This is my grandson's last week of school too. It's also his last year of elementary school. Middle school in August. I'm a nervous wreck. Summer break was always so exciting, the best part being able to sleep late. Y'all have a wonderful summer.

My kids are in their 30’s and they both remember how I was there for field trips, class parties, awards day and track and field day. I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything!

I'm going to be keeping an ear out for your hormone update! I can so relate and feel you. I never dealt with the moodiness of PMS, since a teenager I always had extremely painful cramps but since having my 3 kids, like you said I see red for 2-3 days. I can't stand to be around myself. I feel beyond awful. Last month I spoke to my doctor, the only thing she offered was antidepressants for my week of my period. I'm not against people taking medications needed, it's just not for me. I barely take tylenol let alone anything larger that that.

Yes I feel the same our bodies are changing and hormones moving into pre menopausal stuff and your definitely not alone having one child is hard let alone 3 at the end of the day we are only human when we feel like this it’s time to do something nice for ourselves get your nails done take a bath take a walk or drive by yourself for a few ❤❤❤❤

Oh girl pms has always been baaad with me. And still is at age 50 lol. But now I’m thinking it’s more menopause ugh. I can’t win lol

I had a hysterectomy at age 40 but I still have my ovaries so I still have my hormones so every month I get everything still except for the actual period. Oh except no more cramping thankfully because I had severe endometriosis it was like stage four Ugh

@@JamiesJourney I'm 47 now and have been in perimenopause for a couple years (seemed to have started right before I got pregnant with my last daughter - she's almost 4). It's horrible for me tbh. I haven't gotten checked but I plan to now (we just moved). My periods were coming closer and closer (every 3 weeks, sometimes 2 a month), heavy clots, depression I've never felt before, anger and crying, tired all the time, night sweats bad especially right before cycle starts. I've been on my period now for 11 days too (which is a huge sign hormones are definitely not right anymore (my periods have always been 5 days and predictable until now). Doesn't help I'm terrified of doctors. I never imagined getting old and experiencing all this (just didn't think about it until I hit my 40s). I always feel super alone because I don't have many friends my age at all. Busy mom of 6 kids so not many that relate to me to even be friends. BTW, I also have twins (they're 7). :)

I love the nighttime cleaning. When my husband and I first married, he worked nights so I would stay up on Friday nights and clean and do all the laundry. It was great waking up to a clean house and be free all weekend to hang out with my hubby 💕
Also, I totally get the end of the school year feelings. I’m a lunch lady so I get that excitement for the beginning of summer. A little confession…I do get a little weepy when the High School Seniors come back for their Senior Walk Through (I work in the elementary school). It also happens when the kindergarten are practicing their graduation programs. Just can’t explain the feeling. It’s sort of that bittersweet thing. I just have the grown up version I guess. I love watching the babies grow 💕
