The craziest thing is no matter how he dunks, the ball goes through so cleanly. No squeeze dunks or rattlers, all just straight through. Best dunker of all time no doubt
Best dunker ever. Not even close. Wilkins, MJ, Lebron, etc. were/are all great but none had the dunk versatility, smoothness, and just beauty of Carter.
I agree completely. Even if Jordan had a higher vertical, how many reverse dunks did he have in his career? How many reverse alley-oops? How many 360s? Vince winning hands-down in these categories.
Lebron is trash. He's just a crybaby, coward, carpetbagger who goes wherever the talent is. Never built his own team and stayed in one place like other greats did. I have zero respect for him and other modern, entitled crybabies like him. Sure he has talent, but I'll never mention him with greats like Jordan, Johnson, Kobe, Chamberlain, Isaiah, Byrd, etc.

I just watched Blake Griffin and Lebron James top 100 and after 10 or 20 dunks each they get boring,; Vince Carter's, however, was just as mesmerising, insane, beautiful, at the 100th dunk. I had goosebumps until the very end. Even the second greatest NBA in-game dunker of all time (whoever that may be) is soooo far away from Vince Carter.

VC had a special relationship with the reverse dunk, he did it magnificently.
Vince Carter is hands down my favorite player of all time. Doing dunks that crazy in the lane, with traffic, in an actual game is unheard of. It's scary how smooth and effortless this man makes it look. Every dunk is thrown down so hard, hitting nothing but net. He's just so damn graceful.
His celebration after dunks makes everything more exciting. He was screaming like "Fuck Yeah!!!"
This man made Top 10 SportsCenter every time I tuned in practically, and usually he was number 1. He be filling in multiple spots on the Top 10.

Even watching him at North Carolina he was the greatest dunker I'd ever seen. Some of his UNC dunks were ridiculous. I remember he missed an off the backboard alley-oop in a blowout game vs Duke - he MISSED - and it's still one of the most incredible things I've ever seen in basketball.
