@@bellafriedman4183 I simply started with my paycheck. Choose your budgeting style (zero based, 50:30:20 etc) then budget your paycheck. Pay your bills, do your cash envelopes, then whatever is left is for your sinking funds and debt/savings.

I am going to make me an envelope for panhandlers. Right now I always feel called to give them any one’s I have currently in my wallet, it’s usually just $2-4 I can give from what I have on hand, we are barely getting by too, more so due to budgeting and not income. But that’s usually all they ask for from each of us, I don’t believe anyone should be homeless on the streets like that. I’m going to start your saving method and pray that one day I can give more because this only happens when it happens I find myself in the opportunity to give.

Ive been attending a local financial mentorship program going on 2yrs. They Mentioned this method which I've heard of before. A Google Ad highlighted your testimony which made me want to took you up. I’m confused…so you take the money out the bank, just to put it back in the bank for when it’s time for those auto deductions? I have too many bills being auto deducted for this.

I’ve been studying some of your videos and wanted to know when it comes to credit cards that have big balances. Do you consolidate the balance amounts and make a goal to pay them off in 6-12 months? So for instance I get paid every 2 weeks and I usually pay the min on them and or pay more to one over the other or do you take a certain amount of cash out to put towards a debt envelope to accumulate and pay the min amount per month. Idk if that makes any sense but trying to figure it out. Love your videos tho so I am doing my best

I found you from tiktok and am new to the budget world. What do you do for bills that come out of your bank account but don’t have a set date? I’m trying to be better on keeping track of bills and one month I see a bill come out one day and the next month it comes out on a completely different day but it’s on auto draft ?? How do you deal with that happening if it happens to you?
So for example some of my subscriptions come out on different dates. So for the first month or so of cash budgeting I just left the money in my bank account. I created a bill “fund” to stuff weekly and just let it add it. Then last week I deposited the fund ($500) into my bank to be a “buffer”. So just in case I pull the money to cash stuff and don’t deposit it on time, the bills will still get paid with no overdraft or anything. Hope that makes sense
