As of today, Randy is feeling great! He has lots of bruising in his groin area and it's still a little sore....but getting better every day. Yay!
I'm so thankful he is doing well! Now go live life. 🙌

My dad cried before his open heart surgery
That was late 80’s early 90’s. He’s in his 80’s now. Randy will be good. Don’t worry
Randy had lots of tears as he was having the heart attack and for a few days after. It's a very emotional situation.
@@WelcomeToMyCurls Tell him it is GOOD to CRY! It is healthy to get emotions OUT. He should have NO SHAME for feeling normal human feelings about a very scary life event.
Universal truth: All husbands look freakin’ adorable in hospital gowns and grippy socks. So glad that the surgery went well and that Randy is now home! Thanks for taking us on this journey with you! 😘

I'm so glad Randy is on his way to healing. I loved his happy dance in his hospital gown! My husband also had a heart procedure a few years back in his early 40s. I'm happy to report he is doing fine and living his life. Continued healing and God's blessings for Randy and your entire family.
You can see how worried Maxi is about his dad! Keeping Randy in my prayers.
So cute how Maxxie cuddled with his "daddy", pets just seem to know! I am so glad everything went so smoothly for him! Now both of you can relax and enjoy your life together!!

He’s so lucky they could do the operation through the groin. What a difference, I had the open heart surgery and four days in intensive care and seven more days in the hospital. Seeing him going home the day after ready to roll is terrific.
Coughing, sneezing hurt like the devil for a good month. And left with a nine inch scar.
Today is July 27 and he must think it was a dream. He seems so happy and relieved it’s over!🇨🇦😘

You guys got this wonderful outcome largely because of Randy's actions at the time of his heart attack. He got to the hospital and didn't wait. I've worked Cardiovascular ICU for 30 years(almost), I wish everyone did the same. Don't second guess yourself, don't put it off. JUST CALL 911, GET TO ER.
I'm glad it went so smoothly, now if he can just be still enough to heal.
I know Randy normally doesn't like being on camera much but wanted to thank him for being open to sharing this episode of your lives with us. My father died at age 45 from a massive heart attack. I was 10 years old. So important for folks to understand their body and health and to get help when needed. Blessings and prayers for complete and speedy recovery.
I decided to go horizontal for this one, as I did no want to be standing…….While I am freaking out watching this video, Randy is behind you, doing a Chicken Dance. Randy has such a sweet kind face. You two make a great team. So glad all went well. Try all natural Arnica cream to help reduce his bruising after surgery. Works really well.

My son had a mini stroke last year and found out that he too had a hole in his heart. This was repaired last December. So glad they can find these and fix them! He's 51 and doing great! Thank you God that Randy and my son, Tim are doing great! God bless you and Randy, Renee!

So glad of this great outcome for Randy. You'll have many more healthy years together now. Thankfully he went to the hospital right off so he didn't sustain any permanent damage and you both can truly put this in the rearview mirror. Fantastic!

I saw Randy back home laying on the sofa and little Mooey behind him, but I teared when I saw little Mooey's paw resting on Randy's leg! Like "I gotcha Dad - I'm right here." Sooo sweet!
So glad his hospital gown was properly closed in the back. Lol. It’s such a blessing we have such great medical attention. I had open heart in 2019 and it wasn’t bad at all. He will bounce back better than new. These procedures are just routine everyday stuff. I never realized how many people get heart stuff done daily. At the time you think it’s just u. He is in good hands. Thank you Jesus.

So glad everything went to well. Anesthesiologists are amazing. They provided such great care for me. I had four surgeries during covid. My husband wasn't allowed to come in for any of them.
Hallelujah!! God is Great! So, so happy this is done and it went well. Thrilled Randy gets off blood thinner too. I have been on blood thinner dor years and can not get off. It makes for a horrible mess whenever you need a procedure or just in general.
Randy is in my thoughts and prayers today - as well as you. Heart issues are especially stressful for patient and family. What we consider "miracles" are performed on a regular basis now. So relax and only positive thinking. ❤️❤️

My husband had quadruple bypass when he was 59, he's 79 now and very healthy, happy your husband is ok, I camped out in the waiting room while he was in intensive care unit and stayed in his room till he was released

Well, I'm way behind, but wanted to let you know that I'm so glad Randy's surgery went well. I've had heart surgery myself for mitral valve prolapse and spent 4 days in intensive care with hoses, wires and anything else you can imagine hooked up to me. But I came through the surgery just fine, and was 69 years old at the time of my surgery. Randy is going to be fine, as I saw all of the prayers that went on for him. Good luck to the entire family, including your doggies. Take care.

So glad Randy is doing well and that darn hole in his heart is closed! Yeah, I agree that taking blood thinners are concerning. If he can be off of them in 3 mos. lucky him! There are folks who need to take them on a regular basis because they are at risk for heart attack or stroke. Randy is lucky he will be able to stop taking them shortly!

So glad you were able to have this fixed. My husband had a small stroke when he was 55 with no pre-existing conditions. he had always been health conscious and was a daily long distance runner completing several marathons and tri events. The doctors were baffled until they discovered the hole in his heart. Unfortunately it was determined that surgery was not an option for him and he has been living with this for the last 20 years. He has had several small strokes/TIA since and we know the next might be catastrophic. We live each day with no regrets and optimism but would certainly have had this fixed if we had the option.

You put a face on Kentucky, heart hole fixins, and the rescue and care of canine. For which I am very grateful. One state mainland I have not visited, gone thru the heart and canine rescue tho. Am so happy to follow you all. You make humanity an honor.

I had a PFO and decided to get it closed July 2013. It did not go so well at first as I coded twice on the operating table but was saved by the grace of God each time. The surgeon still closed the hole in my heart but a few weeks later it opened back up! I don't want to go through it again and I left something changes I will just remain on blood thinners for the rest of my life. I am so happy that Randy went through surgery whale and is doing better
He will do fine.....but anything to do with the heart can be scary. My oldest daughter who is almost 47 now, had a heart transplant 3 years ago and is doing great!! Back to normal......so prayers are going up for you all!

He had 2 TEEs before his heart cath and then surgery. I pray he is doing good today and all procedures along the way will go smooth. The TEE shows it well. Praying fir you today.

My Grandfather (Pop) born 1925 was born with a hole in his heart didn't find out till he was 40 something had several minor heart attacks and some hospital stays but in the end he lived to 82
The love of my life had a Cabbage done and they replaced 6 arteries going in and out of his heart ❤️ He has a new 25 year lease on his life! The medical advances in heart related issues is amazing!!!
