- I took a long hiatus. I just recently started speedrunning zombies again and I get this run. This run has exceeded my expectations of the boundaries of Die Maschine. I never thought a sub 20 would be possible for classic category but I might be wrong about that.

i been watching this video for a while cuz im learning this route to start speedruning this map but since then i've been wondering 1: how does he run faster than for example me, with and without stamin up 2: how does he boost himself with the thunderbolt DEAD, i've been looking for info on both topics but i can't find anything lol, my only theory is that it has something to do with the super easter egg that i haven't done yet or with his FOV but appart from that nothing else comes to my mind as a reason for that
Hey man, there's a neat trick in cold war and you'll notice it in this run where I stop sprinting for a second and I sprint again. This is called Sprint cancelling, In Cold War when you start sprinting you are at your fastest sprinting speed at the start of the sprint and then the speed falls off. So, by stopping your sprint and sprinting again you will maintain the fastest sprint speed achievable without stam. When you get stam you no longer need to sprint cancel. Another thing you'll notice is I fun with my fists out until I get the DIE. Running with your fists is much faster than running with your Gallo. Now the Die Electrobolt boost is simple, you just need to purchase speed cola and then you can run and shoot and boost yourself the whole time you're shooting.

i’m by no means a speed runner, i just enjoy watching speed runs. I was wondering if phd slider would shave off some time it takes to traverse between different poi’s, or if the time it takes to acquire it isn’t worth it? also if you’re still interested in cold war zombies speed runs, i have a clip of me hitting some sort of weird super jump that i think might be worth replicating, perfecting and exploiting. it wasn’t a “super glide” (similar to that in apex legends) but instead i went up very high which i could possibly see being used in mauer de toten.
unfortunately phd is too costly to include in the run + not accessible at any good time.

How does the D.I.E Electrobolt make you faster
for whatever reason, if you have speed cola and shoot with the electrobolt it just makes you run faster

ive tried it is very hard but its still a goal of mine
How you do that sprint cancel thing?
theres a bind in game you can set its called "walk" so as im running I press my walk key as i start to notice my character slowing down and then i run again
on controller you literally just run and then stop and as you slow down run again

complete all easter egg quests on cold war then load into zoo on outbreak and find the place to start a ritual and then you have purple guns

How to get 4lvl (purple) weapon on the beginning?
U have to complete all the Easter eggs including outbreak and then go to zoo on outbreak and there should be this pillar thing where u upgrade ur start weapon
If you kill him while he's in the window does it auto give you the card

@@songname7707 the first megaton will always give you the keycard but i split him in the window so that he would already be split when i go into nuke room to kill him, instead of bringing him into nuke room and splitting him there

It's the super Easter egg, if you complete every Easter egg, including the outbreak main Easter egg, your starting weapon starts at purple rarity
