Pablo, the leader of the group ( the cook in the MV) composed the song. He is a talented lyricist oftentimes using wordplay that conveys deeper meaning to the song. GENTO is a wordplay of two Filipino words:1) Ganito=like this 2) GInto=gold. Pronounce the letter G of Gento similar to how you say gold, with a hard G.
In a nutshell the song is about them and all their efforts and talents utilized to achieve their goals. They cater to multi-genre so you will find many choices in their catalog.
I would suggest you try to react to a live performance, they always sound even better during live performances.
Look for their performance of GENTO at Wish107.5 or at their performance at Vevo Studios. A good on-stage performance is also during the 2023 AAA (Asia Artists Award) broadcast stage official video.
