There was a Twistee Treat in Cape Coral, Florida where my parents lived in the early 1990’s. Very cool to see that building again.
We have one here in Melbourne Florida as well.
There's one apparently in London Ontario Canada. I use to live there but I never went to it.

I’ve past the one in London Ontario so many times and have never stopped in. Not sure if they are open for the season yet but I’ll be sure to stop by now and check it out this year.
We had a place like that when I was a kid, but the building didn't look like a cone...just soft serve, milkshakes and sundaes. My go to was always vanilla... it is just so good, but a second place favorite is butter brickle.

When I was a kid there was a Twistee Treat near my house. It didn't last long. I only went there once. There's a local spot that's been around forever that everybody just prefers even if it's farther away. I always liked the building tho. It sat there vacant for a decade probably.
For some reason I just remembered the drive up film drop off places when I was young. Wonder if there's any of those still around?
We don't have that here in the uk.. You can get big tubs of ice cream from the supermarkets...my favourite flavour is raspberry ripple and Belgium chocolate!
#twistteeselfie I have never been to a Twistee Treat place. For a vanilla soft serve ice cream I have always gone to Dairy Queen. I have gotten a chocolate & vanilla soft serve a few times. Tomorrow I will have a fudge bar after supper after watching this video. It is too late at night to have one tonight. Thanks Dave :)

There is an ice cream-shaped Twistee Treat building in London, Ontario, Canada which is closed during the winter, but opens up from spring to autumn.
The one in London, Ontario makes sense because that city is a marketing testing ground for all of Canada because Londoners are fairly conservative and don't instantly adopt a fad or new product, so if a new product or franchise succeeds there, it usually takes off in the rest of Canada even though in this case with Twistee Treat, it survives in London, but never took off in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, etc. :)

#twisteeselfie I love places like this. Unfortunately getting my lactose intolerant family to go with me is a task. (Here I'll get a delicious ice cream, and you can watch me eat it, lol!) In this particular instance though, it looks like they could get a slushie or freezie. There appears to be a Twistee Treat in Houston on the way to my dad and it appears to be part of the chain so to speak, I'll have to stop in next time.
My son gets the slushies and really likes them, he doesn’t like ice cream 😂

You are correct. That is an old Twistee Treat building at the old PitStop in Collegeville.
You are in downtown Clermont not even close to Winter Garden. Nice video but you are in a different county from Winter Garden.
Always someone… The GPS said I was in Winter Garden. So talk to Google. Also I live only two minutes down the road in Winter Garden, that sounds pretty close to me. That’s also why the title of this video specifically says “Clermont / Winter Garden”. They are Neighboring towns. Not really that big of an issue. And technically “downtown clermont” is a good 10 minute drive from this location down 27 then down 50.
Stretching the video even if it’s 15 minutes , I miss the 40 minutes😭

Quality is more important than quantity. The videos are hopefully only as long as they need to be and Dave knows the difference. :)
