Damn. Been binging on your videos, Jason, and it's a wonderful ride. I'm a life-long magician and I have to say, you're 365 days of magic is so authentic and enjoyable. All that B roll of where you live and work is beautiful! The gracious way you plug, promote and feature other performers is heartwarming. But there was one moment perhaps more than any other that revealed your soul and spirit. While you and a friend were walking down the street a guy passed by throwing potato chips or something at you and others, and rather than call him out or confront him you looked into the camera and spoke for a moment about how none of us ever really knows what someone else is going through and that maybe that guy was having a really bad day. That moment was the most magical thing I've seen you do so far. Keep up the great work and I hope one day we can meet!

Nice timing on this. I just had rotator cuff surgery so I'm down an arm for a few weeks and this gives me something to practice with one hand.... I'll just pick the cards up later since I can't catch them haha

Thank you for the excellent tutorial. I love that it has magic and cardistry parts. I got the hot shot down. Trying to learn ATM by Oliver Sogard atm. I can peel one card just still have to learn how to control the path of the card in air properly.

Very nice, although not to be 'that guy' on the internet, but this isn't actually Daryl's handling of the Hotshot cut - in the original, the top packet gets rotated round by being clipped between the forefinger and middle finger, the thumb at no point touches the end of the deck, and instead takes over the grip from the middle finger to rotate the top pack to the bottom in a single smooth movement. (Also, at the start of the sleight, the forefinger pulls the lower packet down.). That's not to say it's a poor move btw, just you're achieving the same thing in a slightly different way...

Just watching and your 7 of spades became a 7 of diamonds when you were showing your 2nd part how to do the cut while pushing card upwards. So either you edited the video wrong or you picked the wrong card during your cut
