VDJ started from humble beginnings as software that DJs laughed at. Then version 7 was stable enough to be used in real world DJing stuations. Then version 2020 made it a serious competitor. Now With this STEMS feature VDJ has to be at the top at least for the time being
Again VDJ is knocking it out of the park!! Crazy for live remixing tracks and performance!! Been a VDJ user since day 1 ( over a decade ago) and they keep proving me why I should not leave them!

Virtual DJ is the most stable and advanced DJ software. Others prefer the other DJ software because of marketing -> Pioneer or Serato Name..... the don't look at features but just want to have the logo "Serato" and "Pioneer" at gig. lol. But VirtualDj is the best. (But the name Virtual is not good :) ) they have to change the name or Pioneer have to buy VirtualDJ and not use Juced team developpers... Denon can buy VirtualDj too..... it would be great

I have both software SDJ pro and VDJ pro Vdj is miles ahead more advance than SDJ BUT I am an old skool DJ so I prefer SDJ to dj with because they far behind in development ( in my opinion ) and every thing is basic on my Mc 7000 VDJ is to busy for me to many things happening . If software were vehicle Sdj would be the classic car and Vdj the latest version (
Paolo Concina I’m the same ... serato from the beginning. Just got a pioneer xp2 controller ... changed everything .. loaded up Rekordbox which is free with xp2 and haven’t turned back as can still use dvs via the sl3. Just needed to added an audio interface with 4 outputs to enable records to be played alongside the digital songs.
VDJ is always on the cutting edge, since 2005! The best dj platform. I also like serato, but its such a drag when i'm travelling to always have to figure out if my serato will work wth whatever set-up is at the club. VDJ works with EVERYTHING. This STEM feature is all included, when Serato comes out whit it , you know its gonna be as an extra $$ plug-in.
Serato user here..... man..... thats steppin up the game with those features. More tools to remix and create a whole new song in many ways.. Karaoke on the fly.. Im impressed 👏 salute to you and your team...definitely settin the bar high..

I've been using vdj for some time now, first started using it ten years ago, I love this new stems feature, especially when live mixing online, I find that using the eq for the stems works great especially to stop the underwater effect about 90% of the time. I can't wait to see what VDJ has in store for us next.:)
I think its interesting that Algoriddim claims to need the ARM processors from the iPad/iPhone to make this AI technology work, meanwhile 2 days later VDJ comes op with a computer based version of this feature which sounds the same with a normal processor. This being said I’m very happy that VDJ came up with this, because now the other players like Denon, serato and rekordbox know its possible to put this in standalone units like the Prime 4, which means its not gonna take long before we will be able to use this in live sets at clubs. VDJ was never looked at as the main player with rekordbox and serato arnd and anyone using VDJ was considered amateur, glad i stayed on and did not move to anything else coz these guys really work hard at hearing out grievances and implementing it without a fuss. Way to go #VirtualDj

Great feature. I often do live act and sing during a song. Now I can easily cut a vocal and sing it by myself. Also mashups will be much easier to do and generally great innovation. I see that VDJ can compete with Serato or Rekord Box now without any hung-up. I use VDJ for over 10 years and I'm really proud that this program still develop and gives new innovative features.

I just started using VDJ with my Numark Mixstream Pro and it works so well, I’m just glad I can do most things with both of them either Mac or Standalone…this helped me a lot, thank you!!!

Pioneer already has vocal recognition in RB DJ so it can't be that far off the algorithm the other uses. If I remember right, they all require a certain function called AVX built in to the CPU to work. In short, AVX were introduced in 2011 and most Intel i-series cpu's and the AMD Bulldozer and later series have this, but if you want to be sure, check the specs of your specifik CPU. Also, the use of AVX instructions can cause the cpu to run hotter than usual and cause it to throttle or limit the boost clock. If your CPU tends to run hot this is something to be aware of.
Great feature! Traktor/NI ´s idea years ago was always addicted to existing stems - which never have been available on interesting/well known tracks of the past 30 years. This changes the game completely! Now I can do stems on the fly to my favorite tracks the crowd recognizes. Hope Serato follows...
Amazing. Been doing this with Ableton racks I built myself for live isolation, but this is so much more. I like the garbled sound of the background with the acapella because I find it recognizable to myself and possibly the general audience too as an indication of some kind of isolation being done, which live is cool so they might be tipped off that something cool is happening.
Every DJ since Thomas Edison has thought about this! Even considering the limitations and the issues with audio quality (if this VDJ stems "sound" was released as new effect, we might like it ;-)!) - this is a serious game changer. Kudos to VDJ.

Trust me. The best investment. I used to download. Free crack version then. I just bought it out right i have a ddj sb3. And a ddj 800 so I have all the softwares but. I like that I could go to any controller and play

Most wicked. NI Traktor must be kicking itself for not allowing their stems on all manufacturers controller. I now see the need for the sub controllers like DDJ-SP1 to come back in use!
Well, to be honnest the only big player is Virtual Dj... I'm using all 4 of the basic programs (depending on the project i have) and i can tell you that virtual dj is far the most stable, fast and for sure the most innovate!!! Still it would be nice if they built a controller with the Pioneer's quallity and all the staf that VDJ has... For sure it needs a lot of buttons and knobs... lol
You're welcome to your opinion but Rekordbox has never crashed for me once in the last couple of years. Maybe thats a mac thing. It's also club standard software and does a lot well when you learn how to use it. I'm not against any other software, the more there is the better the competition is but your opinion seems very biased to me.
I've used all the major programs for Djing and VDJ is the most fun to work with and just so many features. It's improved leaps and bounds from its first iteration. It's a serious contender that DJ really need to take a second look at. And also it doesn't price gouge like some of it's competitors(Yes, I'm talking about you Serato.) And it's very stable, so the argument that it crashes alot is no longer the case. From it's 2018 version to this I've not had any problems with crashing.
@@ruk2023-- Same here may.. Never crashed... My main program is Rekordbox... But in the club that im resident they have Virtual Dj. So i use both of them A LOT, both on mac and Windows!!! Both never crashed in a gig... What i m saying is that Virtual Dj has more strong poinths and of course WAY more features... I mean Rekordbox still couldnt make a playlist with video and audio files untill version 6. Which is ridicoulous!!!! The library managment thogh in Rekordbox is way better except the real file managment.. In Virtual Dj u can magange the real files in the program which is perfect!... I can analyze it even further but that's not the point right here ;) aaaah Yes Pioneer is the club standar equipment for now with their OLD cdjs but if nothing changes, in my opinion Denon will become the new King soon... Way more features and with the new release of their Software it's actually very stable and nice ...

I do like VDJ but always found Rekordbox more universally used and I'm too old to have muscle memory on both of them :) I want to agree with you about Denon becoming the new club standard because they are doing some amazing stuff but I can't see Pioneer not coming out with something that rivals the SC6000 before people need to replace them.

Stems was open source and was allowed on all controllers, its downfall was that producers and labels didn’t want to share their tracks in that format.
I think controllers will be redesigned for this tech. Stem Eq is amazing.

Well, to be honnest the only big player is Virtual Dj... I'm using all 4 of the basic programs (depending on the project i have) and i can tell you that virtual dj is far the most stable, fast and for sure the most innovate!!! Still it would be nice if they built a controller with the Pioneer's quallity and all the staf that VDJ has... For sure it needs a lot of buttons and knobs... lol
You're welcome to your opinion but Rekordbox has never crashed for me once in the last couple of years. Maybe thats a mac thing. It's also club standard software and does a lot well when you learn how to use it.
I'm not against any other software, the more there is the better the competition is but your opinion seems very biased to me.
I've used all the major programs for Djing and VDJ is the most fun to work with and just so many features. It's improved leaps and bounds from its first iteration. It's a serious contender that DJ really need to take a second look at. And also it doesn't price gouge like some of it's competitors(Yes, I'm talking about you Serato.) And it's very stable, so the argument that it crashes alot is no longer the case. From it's 2018 version to this I've not had any problems with crashing.
@@ruk2023-- Same here may.. Never crashed... My main program is Rekordbox... But in the club that im resident they have Virtual Dj. So i use both of them A LOT, both on mac and Windows!!! Both never crashed in a gig... What i m saying is that Virtual Dj has more strong poinths and of course WAY more features... I mean Rekordbox still couldnt make a playlist with video and audio files untill version 6. Which is ridicoulous!!!! The library managment thogh in Rekordbox is way better except the real file managment.. In Virtual Dj u can magange the real files in the program which is perfect!... I can analyze it even further but that's not the point right here ;) aaaah Yes Pioneer is the club standar equipment for now with their OLD cdjs but if nothing changes, in my opinion Denon will become the new King soon... Way more features and with the new release of their Software it's actually very stable and nice ...

@@Wolve_Entertainment Fair enough Can't really argue with that. I do like VDJ but always found Rekordbox more universally used and I'm too old to have muscle memory on both of them :)
I want to agree with you about Denon becoming the new club standard because they are doing some amazing stuff but I can't see Pioneer not coming out with something that rivals the SC6000 before people need to replace them.

More accessible, yes. But.... Traktor stems is greatly more powerful and allows for more creativity. I get it tho, apples vs oranges.
