- The building slab is subjected to four parallel
column loadings. Determine the equivalent resultant force
and specify its location (x, y) on the slab. Take F1 = 8 kN
and F2 = 9 kN. Get the book: amzn.to/2h3hcFq
Love your videos they help so much!!!!!
Can the co ordinates calculated resultant force can be taken as centre of gravity of the plane?
Your videos help a lot!
finally found what i was looking for
Thx, great video!
Great videos!
Why do we use the moment at x to find y?
Can we do this in vector notation?
yeah cven1300 checking in
You are a GOAT
Do you still receive problem requests?
Where did -35kN come from?
that's the sum of all the forces and since they are going against the z-axis (or going down) they are all negatives being added together so you get -35kN
why is clockwise positive...
we want everything in the direction of the applied forces to be the same. Pretty much every thing rotating "into" the slab is positive. or you can make everything rotating out of the slab to be negative. hope that helps
0:58 is that a threat ?
