    Ok are u changing pattern every row are two. At first u were doing yo go through one yo go through two. Then chained your two and did yo go through all three right away. Is that the way the rest of blanket? Cause that's the way I have always done mine. Just yo go through all three ar once. Ty. Beautiful work

      I think it was just confusing the first time she showed the hdc. I watched it several times and she does it correctly, but the instruction on the very first stitch was a little confusing (at least for me who was trying to watch and do at the same time) - when she says yo go through one, she is talking about going through the chain. This was my first time learning an hdc and I did the whole thing as yo go through one, yo go through three (after already pulling through the chain loop) 🤣oh well, it still looks nice!

      @@betsysimmons7518, I am right. For an extended HDC you pull through one loop, and then you pull through 3 loops. IN an HDC you do not pull through one, you pull through all three loops. She is doing an extended HDC in this video.

  • @christineabney2288
    @christineabney2288 Před 8 měsíci +4

    Just stumbled across your blanket pattern, love it! BUT....its deceiving. Your title says Bernat but you are not using Bernat yarn at all. You are using a Hobbi yarn which is apparently not as thick as Bernat yarn. I have frogged this pattern too many times cause I am not getting the same pattern definition as your yarn. So it is quite deceiving. So if you have used Bernat blanket yarn with this pattern, what size hook did you use? Ive tried a 8mm, 9mm and even a 10mm and cannot even get close to what yours looks like 😢

    • @DivingDucksCrochet
      @DivingDucksCrochet  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Sarah, it depends off what shape you want the blanket? This one is squared and apx 75cmx75cm, so if you want to add 1 extra skein of yarn, I would maybe keep one the the sides the same and just continue the other way, so You end up with 75cmx100cm. If you want it squared you should try to hit apx 87x87cm. Hope this helps?
