All I know is Fire, Save Me & BST are all eligible to be nominated since they are 2016 releases. But most award shows don't accept repackaged albums. And as we all know... Save Me & Fire are part of a repackaged album. So with that in mind, I would say we should focus on BST more than we should on Fire.

Honestly, what I'm most proud about our fandom is our perseverance and spirit. In terms of marketing, BTS got huge without media play because the buzz and mouth-to-mouth marketing created by the fans. Do you know why Korea started to acknowledge BTS? Because they appeared a few times on prime time news due to their Billboard success. Do you know how they achieved such rankings? It's not through US debut/promotion, but the high album sale and the amazing buzz created by fans that even reached the westerners. Also, have you seen our effort in putting BS&T on the radio? Requesting people reacting to BTS? BigHit did their job good, but a huge part of BTS' promotion & marketing comes free from the fans themselves. This is why they have come so far in just 3 years without being part of the Big3. Sure, there are downsides of our active vocal, such as ARMYs being perceived as annoying. But tbh I think that it's part of the fandom culture. BTS' music encourage its listeners to speak up. It's not your everyday idol songs about love and break up. So ARMYs, please hold our head up high. I'm actually very proud of being a part of us. All fandom have moles and sometimes ppl crossed that 'vocality' line (hence we need apologist ARMYs too sometimes). But the general fandom itself are actually full of cool, hardworking, quirky people with amazing humor that loves nothing but to spread the love of BTS. I don't give a fuck about those who said 'I like BTS but I hate their fans' or 'this is what pushed me off of the fandom'. I love everything about our fandom as much as I love our boys. And sure enough, even RM said he won't take our love for granted. We're called an 'army' for a reason, guys. Because we're a force to be reckoned with B) (gosh this post is so long lol)

So it’s gotten to the point where I just have to say this. I’m coming back to this MV after watching BTS’s music bank performance. I didn’t want to post it there because of the hate this might receive from fans of other groups.
But BTS just has IT. That unknown, unquantifiable X factor that just pulls people in. I’ve been a casual kpop fan for almost a decade, mostly for the choreography, and no group so far has managed to get me to go past their title track or a couple of songs and listen to the whole album. I’ve gone over a year before without watching any kpop and then gone back to see what I’ve missed. I’m glad I came across BTS because they are now one of my favorite artists of all time.
I’ve seen so many comments on youtube and other sites saying that they don’t understand what exactly makes BTS so special. They’ll talk about their weak vocals, sloppy transitions in their past songs etc. The truth is that there is no technical explanation. There are better kpop vocalists out there. There are other idols who are just as passionate about music. There are groups that as a whole can pull off more difficult dance moves. But at the end of the day the only thing that matters is: are you making your audience feel something? I don’t know how they do it, but BTS brings it every time. It’s like they live for the stage. I show my mom kpop MVs once in a while (she’s a huge Michael Jackson fan so she also enjoys the dancing). After I showed her Dope, she said that’s the first time she’s felt something from a kpop music video.
So whether they break records or not, whether they are hated on more or not, BTS just has it. I see so many parallels between them and my other favorite artist Led Zeppelin. Zeppelin was also hated by their home country and became more popular abroad first. But eventually they went on to become the biggest rock band of the 70s. I feel the same kind of passion from BTS’s stage that I feel when watching Zeppelin. I’m glad that BTS is now finding so much success. I’m interested not only in what they are doing now, but what they’ll be doing in 5 years, 10, and even 15. Sometimes it just takes a little fate (and a lot of hard work) for a group like this to exist.
(Also I just want to make it clear that I'm not trying to bring any other artists down. I also enjoy watching a lot of other music videos and performances.)

Yamishtar I think it has something about how well both groups work together as a group. Jimmy Page always talked about that; he referred to it as an alchemical element. And how their first time practicing together they just knew after one song that it was going to work out. (haha I've read so many zeppelin bios) There's also the energy exchange between the artist and audience. You can feel it even if you're just watching it on video. It's so cool to be a part of this now while it's actually happening though. One day I'll be reading a BTS biography and thinking "Oh yeah I stayed up to watch a fancam of that concert"
This is actually how I transformed into an Army. I was a normal kpop fan a few years ago, only sticking to the popular songs and not really getting into any groups. I stumbled upon BTS on the Finebro's channel and got sucked in to kpop again, they just have this charisma that captivates the audience and makes them more curious. Now I am in love with the grumpy mochi named Suga and never leaving BTS 💓💓
