    I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience czcams.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.

    Love mine. Grilled some veggies, grilled some hot dogs, and grilled a perfect steak. Makes great grilled cheese. Easier to clean than xl. Only cons is some foods tend to slide down the grill into the front slot, and the top can get dirty however I have a baking soda blaster that remedies that. Griddle is great....and definitely recommend the smart version with the Thermometer

    Got mine today, love it. I grilled a steak to perfection with a grea sear on both sides. Is it better than grilling over charcole or wood, no, but nothing is. This however is better then frilling my my gas grill, and faster. That grill gets super hot very quickly and holds the heat. I also air fried some brussel sproutts and they came out amazing.

    how is the fact that you don't clean it properly a con on the grille, i have one and its amazing easy to clean and cooks everything well , side note if you want grille marks on a medium well steak it needs to be a thicker cut, i believe the book gives you a thickness based on time chart or use a thermometer and I'm not sponsored either. good video . curious if you were sponsored would it have been better. you don't have to keep mentioning your not sponsored, it imparts a negative connotation. just my thoughts good video keep up the good product reviews

    I own an original Ninja Foodi Grill (3 yrs of constant use) and ALMOST bought this one...until I saw all the reviews of the pot/pan/grill finish flaking off and people using coasters to keep the food from sliding forward into the grease traps. Apparently Amazon is filtering and deleting negative reviews again...

    Great script organized and exciting and good directing and photography. So glad you mentioned the cleanup which is time consuming. I imagine a good number of people do not have dishwashers so the grease must go somewhere. No dishwasher so if you cook three meals a day with meat, you will do a lot of cleaning of grease. Nothing like making a one pot casserole with a lid and just stick it in the over. So glad you mentioned that the lid (cannot go in the microwave) just about must be cleaned after every meal because grease (if cooking meat) will be all over the lid area and underneath the trays also. That is the biggest downside to me. I used to have the old style Flavorwave and after started using the glass bowl it was almost perfect except for cleaning the lid which after 6 months to a year, I guess many people just threw the whole thing away and got a new one since they were under $100.

      The upper fan has a splatter screen which you are supposed to clean regularly. And you can do lid up or down grilling, but yes, lid up grilling will definitely have some grease splatter associated with it.

    • @larryag99
      @larryag99 Před 2 lety +1

      Some cars DO have a 110v built in inverter, HOWEVER... you would need about a 2000 watt inverter to run the grill... then, good luck trying to restart your car. Most cars with an inverter built in are rated for about 200 watts. Mainly designed for charging a laptop or cell phone charger. That's 10% of what you would need to power this grill.

    Went to a friends house to have chicken strips and she used this cooker. She uses it a lot, and when she opened the lid I was very surprised to see how dirty looking the lid and the screen covering the fan blades looked. Friend says she cleans it all the time, and getting grease off of it is really really hard. When she cooked her chicken strips, they were fully cooked and looked great, but it tasted kinda like it was mixed with salmon, and the night before she cooked salmon for her and her family. She was shocked because she cleaned it right after she did the salmon. I guess the new grease sticks onto the older grease and may drip? Anyway, about a month later, she gave it to her daughter saying that it is too much of a hassle to keep clean with all the use it gets. Personally I think the fan is too close to the food, even a regular air fryer isn't as close. Oh well. Happy Cooking!!! :)
