Whether fulton was inoues toughest challenge or not, he made that look easy. Won every round
Well, probably imoues first match with donaiere was. You should watch that, incredible match. He broke imoues eye socket and nose and Inoue still kept on going. Most fighters would have stopped. But the really impressive thing is he gets better after every match. With Stephen Fulton. Inoue showed that he has good defense. His defense was always a little lacking .

Inoue accepted a fight with an undefeated champ in a higher weight class (who was going to move up another weight class before the fight was made). He could’ve taken an easier route and tested the waters with a lesser fighter. It reveals the fight in him.

He uses the Philly shell style like Floyd but two things that Inoue might exploit.
First he drops his left hand too much not covering the body which leads him relying too much on his right hand guarding body shots. He tends to overreact to faints to the body opening up huge spaces to exploit.
Second, although he uses Philly style he doesn’t use shoulder rolls effectively to defend orthodox opponents right hook and over hand straight. He tends yo get countered on his jabs a lot. Especially when he throws a double jab with no head movements.
