These were some of my favorite characters in old tekken, just the right amount of goofy/practical and a whole lot of fun. But I won't forgive gigas for putting a slingkini on Alex lmao.

I miss Alex and Roger for Tekken 7, it's like when they removed Lizardman/Aeon from SoulCalibur 6 and yet we still got Hwang like cool that they brought him back same with Kunimitsu but Roger has been a regular since T5 and we already had 2 ninja character :/.

These looked amazing! Coincidentally enough, I was thinking about these two recently. My friend's son played Tekken recently (idk which one) and he was describing the "Kangaroo with boxing gloves" (He's 7 but his dad and I have been playing games long before his arrival). I started to appreciate both Roger and Alex's designs from both a lore and gameplay perspective. From their debuts to how they evolved up until their removal, I finally realized how much uniqueness existed in Tekken's roster. These two, albeit slightly clones of each other, have their unique flare with their similar fighting styles.
In Roger's/Jr.'s case, I can't believe they didn't want to bring him back in 7. It would've been great to see either Roger's official return out of "retirement" OR his son, Jr., finally out of the pouch and fighting like his father used to. For those that don't know, Roger's ex-mate is the character you play from T5 onward with Jr. in her pouch mimicking his mother...kind of, even though the playable character's name is listed as Roger Jr. However, once upon a time, Jr. found his father slacking off in an abandoned laboratory (I think it was the Gcorp lab Kaz trashed). When he found his dad chillin and not in distress like he thought all these years, Jr. knocked him many stories through the roof of the building in one punch. It was hilarious and would've been a great narrative Segway into him becoming an official fighter by now. I figured by T7 he'd be his own fighter.
Also, something about Alex being in a slingkini had me both weirded out and impressed that he can not only wear it and look good, but also shamelessly beat someone's ass in it. Good for him.
Here's hoping Namco goes back to fully embracing all the goofy yet serious aspects of Tekken again in future installments. Until then, we have the marvelous modding community. Keep up the good work.

I have a suggestion for the Rage Art
Mom does the rolling fists and 2 arms up pose
Then the move will look like this; starts off with a f3, df1+2, and f1+2 then stuns. Then Mom grabs the guys and pulls their head on to Roger Jr. Then Jr. throws a barrage of punches on to their face then launches them up ending the Rage Art.
Shades of an exclusive Item move for Roger Jr. in Tekken 6 where Jr. wears a red hoodie.

roger and alex are unique characters. The movement is very good, can be side by side with kuma / panda, hopefully in Tekken 7 season 5 / Tekken 8 he will appear 👍❤️🙏🤩

Hi there! Comment on an old vid I know, but just in case you see, I had a few questions about the mod if that's alright.
I went through the whole process of getting the moveset from TTT2 and importing it with the MovesetExtractor, but some things still seem wrong. Attacks that use the tail seem to have no hitbox attached to them, or the hitbox is a bit odd; that rolling attack used at 0:59 in this video for instance only hits the last two attacks, and DF+3 I can't get to hit at all.
Just to clarify, after extracting the animations and replacing the .json, I'm just supposed to boot T7 and use the MovesetExtractor's "Import to P1" button while in the game? It's possible an update broke some things, but I'm not sure I'm doing this right either.
