I would like Cyclops to counter Blackbolt. Blackbolt to counter Ultron Phoenix. And someone else to counter cyclops. Need some variation in the arena.

There was an age of Ultron. Foxnext needs to open the floodgates on farming characters. Period. Farming takes a long time. Meta passes before anyone gets them strong. More gold obviously.
Black Bolt on arena defense is easily countered by Invisible Woman on arena offense (her special = cleanse that disrupt). Also counters Crystal's summon stun. I consider a Black Bolt team on defense an easy win. Arena offense is easy anyway. Doesn't change meta at all.

@@thizz707gr I use Ultron | Pyro (can sub Jugg) | IW | Magneto | Phoenix... vs Black Bolt use IW's special turn 1 and take out enemy Ultron to clear his buffs then BB then back to normal business.
BlackPupGames yeah I just tried it. I used iw, ultron, Phoenix, mags, juggs. Except iw special needs to have t4 so it didn't work lol. Good shit tho, the timing is perfect

I look for teams with black bolt. Mr.S is a counter to BB on any team. Disrupt him so he can't be protected then clone him and take out their ultron. its great. I got BB without paying a dime.

They won't make ME farmable anytime soon. She brings them a lot of money.
I'm thinking they are going to make Minn-Erva the new Black Widow. She'll be orb exclusive. That's why she isn't farmable yet and it's almost a year now since she was added to the game. So she is going to be orb exclusive like Black Widow. Black Widow does get blitzes though, so maybe we might see Minn-Erva blitzes. But I think she is remaining exclusive to orbs.

Red stars arent even bad... the bonuses arent insurmountable until high red stars and they're so inherently rare even p2p that they're made irrelevant in the grand scheme of basically every game mode. You can see people battle the god tier blitz teams that are fully stacked 7rs, use a proper counter with no 7rs and win. Counter choice still rules above all else in the game. You can even argue it has fueled sales in this game which has allowed it to thrive and FN to keep delivering new content...
It’s a pay to win game, if you get so caught up in the meta being pay to win than yeah it’s gone down the drain but that’s any pay to win game. If you enjoy this type of turn based game and focus on goals that you have than it’s really fun.
What we really need is a sixth character for sinister six, preferably with some sort of sustainability trait, five characters doesn’t even fit the tag...
Maybe doc oct? Make him a healer at that? Equals out hp and regen?

He did not say that he said he didn't believe he would be but foxnext hasn't given an official statement on cyclops release method so if at a later time they wanted him to be a legendary they can still do so without backlash

It’s hilarious this is the same thing that’s happening in swgoh. General sky walker coming out requiring a huge paywall and being trash at 5 stars, not working correctly, and beating the best current team when he’s full stars. Now in this game this character has a paywall, doesn’t completely work and defeats the current best team lol. These mobile games really hurt themselves more than anything else
Crystal is designed to counter Hela, Ultron, etc, stunning Greg and summons, so you can clear rest of team as well
Moving forward with this game I agree FN needs rethink how to keep FTP members appreciated. My friend and I have played since the start and she can't get Blackbolt and she tried but her pulls were low. What if "legacy" players were given higher drop rates for paid characters? Then again RS drop rates still suck when they are increased. Best words to describe this is disheartening and morale killer.
Honestly, for the most part I'm a ftp member however there is sooo much rng to get basic stuff I had to spend something to stay competitive. Ex; farming blue gear slow because I can farm an entire node and get nothing. Why????
Special legendary characters are not made for FTP players on their first pass. It's always been that way in this game.

Even a majority of the holiday stuff was spend to win. Where's the quality of life for those ftp players? I guess as long as whales and dolphins pay they don't need ftp members to operate business. It's a real shame that Foxnext is using its Marvel licence this way and that Disney is letting them do it. MSF could have been a whole lot better without all this greed. I truly hope this game will suffocate from it and die as an example to other greedy game developers.

Crystal message is live already, saw it about an hour ago. I'm hoping she gets the f4 tag, but i doubt she will. They're pushing the inhuman thing pretty hard. Also, iirc, Magneto was a paywall on his first pass. You could only farm a few characters, Wolverine, Storm and Mystique I believe.

What a shock... The newest team counters the previous killer team. Then Cyclops will counter them. Then Doom will counter him. Then MODOK will counter him. Then... you get the idea.

I just got him on Sunday. Lol!! He’s still a beast man. I took him into ftd for my secund run today and did every node in one shot. I stopped at the last one. Gonna finish Tomo. I just can’t do anymore today. My head is hurting from playing ftd so much.

I've noticed that Shield Security doesn't taunt when allies fall below 50% hp when the ally drops below 50% from dots or from Minerva's steal ability, so I'd guess that this is how Black Bolt's passive is supposed to work or it's a coding bug throughout the game.

Unfortunately the way black bolt’s unique works is similar to Hulk’s unique. In fear the darkness I used Minerva’s ultimate against Hulk countless times and if he goes under 50 percent with the Minerva ultimate, then he won’t get the offense up or turn meter, like how black bolt won’t attack if it’s a health steal ability that puts an enemy under 25 percent

I just now unlocked Ghost Rider, it's ridiculous. Do not have Mr Sinister yet and will not even think about Asgardians until I finish getting my Fantastic Four up to around 200k (at 160k) right now. The Advanced Phosphate bottleneck is so incredibly annoying. Only 3 farmable nodes for it and 2 are character nodes, so only 5 chances and still 100 energy at getting them.
FoxNext could solve ALOT of there problems by just opening up Nexus 8 & 9, and making certain characters & orange gear available for farming. Colossus could be made available on Nexus 8-3, Hella could be on Nexus 8-6, and Minn-Erva could be on Nexus 8-9. They could also increase the amount of gold for defeating a node with 3 stars from 2,275 to 4,475 and reward L3 training modules & premium orb fragments, instead of the L2 training modules & basic orb fragments. Naturally, the difficulty would spike from Nexus 7-8, & would continue to scale accordingly. They could also make each normal node cost 15 campaign energy per attempt, instead of the usual 10. While mini-boss nodes could cost 25 campaign energy per attempt.
Black Bolt not triggering on health steal is actually consistent, unfortunately. If you health steal to drop hulk below one of his passive triggers then hulk won’t trigger. I’d expect the same logic for black bolt. Not saying it’s necessarily the right logic, but at least it’s consistent across characters

I totally agree that this is a horrible precedent to have for the new year.
I'd also like to point out that saying something is "not accurate" or "inaccurate" does not make it untrue.
So if we apply this to the cyclops reddit post. Its been said to be inaccurate but no one has straight up said it's untrue. Inaccurate means that parts of it do not reflect what will happen, I. E. Maybe cyclops will not be 6 star unlock but a 5 star unlock whilst still needing all the inhumans etc.
Untrue would mean that, by default, all parts of the post are false. Thus cyclops is not coming, he will not be a legendary unlock etc.
The way the answer was worded, I'd say the smart move is to now to concentrate on getting those inhumans to at least 5.
Me? Since I'm so far behind, I'm just going to continue unlocking my ultron, languishing at sub 250 in arena... But you know what, having fun in the game.
Oh and also theory crafting my counter to the inhumans...
On a serious note, I'm presuming that the straight up counter to inhumans and cyclops x men....

That's right FN keep playing games making our toons we invest in irreverent and eventually more and more people will start quitting. Unless you spend a lot of money and spend a lot on blitzing you'll always be behind you 1 team good another 2 or 3 teams get released

I'm thinking the Captain Marvel event messed up Cyclops's time to come out.
After all this why can't we just get some new game modes. With game modes you instantly have: New ways to play, new ways to release characters, and new ways to get people to pay for things in game.
Just imagine a new game mode like "big brawl": Basically like Blitz but it's a 6 v 6 match.
Funny enough The crystal message came through today.
I would've liked the special skills provided by Crystal and Black Bolt to be on characters in separate teams, since they both counter summoners. They could've improved two lower tier meta teams instead of creating one super anti-summon team.

This change wouldn't hurt mid-range players either. We can still farm our seven star characters for Ultimus orbs

It does count as a summon though. I think his kit reads "summon a clone".

Inhumans won't be the tag to unlock Cyclops. It would be the first time a legendary would be needed to unlock a legendary. My guess will be Milestone event like CM.

It goes both ways though, the "rumour" may be true or not but also you can't know if they play to release more inhumans or not. They could very well have few of them lined up prepared to be released.
By the way Karnak and Crystal are inhumans as well, aren't they? That makes 5 inhumans (besides BB) already in game or soon to be released.
@@Killer4fun Its a rumor started on the POH Discord. There has been no official word on Cyclopes from Fox Next. It seems more likely he will be a milestone unlock since they have not had one in a while after Coulson.

As a newer player(6 months in) I think I might retire before I really start. Played SWGOH since launch and as much as I question CG they at least introduced the hero journey guide to help new players. These greedy bastards still hold Black widow and Thanos behind some random ord drop mechanic and have 0 incentive for new players to see a long term goal with roster progression other than dumb luck.5 star GAS is underwhelming but at least you can prepare and farm accordingly. Fox next obviously is looking to grab cash and to hell with the newer player base. Sure you can blitz and play more but at what cost.Awesome GAC stream btw. Hard to make CG look good but Foxnext managed to do it.
This is infuriating black bolt will likely be much easier to obtain than Ultron so why even get Ultron if his absolute counter is much easier to obtain than him
Because he is still a really strong character and in the end where this really matters for now when there is not that many BBs around is arena. In wars your alliance will most likely have more ultron than enemy alliance BBs. He helps a lot in blitz/raids/FTD and in the blaster challenge.

Your Ultron is completely killing the other Ultron then he revives and Black Bolt comes in and finishes off the revived Ultron. When I use Captain Marvel on Ultron she doesn't kill him but get's him under the 25% so then Black Bolt comes in and finishes him off with no revive.

They have went out of their way to clarify that Dark Phoenix isn’t effected by blackbolts Anti summon ability, why would crystals be any different?
BB is anti-revive, not anti-summon. The developers went out of their way to clarify it wouldn't affect dark phoenix being summoned. Crystal however, specifically stuns summons (unknown how this will work yet).
To clarify it even more, Dark Phoenix is NOT a revive. It is a SUMMON. Hence Crystal works and BB doesn't. That's also why you have to revive her in raids if Dark Phoenix comes into play.

JJ is fine, hand archer is removing 1 buff. Yea, with pretty much 100% chance, but one buff per character. It's good for thanos, because he has only the taunt by himself, but a jugger or colossus buffs themselves into the sky.

It's really lame how much Black bolt counters ultron. There should always be incidental counters to characters, but to so blatantly make a kit that is targeted at specifically one other character is just dumb.

i dont get msf whales why they dont make more pressure to fn. they should be asking for their money refund from apple and fn because fn knowingly released broken character and still didnt fixed him. something similar to this happened in other game i play and players have threatened with lawsuit and asking for money refund. it got fixed next day in a unscheduled patch with apology by devs and company.
How could they make Cyclops a legendary he would just be a blaster. The only Legendary X-men characters they could get away with are Rogue maybe or Emma Frost.
