    Some background on Jason... he was the artist on stage during the Vegas mas shooting. He is unfortunately no stranger to violence and it's effect on the innocent. I am in a small town in Texas and my neighbors are black, white, Puerto Rican, Hispanic, Asian and Middle Eastern. We all have one another's phone numbers and know one another's names. We all speak often and are always ready to lend a hand with home or yard improvements or car or truck repairs. I dare say that if anyone brought trouble to our little corner of the world we would take care of one another... without thought of race, religion. gender, age or beliefs. That is how it should be. Turn off lame stream media and go talk to your neighbor! Love one another! God bless you and keep up the great work! =)

    During the protests in Louisville, KY, there were some people that decided not to be peaceful and carjackings and break ins and looting were much higher than normal. When our neighborhood heard our local convenient store owner was sleeping on a mattress in his store with a gun every single night after it closed at midnight, the entire neighborhood stepped up and started taking turns guarding the store for him at night so he could sleep at home with his wife and children. He works from 6am until midnight every day, and he deserved a break. The neighborhood adores him and his family, so people were happy to help.

    Also, Aldean wasn't just talking about citizens defending themselves and their neighbors from acts of violence. What Aldean was saying is that ,while crime and violence is often tolerated, ignored, and sometimes even glorified in big cities, small towns do not tolerate such crimes and violence on multiple levels. In small towns civilians come to the aid of others, law enforcement doesn't look the other way, and violent crimes are prosecuted to their fullest extent.
    Here is a perfect example:
    When small town Florida sheriff Grady Judd heard that some of those protesting were threatened to take their violence into the neighborhoods of his county he held a press conference where he warned those threatening violence that the citizens of his county like guns, they own guns, he encourages his citizens to own guns, and if they take their violence to those citizens he encourages them to use their guns to defend themselves (said a bit more colorfully).
    Below is a link to that press conference, for those that want to see it for themselves:

    Great commentary. I’m sure this song has helped to build a lot of channels as I have subscribed to many based on your excellent views on these issues. I’m now subscribed to yours. I moved from many cities to get into the mountains in a small town of 2500. My neighbors have a fit if I don’t ask for help around the house. My husband died 8 years ago at 50 years old from PTSD. He witnessed the worst of humanity for 50 years in our community as a police sergeant in the city he grew up in. He loved our community so much he gave his sanity and then his life to protect it from these psycho villains you can see in these clips. We do things different in small towns. I try and grow more food than I need to share it. I put things on the curb I can’t use anymore to help people with less. The majority of my friends are black and Hispanic. They all have one major thing in common and that’s they love our country and are sick of the BS the left is doing to destroy our country.

    Lately I'm amazed at this: America is a melting pot of nationalities, it's designed that way which I respect. The last thing the citizens living here needs is to be is easily offended. For any leadership or movement to purposely make this melting pot of Nationalities easily offended in the U.S.A. by sowing division is insane. This country should be a strong people who are hard to offend. With such a great diversity of people we need tolerance, love and understanding.

    The building he did at back in 1927 a black man was lynched, but truh he did it there because its right down from his house, so wouldnt have to travel for it. Also you can go to any location of any videos and search back 100 years to find something bad happened there.

    Apparently the whole lynching thing has something to do with the fact that a courthouse in Tennessee featured in the video was the location of a lynching over 100 years ago or something, so somehow that makes it racist.
    So you can’t film outside a courthouse that had a public lynching over 100 years ago now, it makes absolutely no sense at all, talk about grasping at straws, if that’s the best they could come up with, it kind of says everything you need to know about the stupidity of these people, constantly living in the past and trying to connect things that happened before 99.9% of current humanity was even born with things going on today, it’s desperate and illogical, they can’t find anything to actually criticise it for so they have to engineer fake outrage to feel better about themselves and to justify their hate

    I was born and raised in SW Minnesota in a town less than 3500 people, I am a Gen Xer, we were taught right from wrong, and many times the lesson from doing wrong was not able to sit for a week. We were taught to respect our neighbors, the elderly in the community, and everyone knew everyone else for the most part. Heck the two towns closest were population under 100 people in each of them. Our town had/has a high population of Native Americans due to the national monument and only place they can quarry for the rock to make pipes and such. They are still part of the community, one of my best friends in my high school years was a man who worked for the park service and gave me a hand with my horses when I needed it. I know exactly what Jason is talking about in that song, I still live that mantra today even though I live in a small city of 280,000 people and crime is getting worse and worse (can not wait to move out of here into the country and have a small acreage). We as a community take care of each other when needed. Back in the early 1990's they had massive flooding in my hometown, I drove home over 6 hours the next morning to help those that needed help at that time. The younger generations sadly were never taught that small town mentality and that is why you see what we have today with riots, crime, etc. The big uproar about lynching is the fact the courthouse in the background was known for a black man dragged through town then lynched back in 1927. I had no clue what courthouse that was or its history, I am sure very few did know that info. This song came out back in May and no big uproar till the actual video was released earlier this month when the Karen's went after CMT to pull it cause it was racist, pro-lynching, pro-violence etc. according to them. Why CMT even caved I have no clue, but will not be watching their channel anymore (didn't really watch it in the first place).

      Whether it's they've already watched the video and it's a fake reaction or they did research (the research is totally fine) they have an opinion before going into the video. So as soon as they see something that even remotely fits their narrative they're going to jump on it.

    I am from THE BRONX (a beautiful quiet and diverse neighborhood) "a small town" I once dated a Canadian diplomat and he wanted to re-locate here because we do NOT have skyscrapers where I live. Everyone thinks NYC is a 12X2 mile island called Manhattan, nope. We are 5 boroughs (counties). In my 'hood, during the summer of 2020 people patrolled the streets day and night!!! The U.S.A. consists of millions and millions of "small towns." I think before we go to "war" abroad, I think we are going to be in a civil war instead. Too much truth for liberals.

    Love your reaction! The song is about small towns not putting up with this type of criminality. No racism. The “controversy” is a way to divert attention from the fact that cocaine (could have been anthrax) made its way into the White House. And nobody was called on the carpet for letting a substance into the most secure govt building. I’m not going into the case being closed…

    I keep seeing stuff about this guy crop up, despite not having a clue who he is, so I looked up the controversy. For the song itself, and much of the video, it's easy to give him the benefit of the doubt. One point that's not obvious was that the courthouse shown in the video was apparently the scene of an infamous lynching, where a black man was dragged behind a car before being strung up in the courthouse. The question then becomes why he chose that particular courthouse, given that the song was basically about vigilantism. Was is a simple mistake, or was it a subtle but more disturbing message?

      Thank you for pointing that out my friend. Yes, that’s terrible about the lynching in 1926. I would have to do more research, but I’m sure a lot of positive things, and possibly negative things, have happened there in the 96 years since that terrible ordeal.
      The following is just something I’m choosing to copy and paste on several comments, but it seems like a lot of events/shows/movies should have a black eye now, since the courthouse was featured in them:
      the location was featured in a Runaway June music video for their 2019 song "We Were Rich," the 2022 Paramount holiday film "A Nashville Country Christmas" with Tanya Tucker, and Miley Cyrus' 2009 film "Hannah Montana: The Movie."

    Genuinely want to ask, if the video have Capitol Riot on January 6th video clip in it, would you said people on the "right" side would support it? would the "left" side support it?
    2nd: would it be different if he put like video of river and mountain and local small town video, would people who offended feel different?
    Nothing against the lyrics as it not racist, but I would think Jason know what he doing with the video he upload?

    • @hungtranphotos
      @hungtranphotos Před 11 měsíci

      I don't think whether you are, small town or city, want riot and looting. Let says 1 out of 1,000 people are bad person in small town vs 1,000 out of 1,000,000 bad people in city, the percent is still 0.1% on both side. While the 1,000 obviously would do more damage than the 1 person.

    • @hungtranphotos
      @hungtranphotos Před 11 měsíci

      While there is no racist stuff, one could it more hate and political if you have to break it down. Small town tend to vote more red and city tend to vote more blue. It always us vs them but never about the bad people (of both side). People in every video comment F democrats/liberal, so seem very motivate certain group of people.
