Hello Doctor in the year 2013 of december month my mother was faced same problem then she was admitted in peerless hospital kolkata national neuroscience centre. After 8 hours of operation by dr.P krishnan it was said that she was completely out of danger. Then she had gone through post operative treatment..but few days later rmo in charge said that there was an imbalance of sodium level of the body termed as hyponatremia and she was not responding properly and another few days later there a minor operation of feeding tube was done...and again few days later i had recieved a call from opposite side that she was in cardiac arrest...and she was no more...It was totally a mystery to me still now.
