You should try to see if it will lift the rv, to change a tire
I use a 20 ton bottle jack for that. Our RV would be too close to the limit of this equipment for me to feel safe with that.

I'm pretty sure I said why and said that it works great. Assuming you think that I'm lying and it can't lift the truck then wouldn't you just move to.... I doctored the video and the truck wasn't really on this jack it was on another jack in the background?

The question is how much does it torque the lug nut too? How pounds of torque? If it over torques you can really screw up your rotors.
This isn't designed to be a working on your car in the shop thing, it's for emergencies. You fix the tire, get to your next point where you do a good check and re-torque.
Can you do oil changes with this?
Does it go high enough?
It might but I really wouldn't recommend it. You could get a set of those drive up ramps much cheaper and it would be much more secure.
How to add oil
Mine hasn't leaked oil so I haven't had to add oil. I don't know.

Nice thorough review. Thanks! Ngl I'm weary of these battery jacks. I just imagine getting a flat somewhere & running this up without the engine running & draining the battery enough so the car doesn't start. Lol.
You could also worry about aliens shooting a tractor beam and sucking your tire iron out of your hand also and having to do the tire change by hand. ;) Just kidding with you but at some point you've got to draw the line...lot's of if's and maybe's in your concerns.
@@ReviewsUnscripted Lolol. But seriously, you have any idea how much current these draw? How many runs of this would it take a drain a battery enough so that it doesn't start. Would be interesting test. Bet it'll take a bunch of runs else these probably wouldn't have such high ratings.
@@venividivici6418 Assuming the engine is running the amount of power shouldn't be an issue. If your engine is dead, and you have flat tires, I think you're getting more towards get a wrecker and dump the vehicle that's falling apart. But...they may very well draw a lot of power, I just never had an issue.
@@ReviewsUnscripted Don't think it's too uncommon for someone to instinctively turn the engine off if they're parked & gonna fix something on their car. But like you said you can't legislate for every potential issue. Personally think I'd stick with the manual jack for the road & probably nab one of these electric ones for home use. the whole object of the jack is to lift the wheel off the ground so you can change tyre etc. just shows you cant trust these guys to show it works

It's not fake- I have used it several times this year to rotate tires on 3 cars and it is awesome!
