Hi dear ❤ I agree that the opening of Guidance is off putting but it lasts a few seconds and then it’s very pleasant, soft, the soma this makes it special to my nose, kinda almondy roses peachy ❤ also the olibanum can be sensed 😊

🤣🤣🤣. I love the savage take down. They deserve this. The only tolerable release as you mentioned was Guidance and even that one opens with some body odor type of funk that I was shocked at first sniff. I enjoyed the hazelnut and olibanum but that BO smell was so off putting that I thought something was wrong with my sample. Meanwhile the paid CZcamsrs have been hyping this so much! The heart and base are ok and it has a nice sweet and woody finish. But there is no universe in which I am buying full bottle of this. You’re not going to believe it, most of Amouage sales last year was Guidance and now they have an extrait version listed at $520 for 100ml. Power of influencer marketing happening right in front of us.

You may have just calmed those inner voices that compel me to try and often times buy, these new releases. True, not a fan of the names. Guidance went from a want to a try. Secret Garden is probably my favorite collection as a whole. However, Material from the Liberation collection is amazing as is crimson rocks and meander from the Renaissance collection. I think it’s worth the wait to just sample but I won’t be rushing to get these. Thx for the video!

I was shocked by Lineage in the beginning, too :) Though I don’t hear this first note as a pepper, I get it as a very natural smell of ginger. Very prominent ginger. But after some time it goes to flowers on my skin and to my surprise I really like it. There’s still a hint of ginger in the base, but wet flowers prevail :)

I don't understand the longevity of some of the Amouage that I have like Sunshine, I do love Lyric woman that I decided to buy it after I saw your review thanks for that one. I am really addicted to Journey is like effervescent to my nose and for my surprises my daughter like that in my self, I have so many expectations for Memoir and in my skin end so sweet, Honor I like it but my husband never say much about my perfums and he said that smell like stunning, wealthy reach old money lady all put together but I think you needed other ten years for that one😂😂 I have a list of other five that I what but for next year and I hope not to ever buy a full bottle before testing.

Hmm I've heard Guidance is AMAZING. Now, I had Italica and absolutely could not stand it and got rid of it as a result. I may skip out on this line up altogether. I know scents are subjective but i love your articulate unbiased opinion. 🥰

Same, I gifted Italica. I don’t like the combination of sandalwood with white flowers, and I don’t think I will like Guidance for the reason even though I love the colorway. Feels like a lot of new releases are heading in that floral woody or floral fresh direction, vayala, etc. your comment on ashore was funny 😆
Girl, let me tell you....Guidance is a "beautiful beast". She's classy and very feminine. She is truly Niche! You will go on a journey with Guidance. She is NOT just a vanilla fragrance....John Paul Gaultier where? because it's most definitely not in this fragrance ,lol!! You will pass by the original delina during the wear,Its walking on the line of gourmand but doesn't go all the way, it's kinda fresh but not too fresh. This one is hard to explain but You must get your nose on this one. 6 to 8 hours wear time? You will have to get in the shower to wash this off. I own a full size bottle and purchased it with my own coins. Guidance is worth every penny. You can't get the full experience from a lil sample. Ran to a counter and spray this one from the full size bottle. Two to four sprays and you will be Good and I'm a over-sprayer,lol. check out @sharidaM review she explained it very well.

To reiterate, my fave is Guidance, and to me it is a vanilla fragrance when we strip it down. Ig I was gifted, I would use; however I would not pay msrp. Please consider purchasing when it hits discounters because I assure the entire collection will be on them so fast due to lack of sales. And I am already seeing prs of Guidance more and more. Thank YOU everyone for your feedback. 💜

That's what happens when you part ways with your creative director who made you into a superstar brand. These new fragrance releases post Christopher Chong are underwhelming at best. Btw Christopher Chong is now the creative director of Thameen so look for big things from that brand in the future.

Hello egemen 🌼… for me guidance smell like PDM cassili which is I don’t like it. But for lineage I’m so interesting cause smell really unusual/unique not anything like that 😂😂. But so far my favorite is amouage imitation 🤎🤎

Not interested in any fragnance besides maybe Guidance. Since pear is not my favourite fruit and the drydown doesn’t seem interesting to much, I will try ofc, but I don’t have high expectations. I love a lot of Quentin Bisch work, but I rather stick to the queen Delina exclusif 💓

Is Lineage that bad? It contains frankincense and myrrh. Can you smell that? And is it really that synthetic smelling? So no quality materials? Really curious about that.

Lineage is glorious, imo. Guidance ? If you love it you're probably glad that it permeates everything...if you don't love it, you are probably pissed that it permeated the wood on your desk and won't go away. I'm in the later category.

@@LifeStyledbyEgemen do you think perfumes are becoming less creative and more poorly made than compared to the past? I thought EU regulations like making oak moss illegal, nitro musk’s being banned or minor allergen reasons is ruining the art. What do u think is going on?
@@IanFleming808 since profit margins are exorbitant, we had the explosion of niche brands that want their share from the market. That, in turn, caused them to spit out a lot of scents in a short amount of time, which lacked any sort of thought process behind. That resulted in tons of clones around. Particularly with Amouage, the new direction that the brand is being pulled has not really spoken to the brand’s loyal followers. Amouage executed poorly. 🥂
Oh God... If Guidance is the best of the bunch, I don't know what is Amouage thinking. It is so bad 😢 and to think they've discontinued Fate and Ubar to make room for this. #shame

Tbh i really like lineage on my skin. It smells fresh insency with a subtile hint of spices (only in the opening) 🩵 but dislike the other 3 😅
