Excellent scratching man, but I’ve always wondered what the point was with hollow counter weights?! My 1st tt’s (Stanton STR8-30) had them & they were absolutely crap (both the tt’s & the counter weights)!

The best turntable for turntablist vestax pdx a2s to me the torn arm is better than the pdx 2000 is good but need to put a little more weight on the torn arm with real vinyl I got 7 pair of this turntable is a cool turntable for battle the first vertical turntable at the time 90s use by DJ Q bert n DJ mix master Mike n DJ short kuts legend on the world of DJ turntablist man a dope fresh turntable 👍😎 a classic a most have if you are a real DJ n you will go to the zoon with it 😁

Dope custom table. You know where I can find a counter weight and target lights for the Vestax a2 MKII?
You can built a target light on your own with a RCA Plug, a LED and a resistor. An A2s counter weight could be hard to get. Perhaps you can use one of the 2000s or an other TT and set the weight right with a scale.

***** : the platter is thicker and the torque seems higher. The platter feels alot different and the needle is positioned different so you'll have to move all your que points back if your using real vinyl*
The + - 50 pitch adjustment give you more control over where you want to stay or go when cutting

How does the A2s compare to the PDX 2000 (MK2)? Because I currently could get on deals on booth, but now I can't decide which one I should get...
The A2s has a little lower torque. More like the 1210s. The pdx2000s have more torque and ultra pitch. But the A2s is a classic collectors TT and the only TT which is set up in Battle Position for normal use. Also the A2s is made out of wood which is pretty cool, too.
So technically the 2000 is better than the A2s but the A2s is classic and pretty cool and hard to find and very much fun to use!

I HAVE A I7 MACBOOK PRO AND IT DOES NOT GET CHIRPS LIKE THIS, THIS ISNT AS GOOD AS VINYL CHIRPS BUT THIS IS THE BEST IVE SEEN ON TRAKTOR/SERATO PROPz!
I’m pretty sure some Traktor timecode vinyl have are a regular vinyl on 1 side with scratch sounds/samples.

scratching is fun and all but does that really make a dj a good Dj and brag about it. as far as club djs they do their thing to keep people dancing and all but can you dance to all scratches. lol

Its like the trick part of djing. its the extra stuff and its not really a need to learn it but it does come in handy. its the exhibition thing in djing, as a dj you need to play music that keeps the crowd dancing and that is what djing is about
