You can't blame a faith for someone's action. You better educate your self, mr so called genius. Though i can imagine your circle is full of people who don't know anything about islam otherwise they won't be acting like dumbs. So my advice is think before speak.

This is such a silly, ignorant and irrelevant question.
One or Two of prophet Muhammad wives were Jewish and they NEVER EVER changed their names (Safiyah and another one). Some scholars they say only Safiyah, others mentioned another one.
You are who you are. Don't change it.

On the question of equality, I appreciate your answer and I believe what you’re trying to say is that Men and Women are not necessarily equal however, there has to be عدل or justice in dealing with them and that is what Islam guarantees

    • @PK-tt5kk
      @PK-tt5kk Před 2 lety

she gets the equality thing totally wrong.
Ofcourse men & women have differences but as a society we give them both equality & its the individuals choice to see where they fit.
In Islam the society is asked to put restrictions.
Islams view is that every man is just looking at women sexually. It is just so wrong. When I am in a gym or a restaurant or even a beach. I am not looking around at woman sexually at all.
Infact its quite opposite, Children grown up in an environment where woman are quite open to show themselves are very comfortable in spaces where woman are.
On the other hand I have Muslim friends who are so Awkward around woman, its drilled in their heads that the only thing a man can think of is sex.

Assalamu alaikoum sister. You don't need to change your name. I chose the name Dalal bc it is close to my name. I never use it. As you said, "everyone knows me by my name, I don't want to change it."

    Conclusion:
Judaism rejected Jesus and Christianity rejected Prophet Mohammad but Islam established the bridge among all the three Origins of Abrahamic Faiths by accepting and glorifying Prophet Moses & Prophet Jesus (peace & blessings of God be upon both of them)
And reaffirming 1st & 2nd Commandments as the Ultimate Basis of the "Abrahamic Monotheism".
In Aramaic (Jesus' mother tongue) Jesus called God as "Allaha" and in Arabic the God is called as "Allah".
Also on the Cross cried out as: "Alai Alai la sabak tani" (My God my God why have you forsaken / abandoned me).
Note that Aramaic, Arabic & Hebrew are sister Languages.
If Jesus is God then how come he has God where as God is One God as per the definition of the BIBLICAL GOD?
Islamic Justice for Salvation nothing But exact same mentioned in Ezekiel 18 (para-phrasing}: "The Wickedest of the Waked if turn away from Sins and Repent and do what is lawful & righteous surely he won't die but live.
His Sins will be forgiven (never be remembered) as if he never commit Sin."
Notice Here (Ezekiel 18) God has not mentioned (does not require) or put any precondition for His Forgiveness of Sin such as any Animal or Human or God Jesus's Blood shedding but to Turn away from Sins and Repenting Sincerely & and doing Lawful Righteous deeds.
Islam is the Continuation & Reconfirmation of the same all time Monotheism since Prophet Adam.
As per scripture "God never changes His Nature".
"Quran is the "Last Testament" of the One & Only True God which is preserved
(Please, read once the Quran once to verify it's Message where you won't find any Pornographic description of Sin even committed by few God's chosen Prophets such as Noah's incest, David's Adultery or any "Contradiction" which can be found in the Bible).
In Islam Prophet Mohammad (Peace & Blessings of God be upon him and upon all of the God's Prophets) is a Human Prophet
but not Like Christianity considers Jesus as God which Jesus never unambiguously uttered even once in the entire Bible.
Islam is the Fulfillment of the Abrahamic Monotheism (Prophet Moses & Prophet Jesus (peace & blessings of God be upon both of them) and all the prophet of God's same fundamental Message: Recognize, Worship, surrender & Obey the Commandments of the Only True God but none else. Please, read the Turah, Newtestament and Quran with open mind then you can understand the Fundamental & Basic concept / Message of the Abrahamic Monotheism.
Islam recognizes: All the true Prophets of the Only True God from Adam till Prophet Mohammad (Peace & blessings upon all of them),
Prophet Jesus (Peace & blessings upon him) one of the mightiest Prophet of the Only True God, his miraculous birth of virgin mother Marry, Jesus all the miracle by the permission of God Almighty, his ascension to Heaven as he was saved from the humiliation and Crucifixion what he was begging to be saved from and his 2nd coming to establish Truth, Peace & Kingdom of Father God as per the prayer taught us " Our Father in heaven,,,,,, Thy Kingdom come.."
Islam is just not a merely a Religion like other Religions but "A Complete Way Of Life" for Human that based on the fundamentals of the only unchanged & preserved scripture Quran ordains by the Almighty Creator, Allah and established by the Final Prophet Mohammad (Peace & Blessings of God upon him). Prophet Mohammad considered in Islam as God's Prophet and Servant.

03:25 you don't have to change your name unless your initial has a negative meaning..
like in my country people used to name their child with spirit/devil name (animism is really strong in the place where I was born) , if this happen to you then you can change your name but only your first name
since you're jewish origin, then it's easy to explain the importance of NASAB..we are not allowed to change our father's name ..its a big Sin, and I believe Jewish people also not allowed to change their father's name...in Arabic, its called nasab, I'm not sure what its called in Judaism

Salamun aleykum sister, there is something called Muslim names but it does not need to be Arabic as you mentioned. A Muslim name is name that has good meaning, like the opposite is Vahsh R.A where the name means wild, or Kalb means dog etc msy Allah unite you with your husband.
