My thoughts on the latest release from Memo Paris, Corfu from the
Graines Vagabondes Collection. It's all very Rhubarb, Rose and Citruses with Green hints and Floral touches. It's quite good but I feel it's mostly a hot weather wear fragrance. Rhubarb is one of my favorite things in the world. Smelling it brings me back to being a kid and pulling it fresh out of the garden, hosing it off, and eating it raw. Such a gloriously tart note! Perfect when you want a non-citrus/berry vibe, but still a fresh crisp feeling. It is the embodiment of spring for me.
Tart and bitter…I love it in pies but the first time I ate it raw…I just couldn’t. You’re post has me wanting to try it again. 🙂

I was looking for this list - yes yes yes to Hermes Rhubarb - I just wish that it would last a lot longer as it disappears so keen to smell the rest of this list. Tamarindo is another great fragrance from the Graines Vagabondes range.
You must ( of course if you want ) also review Flam from Memo Paris. Going back to rhubarb, I must admit I didn't know anything about it before discovering Zenne from Nishane, but I quite enjoy this note in fragrances.

Rhubarb is truly one of my favorite notes! It's so fresh for me. You have got to try Chevalier Vert by Olympic Orchids, it's my winner for best rhubarb I have tried.

I enjoy fruity scents but I prefer the more warm ones. Fruits with amber, vanilla would be my first choice. This seems too fresh right?

I like the fresh fruity scents. I will try this but seems a bit pricey. I enjoy the Hermes a lot though but wish it lasted longer.

Great review Sebastian! Jo's Rhubarb probably my favourite rhubarb of the year. Simple, cheap and super easy to layer. Already have a backup because it's an oversprayer.

Nishane Zenne is the first fragrance to introduce me to rhubarb, so at this point it has to be my fave 😂 The rhubarb in there is mouthwatering. I’m obsessed with it!

Thank you for reviewing Corfu. I was hoping you would do so. I have not smelled it, but have been intrigued and curious about it. I do own two 100 ml bottles of MEMO Paris perfumes: Sintra and Winter Palace. I also have travel sizes of Marfa and Italian Leather. I love their perfumes but they are very pricey. However, no perfumes are as pricey as Roja, of which I only have samples. I do own 3 Xerjoff perfumes which almost seem reasonable next to Roja. I will order a sample of the Corfu. Otherwise, my next obsession of a bottle-worthy perfume from MEMO would be Italian Leather.
One of the most amazing rhubarb fragrances is Narcos'is by Vertus, it is not light and playful, but slightly darkened by amber gris, so sexy. Also has mango in it. I can not understand why no one from you tube Fragrance community talks about this.
Yep, I want to sniff the Memo potion. The rhubarb note still challenges me, reminds me too much of the first time I ate it raw. However, I’ll continue communing with it. Thanks for the reviews!
yes im a fan of Memo Paris fragrances. a bit pricey indeed. I have French Leather, one of the most subtle and elegant perfumes of rose and suede.
Thanks to you I learned early in my still new fragrance journey about the "insane" idea of BEETS (?!) in a "cologne" (which is what I would generically have called all fragrances then). And I found out I was head over heels for it. Recently I finally got my first exposure to fig leaf in a fragrance. Ehhhh...no. Oh well. The next thing I want to experience is rhubarb in a fragrance. My hunch is I'm gonna love it, the same hunch I had about beets. I instinctively "got" the idea of beets the moment you mentioned it and just knew I was gonna love it. I'm getting the same vibe about rhubarb--a nuanced, somehow teasingly sour-sweet scent, plus the idea of rose getting in there somehow is perfectly fascinating. Definitely gotta pick one to try after a bit more scrutinizing the various possibilities.
I feel like Rhubarb as a note is so flexible. Good for all seasons. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I’ve never tried any Memo Paris fragrances. Delina is a big favorite of mine though, so perhaps I need to expand my rhubarb experience.
I pick up Rhubard in John Varvatos Vintage, though it's done in a darker and more masculine way with Tobacco, Suede and Tonka. Not a hyped fragrance, but definitely underrated with spectacular quality. 👌

It's really nice and tart and fruity. I love rhubarb and am always looking for rhubarb in fragrances. So thanks for doing this video.
Electric Rhubarb is a pure white floral bowb for me, as I like Jo's Rhubarb type more, but I will try that again.
Fruity florals are my faves. I haven't found a memo I enjoyed though.

My absolute favorite rhubarb fragrance is Mon Numero 9 by L'Artisan Parfumeur.

I love rhubarb in fragrances but find the ones I like don't have good longevity. What is the longevity like with Corfu? JM's Tangy Rhubarb is a newer release favorite.
Zoologist Cockatiel and Miller Harris's Lost In the City has rhubarb.

B*Men by Thierry Mugler is a pretty good rhubarb fragrance. It's discontinued though.

Olfactive studios has a rhubarb fragrance. I think it is called Flashback…. Before this that is the only one I knew

I travelled to corfu twice. The perfume doesn’t remind me of this island! Didn’t like it so much!
Memo Paris is very overprice specially for 75ml there are a lot of brands with reasonable prices
L’art de la guerre by Jovoy
The Art of War is a nice, modern fragrance; I have 2 bottles - love it. Vetiver in it is a soft, creamy version.
Thin, sharp, piercing
Not a fan of this note. It's a bit flat and doesn't do it for me much unfortunately. Until I find a perfume I find that I enjoy it featured in I will stay away.

Everything is moderate if it has strong projection and longevity I will mention it otherwise it’s not necessary!
