I head to the coast with some new hammock equipment to test out made by 'Ticket to The Moon'. Bad weather rolls in with squally showers blowing in across the Irish Sea. I set up the hammock in a spot which afforded me expansive views across the coastline and out to sea which was extremely relaxing and peaceful.
The weather took a turn for the worse overnight, however the Moon Tarp kept me nice and dry! Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for my camera which fell over through the night and landed outside the protection of the tarp - the camera and lens are likely damaged beyond repair which is pretty devastating as I cannot replace them at this time.
Enjoy the sound of the ocean and the relaxing ambience on this one - enjoy our Great Outdoors and always leave no trace!

Beltin vid that. The hammock and tarp etc. looks the business I assume it's ethically produced and sourced which can only be a good thing these days.
I noticed the Evening Primroses in the shots. We've just translocated some today into our Butterfly meadow on our local nature reserve.

Great video again Chris,and good to see you get out there and recharging yourself again clearing the mind. Gear looked impressive although hammock is not my bag. Great video Chris and what a fantastic location for hammock camp. I like those “look what we found” meals, they’re tasty and good value. Shame about the camera. Try leaving it sat on a bowl full of dried uncooked rice over the radiator or in front of the fire to draw out the moisture (worth a try). ATB mate 👍
Thanks Joe 👍 The equipment is in sealed bags with rice in - will give it a few days then power it on - I think there is more chance of the camera surviving, think the lens is knackered - ATB pal

@@MCMOutdoors only found the bolognase in local waitrose n the we found website is dead domain for sale .. n thier fb na been active since 2016 cant do chilli or tikka . where can i get the rest of the range cheap ?? wants d lambhotpot n the meatball ones waitrose said cant order in to local store mind u twerp that told me that told me theydidnt have the bolognaise either but was three on shelf... apparently braincells are optional if u work f waitrose lol

Mate that was a good camp, lucky you having good mates with similar interests. Now I head you talking about the stresses of work, let me recommend not working! Looks good. But i would change the daisy chain suspension for a beckett hitch or cinch buckle system
I guess it's personal preference which suspension people use. I've got other hammocks which I've added whoopie slings too which obviously allow a finer degree of adjustment, seam re cinch buckles - but this is designed with simplicity in mind for those that want to get set up simply and quickly - works well. Another spot on camp Chris, the weather was tough going at times wasn't it pal as we both know it proved testing at times regarding electronics but the company and location beat that hassle into submission didn't it mate. Always great fun to head out with you man 👍

Is it my new monitor or is this not full HD? Just as well you were set up before the rain, nice location but sick of the poor weather we are having this year so far and never known a year with so much wind. Sounds like it may be a rough night for Ant in a tarp and bivvy and unbelievable how many different beers there are about now. Th only place I have ever seen Look What We Found is Booths in Keswick and I think they are great value. Never heard of Ticket to the Moon before but I like the sound of the company ethos and the sound of a quality product. The coast looked great, real nice sandy beach and what a morning to wake up too, apart from that pesky wind and I hope your camera was okay! Cheers Alan
Haha, it's in 4K so must be something your end mate ! Weather was atrocious and sadly, my Canon camera is ruined along with a nice lens that I used with it - it fell over during the night and landed outside the protection of the tarp! Can't beat those meals Alan and thank you for watching !
