he lost his crown as the emperor of the team because he would've lost Ness' loyalty (which he would now just realize how valuable it was), but still showed his prowess as an amazing striker. This could lead to the team still acknowledging his amazing talent, but remarking that he's no longer the only option to score. This would definitely humble him, and let to further development for the future WC arc. Of course, this is all my speculation as a big fan of both Isagi and Kaiser (I like him a bit more, tho). I'm still super hyped and I wanna see both of my boys bring the best of them :D

Funnily enough, what Ego demands from Kunigami seems to be compatible with Kunigami wanting to be a hero. all that's left is for Kunigami to realize it, realize what being a hero actually mean..

Alright, hear me out - let me cook up some scenarios! For the first goal, picture this: Isagi nearly nailing the shot, but Rin blocks his route (satisfying his hunger to witness the moment he destroys Isagi), forcing Isagi to pass to Yukimiya, Hiori, Kurona, or Kiyora, and bam! Kaiser poaches it, just like Kunigami did in the Manshine Match. Now, for goal number two, let's switch it up - Kunigami stepping up, getting the assist from Hiori, Isagi, or even a penalty shot from Igaguri. This only happens after Kunigami defies both Noa and Ego, awakening his ego and showing some serious new ego he finds. And for the grand finale, envision Isagi doing his thing, backed up by Kiyora and Yukimiya, or throwing us a curveball with a super assist from Ness. How's that for a prediction, if it's come true in future do tell me
Watching this video after the Isagi scoring the first goal makes me believe Isagi will score 2 and Kunigami will score 1. Like you mentioned in the video, Kunigami's arc will be underwhelming if he doesn't score considering he's pretty much a Noa clone that needs to develop. Maybe you can make the case that assists and preventing Shidou from scoring any more goals might be enough to complete his arc but it feels weak imo. I can still see Kaiser scoring 1 goal but if he does, it wouldn't make sense narratively if he scores the last goal so it has to be the second goal by default. If he does score, then are we really expecting anyone else other than Isagi to score? The foreshadowing really shows that he wants to be #1 by the end of this arc so it just makes sense. As for the other prospects, it'll just take away from the storyline from Isagi, Kaiser, or Kunigami from this arc. At best, I see Kiyora scoring just for the sake of finally showing off what he's capable of but I highly doubt Kaneshiro will go that direction. I'm expecting assists and dribbling tech from Kiyora atp. Definitely don't see Yuki scoring; his arc is already done imo. As for the masters, I don't think they're gonna join this one at all. If they do, for sure no team is scoring. During those 3 minutes, they're probably gonna throw a bone to Igagoat and Teppei just so they're offered a contract. I think Kaneshiro will end Igaguri's arc with a send off since he doesn't care about being the best so he doesn't need to make the roster and Teppei will get an offer to some club so he gets a happy ending.
Should mention, the video is a bit out dated. I predicted Kuni + Isagi + Isagi, as the goal scorers which turned out to be wrong. Kuni ended up assisting and Kaiser was the one to score. That being said if anyone wants a quick update then im saying Charles + Rin for the next goal and final goal Isagi + Ness
Same, by far the most excited I've been for a match since the U20 game! So many important plots and characters from both side, will definitely be a top 2 match by the end of it.
I remember watching a video a while back. That goes in depth in the potential theory that the NEL is rigged and is favoring anyone who had a good performance in the U20. Barou, Isagi, Nagi, etc. With that being said, I feel that this game is going to have a couple ass pulls to somehow make Isagi the top player in the NEL. Shout out to Chigiri.
Personally the NEL isn't really rigged for players; the players in the U20 game perform well in the NEL because they've always been better than the others on the team. Some players definitely picked the wrong team to join however it's like Bachira said, it doesn't matter the team it's just whatever you make out of it. There will definitely be ass pulls, like just look at Rin's foul last chapter and Igaguri with his future Malicia. At least with Isagi he had a monster performance in the past 2 games, so I think him reaching rank 1 is definitely feasible. Yeh, gotta shout out Chigiri. Seems like the only guy trying on Manshine. Hoping he scores again against Barcha (hoping both Chigiri and Kuni score 1 and reach 100mil)
I feel the goals would be pxg (shidou) then BM (Kunigami), BM (Isagi) then PxG (Rin) lastly BM (Kaiser) My reason kunigami for the wild card/redemption, Isagi riding the moral would get the third point of the match but Rin peeved so he makes it even still making him better than Isagi for the u20 cup so he still will have to overcome him then lastly Kaiser scoring the last point making Isagi need to meet him in the u20 to get him back finally making him the naked king Just my take for a interesting story
Yeh, I think in general that's the option most people anticipate. I just don't know how Isagi would overtake Rin as rank 1 if he doesn't outscore him like he said.
The issue with that order would be Kaiser would lose by the second goal as Isagi outscores him. At least if Isagi only had 1 then Kaiser still has a chance to tie and not embarrass himself
Honestly, what could Isagi do in this game to somehow reach #1? What type of super goal/s can he do to be the best? A pure instinctual play? A full pure ego mode (environmental awareness) similar to berserker rin?
Well I'm expecting 2 goals from Isagi and 1 from Rin. That way Isagi jumps from 150 -> 250 and Rin 198 -> 248. His first goal I'm guessing is a predator eye type goal with his direct shot from an assist off Kiyora. I think predator eye is a skill he could develop too seeing as Kaiser and Rin also potentially having it. Then his second I think will be similar to Hiori and Charles' goal where Isagi and Ness link up for the perfect last play.
Judging by Cho's performance in the U20 game that would be a yikes lmao. I'd rather Yuzu and Akira just join Rin and Shidou's formations and play as the defensive player's like Michelin or Gabin

He isn't completely naked, more a defeated emperor. He is still the primary carry for BM and the top scorer for the team, plus his teammates like Ness, Grim, Mensah and Birkenstock are still active. Just like in chapter 171 in his own words, he changed his mindset to destroying Isagi and has lost sight to his own ideal of doing the impossible and becoming the world's best. To me his self evaluation is flawed and he hasn't found a proper solution to resolve his biggest issue which is his weak mental.
@akiraendoji well, contextually speaking, defining being the "naked emperor" as losing the BM team wouldn't make much sense, would it? If we consider Kaiser's reason for even joining the NEL (Chapter 208), it's clear that being BM's ace is not among his priorities, at least not his primary ones. He's already achieved his reason for joining the NEL (forcing a move away from BM, since it's impossible for him to prove himself as the best striker since Noa's there). How would losing a team he wanted to lose make him any naked? I don't think Kaiser has a weak mentality per se. Calling him a weak minded person to me feels like calling Barou or Rin weak minded since their mentalities are similar. I think the whole "naked emperor" thing (which I'm still not convinced is a "prophecy") is more personal and thematic. I think Kaiser's obsession with Isagi comes from the fact that his own mentality is being used against him. He considered himself an absolute talent, something that should be in the realms of impossible to beat (for Isagi, that is.) He broke Isagi a couple of times, but he kept coming back and eventually beat Kaiser, which, to him was supposed to be impossible. Remember, this was the guy who said Isagi was a "foolish clown who thought was the protagonist until now" but now he's become the clown of Isagi's story. He's literally feeding off the scraps of Isagi's plays. If we add the fact that the NEL was Noa's test for Kaiser (we know Noa hates Kaiser's habit of acting superior), it all comes full circle how Kaiser has already been in the doldrums. Also, the fact that Isagi himself is not as personally invested in crushing Kaiser as he is in beating Rin/winning the NEL, it becomes quite clear imo. This is why I believe we've already seen a naked emperor. I don't think his ego dying was what naked emperor meant. He's got quite a strong one. But, I guess we'll see

That's fair, although I don't think Isagi's salary will exceed Kaiser's I do believe there is a chance that Kaiser loses his offer from La Real and go back down to 300 million. In my eyes Isagi must score twice so irregardless of if he scores or not he will effectively lose to Isagi again, without 2 goals he won't overtake Rin which has been emphasized since before this match. As for Kaiser I'm not sure how his weapon will be shown but I'm not expecting a goal from it although he could score instead of Kuni.
Realistically for isagi to lose would have to be in the U-20 arc against Germany which is practically against Kaiser as it will generally be another Rin vs Isagi rivalry and in this NEL match it’s only fair that Isagi wins since he has lost twice to Rin n due to the saying “3rd times the charm” it’s clear that this is isagi’s 3rd time going against Rin meaning he should win by what we call “Luck” aka a wonder goal that Isagi may never ever be able to recreate in the series ever again
Manshine win 3-2 with Nagi scoring final goal. I don't see Barcha winning, they just don't have the star power and it makes more sense that the teams are ranked in BM's clear order so Barcha > Manshine > Ubers > PXG > BM. Reo and Nagi will listen to Agi and abandon their co-dependence and so I'm actually expecting it to be Bachira x2 and then Chigiri, Reo and Nagi all scoring, with Reo's goal being flexible in who scores

He potentially could be #2, depends on his fate in the U20 world cup and NEL. I think there's also a chance the prodigy Kaiser fades into nothing like how Chris and Snuffy both say prodigies can vanish but I don't think that would happen. In chapter 171 we see Kaiser talk about jealousy and losing their own ideals and we know that current Kaiser is jealous* of Isagi he has lost his focus on his ideal which is doing the impossible. His current mindset has strayed from his ambition of being the world's best striker to crush Isagi, he has lost his original ideal. For a guy that preaches doing the impossible isn't it funny that he is fleeing from Noa. Kaiser's main issue is his mentally fairly weak which is why he has a glass chain in his volume cover. He has a faster swing than even Noa, has meta vision and predator eye and already a top u20 player, he has the potential skill to be rank #2. What's holding him back is his mindset which is why I need Isagi to defeat him again and overall. He needs to remember his ideal and the reason he got the blue rose tattoo to begin with. He must learn he can do the impossible, even overcome Noa. As for why I think he will be rank #2, it's mainly because Isagi and Kaiser are constantly compared to and the fact Chris was like Kaiser who had his own issues but managed to overcome it. The coaches like Snuffy and Chris actually give quite a lot of insight into failing and learning from it which is what I want from Kaiser. But tbh I don't think there will be a singular rank 2, it will be debatable beaten Barou, Nagi, Rin, Kaiser, Loki and some future introduced character's. The only thing for certain will be Isagi as #1

He spent all this time crushing weaklings that he is now that weakling compared to Isagi which is great for Kaiser's character because it means that he will improve and tackle more difficult situations like Isagi.
i feel like after this match kaiser will lose his bid and instead plot twist la real bids for isage and therefore in the end making isagi superior to kaiser in a way (call it wishful thinking but in my eyes it makes enough sense)

For me the best thing would be to have: Shidou scoring, charles assists Kunigami scores , kiyora assists Rin scores, charles assists Isagi scores, hiori assists Kaiser scores, ness assists The order between kunigami and rin could change. This is the best order, as I think Isagi will only surpass kaiser and Rin in the U 20 world cup arc. This would make Royale still bid for kaiser and making a duo with sae which could be a great match to see between Rin and isagi vs Kaiser and Sae

Well Igaguri is the definition of luck, and wouldn't be shocked if he uses his malicia against Loki although it's more like he stops Shidou. Salary is just their annual club offer that we see in every intermittent

I also don't think Kaiser is scoring. Personally, don't think he has lost everything yet (Naked King theory). You should make an update on this, revisit your statements and update your theory 👍🏼
Well, Shidou and Igaguri were teammates previously, so I'd guess he is more likely than Rin. Maybe if Shidou gets subbed off then Kunigami can move back into the striker role but I think Shidou getting a yellow is more likely without getting sent off
with the hindsight of Shidou scoring first in think: Shidou, Zantetsu, Kunigami, Kaiser, Isagi. I dont think Rin will score so he can officially lose to Isagi and also I wanna see an unexpected goal in Zantetsu or someone else
Zantetsu scoring is unlikely and even though I don't like Rin scoring is a must for him. Rin fans waited too long for this and we need to see his destroyer flow/ego to destroy Isagi which is why I think Rin scores with a direct shot/volley

More of a theory than guarantee, I'm fairly certain Kaiser won't score but he still can score I just think he can only score the 1st goal and if Kunigami scores it then Kaiser won't
While i do think bm wining is more likely I do have a bit of a crack theory if pxg were to win is what if shidou actually scored 2? Shidou is a weird position in the story. He lacks much interaction with characters outside of rin (his kunigami dynamic as much as we talk about it isnt really focused on yet), is made into an antagonist for the u20 game, and just got a goal with very little actual character focus in it. All lf that is despite being framed as the 2nd best in blue lock and possibly even better with a proper midfielder. Him just continuing to be a really strong player that we cant properly incorporate on the team doesnt seem like the long term purpose of his character. If he was instead to finally take a lead in the rankings all of this could change. While their is a lot of hype for isagi winning he can still outperform kaiser and rin in this scenario and still loose. The author loves to put isagi back down as an underdog going into new arcs and this is one way to achieve it (looses 2nd selection, unranked in 3rd, gets the worst physical score despite being the best performing in the u20). As for kunigami theirs a world cup of games with only blue lock players as reoccuring characters so in team drama plot lines like that have plenty of time too resolve
Well Shidou has his whole thing with Kunigami currently and Igaguri later into the match, he will have a great presence already. Honestly wouldn't be shocked if Shidou "scored" another goal but doesn't count because Igaguri uses his Malicia

My petty self wants Kaiser to score the last goal because: I'm tired of Isagi being involved in all NEL match deciding goals. PxG losing won't necessarily mean Rin lost to Isagi (not a fan of plot driven Ls or Ws), so I'd take a sort of stalemate where both players can take their rivalry to the u20 World Cup without either of them feeling inferior (also tired of the whole underdog vs kingpin dynamic to BL rivalries that Isagi's been part of since the 1st Selection. I'd prefer a Rin-Isagi rivalry where they kinda acknowledge each other as rivals [like the Nagi - Barou or Noa - Snuffy rivalry] Kaiser scoring the winner maintains the element of sneaky rivalry without letting either Rin or Isagi just be OP central figures of the match [and the subsequent u20 World Cup]. It'd be the same thing as Shidou's goal, a goal that the central figures can't predict. More so, Kaiser scoring the winner also maintains the fearsome reputation/ability of NG11 players ahead of the u20 World Cup. It'd be a little underwhelming and would minimise the stakes, knowing that BL players are already the standard of u20 World football. We get to see this new weapon that's supposed to end Isagi for good
BM will win but Isagi wont beat Rin maybe tie but he won't beat him. In fact I think Rin and Shidou will score and then Loki and Noel Noa come out and Noel Noa scores because Charles isn't able to keep up with the level of play with Loki and Noa going full throttle meaning that in the world cup arc Charles and Loki become a vastly more dangerous problem. So scoring will be Shidou, Kunigami, Rin, Noa, then finally Isagi. So it's a tie for goals between Rin and Isagi but not a complete defeat by RIn more along the lines of Rin and Isagi are somewhat on the same level going into the world cup arc.

I do want to mention that I wrote this before Shidou scored and so some of it is a bit outdated. Like Kunigami won't score the first goal for BM like the egoist 4 theory but I still think he will score the first goal for BM. Also in retrospect it's probably more likely to be Shidou -> Kunigami -> Rin -> Isagi -> Isagi than Shidou -> Rin -> Kunigami -> Isagi -> Isagi. But I still think Kaiser will not score at all this match. Let me know who you think scores.

I actually had a dream like 6 months ago or so, of Isagi awakening and scoring the final goal by himself.
It was a rather hype dream, where Isagi was on the ground and his puzzle pieces are cracking and he alongside his Puzzle PIeces start to fade as the perspective would switch to everyone else and right as Rin would score the last goal in his Destroyer Flow State, a wild Isagi would steal the ball with a sliding tackle, shocking everyone since he appeared out of nowhere.
Isagi then storming the field, looking as if he was possessed (but unlike Rin, he seemed emotionless) where he would move as though he knew what everything would happen without having to look and he would do short touches as a weird forming of dribbling that relied on Isagi orbiting around the ball in an "off the ball" type of way, while altering the ball's course with godlike timing and nutmegging people in the process.
It ended with Isagi scoring on Rin, with Rin's only mistake being that he freed up sufficient space by moving his head to face Isagi. In doing so the ball was already shot as if, yet again, Isagi knew Rin would do that in advance.
(I have been basing some of my theories on it ever since. Those who've seen and remember my comments on other CZcams videos... those people will know 😅)

Sounds cool, my only concern with that would be the goal could be beyond his skill level like Ego's discussion in chapter 196 (like Ego's issue with Yuki and Nagi). He will likely stop Rin multiple times like Barou and will have a stellar performance worthy of rank 1 but scoring by himself is unlikely especially since in chapter 253 we see Hiori emphasising coordination between players which is why I believe it will be Ness assisting Isagi.

I feel like isagis final piece to his original ego is an elite dribbling skill, in the light novel it said he was able to dribble through anyone and score at will. He can't play off the ball in this match like he usually does because Rin will sniff that out and destroy it. It will FORCE him to have to dribble and that's when he will unlock his original ego.
His dribbling is currently weak and I would love for him to improve it but the light novel overrated his dribbling ability. Like he was good at dribbling against trash but if you look back in chapter 1 he still relied on looking at the ball to dribble. That being said I would love for him to show more dribbling and ball handling feats in 1v1's like in the Manshine match.
Nah, I don't think Isagi is that close to his polished state. At the very least, he needs to learn how to use metavision to predict crosses, and if I had to guess, he's also got to learn that "have a plan B" lesson Snuffy taught Barou. Then, there's a pretty good chance that a piece exists which would allow him to either devour or cross with Kaiser (it's been hinted at that the way for BM to improve past PXG is for Isagi and Kaiser to find a way to work together), and none of the previously mentioned pieces fit that bill.
I do think BM will win. But all I just need is Nanase assisting Rin and making the top 23 so he makes it 🙏

I agree with you that Isagi has a high chance of scoring twice this match, with Kaiser not scoring at all, but my main problem with that theory is that it would completely ruin Kaiser's role as an antagonist in the story and no reader would ever be intimidated by his presence again.
I mean, this dude just lost to Isagi in some way or another 3 times in a row. Am I supposed to care if Japan runs into Germany in the U-20 WC or the actual WC when that would just be Kaiser losing to Isagi for the 4th/5th time in a row?
Like you said, maybe that was always supposed to be Kaiser's role, fulfill the naked emperor prophecy and serve as a stepping stone for Isagi to become the best striker ever, but to me, Kaiser is one of the coolest and most interesting characters in the entire story and having him lose so badly all hype for him disappears forever would be a waste of such a cool character.
Maybe Kaneshiro can write Kaiser losing completely here in a way that doesn't ruin him as a villain, but I just don't see how that's possible.
It depends on his presence in the match, like Isagi couldn't score in the Manshine match but you could acknowledge his skill. The thing with Kaiser is that his goal last match is still single handily the best goal in the series, an upside down bicycle kick into a nutmeg is something Isagi could never do. He will always have the presence of great talent even if he doesn't score in this match.
As for the U20 match in the world cup, Kaiser will probably not be the main antagonist again. He may be a quarters opponent or something but Germany's team won't necessarily be BM, it could be a hybrid of Berserk Dortmund the other German team for instance. A team forming around Kaiser not some dysfunctional team like the current BM will do Kaiser justice.
Even if Kaiser loses a 4th time in a row that will be fine, don't forget every other rival from Isagi has the same fate like look at Barou. Isagi just beats him every time they play, same as Nagi.
@akiraendoji I feel like Barou, Nagi and even Niko started off as Isagi's rivals, but they ended up on a one-sided rivalry by the end of the first selection (Isagi doesn't really think much of them until they have a match against each other). On the other hand, Kaiser and Rin have a two-sided rivalry with him and are constantly in his head.
If Kaiser is fully defeated, even though he would fulfill his role as this arc's main antagonist, that would dimish his impact as the ace of his team, his future appearances and the new Gen 11 as a whole. Look at Don Lorenzo or Sae, that despite losing, their performance has been top notch during the entire match. But on Kaiser's side, he didn't have a chance to shine much on the Manshine or Ubers match (besides his goals). He NEEDS to score if they still want the New Gen 11 to mean something (plus his new weapon).
What I do see is maybe Isagi stealing Ness from him and finally breaking him mentally, which could lead to: making him go rogue (like Rin in U-20 or Yuki against Manshine) and stealing the ball directly from his teammates leading him to solo the defense and score the last goal (which would show his level compared to the others that tried before), comply with Isagi and become a team making super goal (like with Barou) or get a final unexpected pass from Isagi leading to a last super goal (like with Yuki). In all 3 scenarios he lost his crown as the emperor of the team because he would've lost Ness' loyalty (which he would now just realize how valuable it was), but still showed his prowess as an amazing striker. This could lead to the team still acknowledging his amazing talent, but remarking that he's no longer the only option to score. This would definitely humble him, and let to further development for the future WC arc.
Of course, this is all my speculation as a big fan of both Isagi and Kaiser (I like him a bit more, tho). I'm still super hyped and I wanna see both of my boys bring the best of them :D

Watching this video after the Isagi scoring the first goal makes me believe Isagi will score 2 and Kunigami will score 1. Like you mentioned in the video, Kunigami's arc will be underwhelming if he doesn't score considering he's pretty much a Noa clone that needs to develop. Maybe you can make the case that assists and preventing Shidou from scoring any more goals might be enough to complete his arc but it feels weak imo.
I can still see Kaiser scoring 1 goal but if he does, it wouldn't make sense narratively if he scores the last goal so it has to be the second goal by default. If he does score, then are we really expecting anyone else other than Isagi to score? The foreshadowing really shows that he wants to be #1 by the end of this arc so it just makes sense.
As for the other prospects, it'll just take away from the storyline from Isagi, Kaiser, or Kunigami from this arc. At best, I see Kiyora scoring just for the sake of finally showing off what he's capable of but I highly doubt Kaneshiro will go that direction. I'm expecting assists and dribbling tech from Kiyora atp. Definitely don't see Yuki scoring; his arc is already done imo.
As for the masters, I don't think they're gonna join this one at all. If they do, for sure no team is scoring. During those 3 minutes, they're probably gonna throw a bone to Igagoat and Teppei just so they're offered a contract. I think Kaneshiro will end Igaguri's arc with a send off since he doesn't care about being the best so he doesn't need to make the roster and Teppei will get an offer to some club so he gets a happy ending.

I remember watching a video a while back. That goes in depth in the potential theory that the NEL is rigged and is favoring anyone who had a good performance in the U20. Barou, Isagi, Nagi, etc. With that being said, I feel that this game is going to have a couple ass pulls to somehow make Isagi the top player in the NEL. Shout out to Chigiri.
Personally the NEL isn't really rigged for players; the players in the U20 game perform well in the NEL because they've always been better than the others on the team. Some players definitely picked the wrong team to join however it's like Bachira said, it doesn't matter the team it's just whatever you make out of it. There will definitely be ass pulls, like just look at Rin's foul last chapter and Igaguri with his future Malicia. At least with Isagi he had a monster performance in the past 2 games, so I think him reaching rank 1 is definitely feasible.

My reason kunigami for the wild card/redemption, Isagi riding the moral would get the third point of the match but Rin peeved so he makes it even still making him better than Isagi for the u20 cup so he still will have to overcome him then lastly Kaiser scoring the last point making Isagi need to meet him in the u20 to get him back finally making him the naked king

Well I'm expecting 2 goals from Isagi and 1 from Rin. That way Isagi jumps from 150 -> 250 and Rin 198 -> 248.
His first goal I'm guessing is a predator eye type goal with his direct shot from an assist off Kiyora. I think predator eye is a skill he could develop too seeing as Kaiser and Rin also potentially having it.
Then his second I think will be similar to Hiori and Charles' goal where Isagi and Ness link up for the perfect last play.

He isn't completely naked, more a defeated emperor. He is still the primary carry for BM and the top scorer for the team, plus his teammates like Ness, Grim, Mensah and Birkenstock are still active. Just like in chapter 171 in his own words, he changed his mindset to destroying Isagi and has lost sight to his own ideal of doing the impossible and becoming the world's best. To me his self evaluation is flawed and he hasn't found a proper solution to resolve his biggest issue which is his weak mental.
@akiraendoji well, contextually speaking, defining being the "naked emperor" as losing the BM team wouldn't make much sense, would it? If we consider Kaiser's reason for even joining the NEL (Chapter 208), it's clear that being BM's ace is not among his priorities, at least not his primary ones. He's already achieved his reason for joining the NEL (forcing a move away from BM, since it's impossible for him to prove himself as the best striker since Noa's there). How would losing a team he wanted to lose make him any naked?
I don't think Kaiser has a weak mentality per se. Calling him a weak minded person to me feels like calling Barou or Rin weak minded since their mentalities are similar. I think the whole "naked emperor" thing (which I'm still not convinced is a "prophecy") is more personal and thematic.
I think Kaiser's obsession with Isagi comes from the fact that his own mentality is being used against him. He considered himself an absolute talent, something that should be in the realms of impossible to beat (for Isagi, that is.) He broke Isagi a couple of times, but he kept coming back and eventually beat Kaiser, which, to him was supposed to be impossible. Remember, this was the guy who said Isagi was a "foolish clown who thought was the protagonist until now" but now he's become the clown of Isagi's story. He's literally feeding off the scraps of Isagi's plays. If we add the fact that the NEL was Noa's test for Kaiser (we know Noa hates Kaiser's habit of acting superior), it all comes full circle how Kaiser has already been in the doldrums. Also, the fact that Isagi himself is not as personally invested in crushing Kaiser as he is in beating Rin/winning the NEL, it becomes quite clear imo. This is why I believe we've already seen a naked emperor. I don't think his ego dying was what naked emperor meant. He's got quite a strong one. But, I guess we'll see

That's fair, although I don't think Isagi's salary will exceed Kaiser's I do believe there is a chance that Kaiser loses his offer from La Real and go back down to 300 million. In my eyes Isagi must score twice so irregardless of if he scores or not he will effectively lose to Isagi again, without 2 goals he won't overtake Rin which has been emphasized since before this match. As for Kaiser I'm not sure how his weapon will be shown but I'm not expecting a goal from it although he could score instead of Kuni.

Realistically for isagi to lose would have to be in the U-20 arc against Germany which is practically against Kaiser as it will generally be another Rin vs Isagi rivalry and in this NEL match it’s only fair that Isagi wins since he has lost twice to Rin n due to the saying “3rd times the charm” it’s clear that this is isagi’s 3rd time going against Rin meaning he should win by what we call “Luck” aka a wonder goal that Isagi may never ever be able to recreate in the series ever again

I don't see Barcha winning, they just don't have the star power and it makes more sense that the teams are ranked in BM's clear order so Barcha > Manshine > Ubers > PXG > BM. Reo and Nagi will listen to Agi and abandon their co-dependence and so I'm actually expecting it to be Bachira x2 and then Chigiri, Reo and Nagi all scoring, with Reo's goal being flexible in who scores

He potentially could be #2, depends on his fate in the U20 world cup and NEL. I think there's also a chance the prodigy Kaiser fades into nothing like how Chris and Snuffy both say prodigies can vanish but I don't think that would happen.
In chapter 171 we see Kaiser talk about jealousy and losing their own ideals and we know that current Kaiser is jealous* of Isagi he has lost his focus on his ideal which is doing the impossible. His current mindset has strayed from his ambition of being the world's best striker to crush Isagi, he has lost his original ideal.
For a guy that preaches doing the impossible isn't it funny that he is fleeing from Noa.
Kaiser's main issue is his mentally fairly weak which is why he has a glass chain in his volume cover. He has a faster swing than even Noa, has meta vision and predator eye and already a top u20 player, he has the potential skill to be rank #2. What's holding him back is his mindset which is why I need Isagi to defeat him again and overall. He needs to remember his ideal and the reason he got the blue rose tattoo to begin with. He must learn he can do the impossible, even overcome Noa.
As for why I think he will be rank #2, it's mainly because Isagi and Kaiser are constantly compared to and the fact Chris was like Kaiser who had his own issues but managed to overcome it. The coaches like Snuffy and Chris actually give quite a lot of insight into failing and learning from it which is what I want from Kaiser.
But tbh I don't think there will be a singular rank 2, it will be debatable beaten Barou, Nagi, Rin, Kaiser, Loki and some future introduced character's. The only thing for certain will be Isagi as #1

He spent all this time crushing weaklings that he is now that weakling compared to Isagi which is great for Kaiser's character because it means that he will improve and tackle more difficult situations like Isagi.
i feel like after this match kaiser will lose his bid and instead plot twist la real bids for isage and therefore in the end making isagi superior to kaiser in a way (call it wishful thinking but in my eyes it makes enough sense)

This is the best order, as I think Isagi will only surpass kaiser and Rin in the U 20 world cup arc. This would make Royale still bid for kaiser and making a duo with sae which could be a great match to see between Rin and isagi vs Kaiser and Sae

Well, Shidou and Igaguri were teammates previously, so I'd guess he is more likely than Rin. Maybe if Shidou gets subbed off then Kunigami can move back into the striker role but I think Shidou getting a yellow is more likely without getting sent off

Zantetsu scoring is unlikely and even though I don't like Rin scoring is a must for him. Rin fans waited too long for this and we need to see his destroyer flow/ego to destroy Isagi which is why I think Rin scores with a direct shot/volley

Shidou is a weird position in the story. He lacks much interaction with characters outside of rin (his kunigami dynamic as much as we talk about it isnt really focused on yet), is made into an antagonist for the u20 game, and just got a goal with very little actual character focus in it. All lf that is despite being framed as the 2nd best in blue lock and possibly even better with a proper midfielder. Him just continuing to be a really strong player that we cant properly incorporate on the team doesnt seem like the long term purpose of his character. If he was instead to finally take a lead in the rankings all of this could change.
While their is a lot of hype for isagi winning he can still outperform kaiser and rin in this scenario and still loose. The author loves to put isagi back down as an underdog going into new arcs and this is one way to achieve it (looses 2nd selection, unranked in 3rd, gets the worst physical score despite being the best performing in the u20). As for kunigami theirs a world cup of games with only blue lock players as reoccuring characters so in team drama plot lines like that have plenty of time too resolve
Well Shidou has his whole thing with Kunigami currently and Igaguri later into the match, he will have a great presence already. Honestly wouldn't be shocked if Shidou "scored" another goal but doesn't count because Igaguri uses his Malicia
Personally what I want is Kaiser scoring at least 2 goals and Isagi needing the u20 world cup to get his revenge and btw Shidou already scored in this game

I'm tired of Isagi being involved in all NEL match deciding goals.
PxG losing won't necessarily mean Rin lost to Isagi (not a fan of plot driven Ls or Ws), so I'd take a sort of stalemate where both players can take their rivalry to the u20 World Cup without either of them feeling inferior (also tired of the whole underdog vs kingpin dynamic to BL rivalries that Isagi's been part of since the 1st Selection. I'd prefer a Rin-Isagi rivalry where they kinda acknowledge each other as rivals [like the Nagi - Barou or Noa - Snuffy rivalry]
Kaiser scoring the winner maintains the element of sneaky rivalry without letting either Rin or Isagi just be OP central figures of the match [and the subsequent u20 World Cup]. It'd be the same thing as Shidou's goal, a goal that the central figures can't predict.
More so, Kaiser scoring the winner also maintains the fearsome reputation/ability of NG11 players ahead of the u20 World Cup. It'd be a little underwhelming and would minimise the stakes, knowing that BL players are already the standard of u20 World football.

BM will win but Isagi wont beat Rin maybe tie but he won't beat him. In fact I think Rin and Shidou will score and then Loki and Noel Noa come out and Noel Noa scores because Charles isn't able to keep up with the level of play with Loki and Noa going full throttle meaning that in the world cup arc Charles and Loki become a vastly more dangerous problem. So scoring will be Shidou, Kunigami, Rin, Noa, then finally Isagi. So it's a tie for goals between Rin and Isagi but not a complete defeat by RIn more along the lines of Rin and Isagi are somewhat on the same level going into the world cup arc.
Nah, Noa won't score again he is fully going into the development route and doesn't want to interfere in the growth of the BM players.
