- I found a vending machine with mystery eggs - one of these eggs has a key to unlock a prize door of a GIANT rainbow slinky! I spend $20 to see if I can find the key to unlock the prize door of this vending machine! I also open up the mystery eggs to see what prizes and mystery toys are inside!

This was a cool video. As I mentioned in another comment, I can remember being a kid back, way back....lol. Going to the grocery store with Mom and/or Dad. They always had some type of coin machines on the way out. Penny gumballs, nickel gumballs or other candy, bigger gumballs or maybe M&M's for a dime, and then the biggie! The quarter machines. I used to love to collect the classic little plastic NFL Helmets that used to be in the machines back then. It was a little plastic helmet, with the team's logo and helmet stripe on a sticker that you had to put on yourself, along with the little plastic face mask. I used to try and collect every team before the season ended. It seemed like the home team's Helmets were the hardest to find. I lived in Wisconsin and the Green Bay Packers helmet was like the elusive prize you want. You could see it inside, bit you could never seem to get one. They also had other machines with a random variety of items. Anything from tattoos to little robots, rubber đđsnakesđđ, đ·đ·đžspidersđžwebsđžđ·đ·, to little Superheroes figures. Whatever the prize was kids HAD a favorite one that we tried to get. It was like a little prize lottery for a kid. Try your luck, spend a quarter and win a prize! It was fun and I'm sure for parents a bit annoying for them having to dish out quarters to their kids on the way out of the store. As if trying to keep toys and games out of the cart IN the store wasn't hard enough....lol. AAAHH MEMORIES! đ
You should do another whole video and get all the eggs from the gorilla game to see if itâs rigged or not.

This was a great video Matt! I wanted to let you know that last Friday I went to the arcade called Machine Shed in Rochester Minnesota and I played Keymaster and I won on the bottom row an echo dot! I watched your keymaster videos and took your advice and it paid off!

Me and my son used to go to walmart and play a version of this but you used a excavator style claw to grab an egg. You could see vague shapes in some of the eggs and could tell if it was some of the crappy prizes and we were able to clear out all but one prize door. We just left all the junk prizes on top of the machine lol

You should go to the Coney Island New York City arcade which opens in April! Coney Island is a fun amusement park in New York City with a bunch of big arcades scattered around with prizes in claw machines, your classic ticket games, and ticket prizes to cash in your tickets. It opens in April, and Iâm pretty sure New York City isnât to far from Pittsburgh, right?

I see with claw machines when they have the key attached to the prize to win another prize it seems as they have it barried and hidden in the very bottom of the claw machine.
Seeing all these tops and how they spin forever, they remind me of the one from that movie Inception
The top that had nothing to spin it with, you're supposed to blow on it and the slots act like fans and spin it with air

Man those are the worst fodder prizes. Its 2023, there has to be better things to put in for a dollar.
I'd be interested in spending the money to clean out the machine to see if the keys are in there and report the vendor if they are not.
This would be a great video to show little kids why they shouldn't waste their money on these... you could have bought 2 or 3 of those slinky for the same price. I guess the "fun" is what you're buying here tho đ

Oh, wow. I have no idea if this machine has been recently created or completely retrofitted from a machine that's been around since the... '70s? ... '60s? The ancient game had a stiff chicken statue that rotated in 360 degrees as a plastic egg vended.
And speaking of retro. Army men toys. Don't know where to get them. But they have been around since the dawn of civilization.
I once got a key in one of these machines at a bowling alley, inside was a stuffed animal holding a $15 dollar giftcard inside, and I got it with only one try.
While these machines are not exactly dishing out really high end toys. I've seen some comments call it a "rip-off", which in a way is true. It's also a smaller version of "gambling" for kids. Like say a slot machine. Put in your coin and you COULD win THE PRIZE, or you could get a cheap little trinket. Back, WAAY BACK, LOL, I remember going to the store with Mom for groceries. On the way out there were the same types of machines. You had the bottom tier penny gumball machines. Then the bigger gumball machine for a nickel. Or the even bigger gumball OR candy piece machine for a dime. Then there was the $0.ÂČâ” quarter machines. Those had any number of items from a HUGE gumball/jawbreaker, to some oddball item, to my favorites, the little Plastic NFL Helmets. With the logo and helmet stripe stickers you had to put on yourself, and the little plastic face mask. I can remember always trying to get every NFL team before the season ended and they swapped out the machine for something different. Those were great times as a kid. They also had some machines that had a variety of items. Little robots, monsters, rubber creatures, snakes, etc. Also later on they had little people, I forget the name of the machine, but it's been deemed insensitive to use now. Homies I think that's what they were called. They actually work with little Hot Wheels dioramas. Those machines have been a part of our culture, most of our childhoods, and our lives. Yeah they can be a little bit of a rip-off, but overall the machines are what they are meant for........a kid gets a shot at possibly winning a prize. Just like Mom or Dad when they buy a lottery ticket. Just on a smaller scale. But still as fun and as exciting. For a kid anyways.
How about going back and play until you win. That way you can prove if there really is a key. It's already the most expensive slinky!
