Bloody Hell! Sweet playing Chris! You earned your way there.
Please come to Boston !!
I think you'd have fun on the main stage at First Ave in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I've played on it a few times and it was rad. I'd love to see you guys there!
Come to Tulsa Oklahoma!!
Close to Omaha 👀
@@kevinmackfurniture or somewhere in new england
More people are aware of Cardinal Black over here in North America than you realize Chris. Hope you have a blast playing these amazing gigs!
I am 59 years old. I have been watching you and your band Cardinal Black for quite a while now. It is so exciting to see you and Cardinal Black reach stardom. It’s actually kind of weird to say, but really, I’m proud of you guys. I think Cardinal Black puts out exceptional music. It goes without saying, the guitar playing is phenomenal! I have told everybody I know about CardinalBlack. Your success is well deserved and I hope that one of these days I am able to see you in concert. Carry on!
Stardom ?
@@donkeevney Well, maybe not exactly - yet, but it's a foot in the door and a great opportunity for them.
Stardom? we are here to see Cris Buck playing the guitar, that´s it.
@@AndrewBuck86the whole band are talented
@@Tetratwanger yes! You're right!
But, I don't like Cardinal Black.
I only listen the band for Chris.
I love to see you, that guy that explains and discusses as a pro, who influences and plays like he never has done anything else and who has such a great phrasing and dynamics, i love it to see you exited like a kid. So much authenticity, so unapologetically you. Thanks for all that. And, as others wrote: you deserve this, good luck and have a good time over there!
Veeery cool. But based on the thumbnail I thought it was the announcement of the long awaited Chris Buck Signature Revstar!!! Yamaha give this guy a deal!
Bro, those would sell out in seconds. Come on Yamaha
Came to write exactly the same thing mate ! They better get their act together or another company is going to snap him up and we’ll never see a Yamaha sig
Same thought😊
If anybody deserves this, it's Chris Buck and The Cardinal Black! Bravo!
So well deserved! Great to see some people getting the attention they deserve ❤
PS not quite the Troubadour but I’ll see you at Komedia in Bath later in the year!🤘
I get goosebumps every time you launch into your epic bends ... I've been playing for 44 years and your playing is truly inspirational to me ! Straight path to feelings, no detours .. no holds barred ! Amazing ! Please keep doing what you're doing!
Mr. Buck, in my 73 years on this planet (59 of them as a guitar player) you are the most melodic and expressive guitar soloist I've yet heard (apologies to Jeff). Wishing you all the best and I'll be listening!
Be Cool.
Rick, at 75, and playing guitar for 63 of them, I totally agree with you, and about Jeff Beck too!
You’ve earned this and I’m so glad you get to live your dream.
The old adage, "the bigger they are, the nicer they are," really does apply to Chris Buck.
What a talented and humble man.
Much luck to you and the band in everything you do.
Whose adage is that? Dolly Parton's?
I never heard that so called "old adage"! If anything it's the opposite, and since I toured myself for over a decade, the opposite is more often true in the music industry, and it's way well known in the world of business, making the few that are cool stand out more. "Don't let the dazzle of the exception, obfuscate the ugliness of the rule". - Me, just now.
@@Bob-of-Zoid I agree.
@@Bob-of-Zoid I asked my wife which guitarists in the bands she saw were nice and she said she didn't know she only slept with the drummers but she'd heard a lot of them in the 70s were nice to children
@@michael1 Oh dear!
I had a harder time peeling the bass player off me than the groupies!
Many Congratulations! I well remember you, Tom & Adam appearing at The Troubadour London.🎸🎤🥁
Just wanted to say how happy I am for you and the band. What a wonderful milestone-thanks so much for sharing, and all the best for the show…
Slash is my favorite as well, and I can hear his influence in your playing with the absolutely crazy melodic lines you throw in your solos. Slash is my favorite, but you're the one I try most to emulate in that sense; you've taken it to your own level. You are your own amazing player at this point.
Cardinal Black deserves this! They are the total package IMO. Songs above all…and they know how to squeeze the most from these soulful tunes! Can’t wait to see y’all in Nashville!
Stumbled onto you via the algorithm a while ago and, by coincidence, you are also a favourite of our son who lives in LA whom we are visiting in a week or two and, YES, we are going to the Troubadour gig! Really looking forward to it!
Congrats, Mr. Buck! The way you play didn't come without a very high level of dedication - it sure make sense to me that you're selling out venues!! 👍
You and the band deserve all this and more Chris, it's repayment for all your hard work and dedication to your craft, well done! Wish I could get to ANY of your shows, but sadly I can't, 😭. Good luck to you all. 👍❤️
Brilliant Chris, I hope the Troubadour boosts your profile in the US the way it has for so many others that you mentioned
Congrats on your upcoming US debut from north Texas! Cheers!!🍻🤠
I have followed you and now Cardinal Black for a long time and as a welsh man I am proud of you all, i hope to see you live sometime soon as you have been such an inspiration in MY playing style . Well done in the usa i'm sure you will continue to grow in popularity all over the place, Take care all safe travels and many many gigs to come
YOU !!! ... keeping it alive Chris, rock on.
The live CD arrived this week - killer sound, kudos to the engineer - turn it up loud its like being there!
Absolutely exquisite player in all respects: tone, control, technique and originality. It’s humbling and inspiring to watch you perform, Chris.
Congrats on the Troubador show in LA. They’ll love you.
Congratulations, Chris. Achieving one of your dreams is not something everybody can say they've done. Your's and the band's hard work and talent is really starting to pay off. Saw you in Guildford back in April '23, & looking forward to seeing you in Falmouth in November 😀
Selling out the troubadour is an amazing achievement. True reflection of your and the rest of the bands amazing talent. I am so pleased for you all. Looking forward to seeing in the UK soon.
Hey, congratulations Chris, a humble admirer from Perth Australia here, been watching your career with both interest and good wishes, you are a uniquely talented player.
Superb. Recognition well deserved. Bravo!
Absolutely chuffed for you and the band. Played the Memo Live CD on my way from Newport to Barry this morning. I was at that show. Enjoy your time on tour.
Everything you own, you've earned. There's only one David Gilmour, only one Slash - but if I could have the chops to play like someone, it would be Chris.
Bravo and here is to all the success you deserve!
Everytime I hear Half Way I'm reminded why I love this band.
Chris, I will be seeing Cardinal Black at the Troubadour on the 18th of July! I live in San Diego and have been one of your biggest fans for going on 2 years now. Your playing in your intro videos never fails to send me to an emotional place. While I may not meet you, I'm greatly looking forward to bearing witness to you playing in person, no less at a place that holds such reverence in your heart. Cheers to you and the fellas, and I absolutely cannot wait to see you man!
Awesome, but so so deserved. Cheering on from afar ..... Portugal
You all, absolutely deserve the support and recognition you are getting.
Well deserved, Chris. Have a great time. As a fellow Welshman, I'm proud of what you're doing.
I'm Welsh too and old but you have elevated my sound and style in a way that only David Gilmour and Rory Gallagher have in the past . Thanks for lifting my playing out of a rut❤
Congrats, fully deserved. I wish I would be there. Rock on!!!
Lovely to feel how a dream comes true. Be yourself, play as yourselves and it will be wonderful.
We all make our own history. You & the band are on a trajectory that’s well deserved.
Perhaps one day Cardinal Black & Joe Bonamasa can share a stage here in Seattle.
Best wishes and keep rockin with those magnificent riffs & solos !
Absolutely brilliant news, it's taken you and the guys many years of shear hard graft, but finally you have made it. My husband is an avid guitar player who has taken many inspirations from your weekly vlogs and has continued to improve through them.
Again, massive congratulations to all of you and the best of luck with the tour.👏👏👏👏
Congratulations, mate! Your trajectory is right on target. Great to see true rock bands find success and yours is well earned and deserved.
I'm over the moon for you and Cardinal Black with exploring new frontiers in the U.S. Dulcius Ex Asperis 😊
Enjoy every moment and perform your hearts out as you guys always do. Do it for your families, friends, fans, and yourselves.
If there are negative comments, unless they contain any grain of constructive criticism, these types of comments don't deserve your attention. Not one bit. Always remember that your shows are sold out because people love your music.
Go have fun in the U.S. Always sending you guys good vibes ❤
Congratulations! Well deserved!
Chris, I've been a fan of your playing and videos for a couple of years now! Congrats on your upcoming tour to the US. Can't wait to see you play in Nashville next month!
Lots of love from Australia Chris!! Hope to see you perform one day.
Congratulations on the American shows. The nearest show is 10 hours away. Good luck and God bless you, the Band, and your families.
Same. I thought long and hard about trying to get there but there's just no way.
After seeing you guys play in Chester a few weeks ago, it's so well deserved. You were fantastic, and not just you chris but the whole band.
So looking forward to seeing where this journey for you all ends up heading. 🤟 and for everyone else going you wont be disappointed .
Im having a drink every time you say Troubadour. Somone get me a stomach pump! Only messin man, killer video, stoked for you guys! I'm looking forward to watching you guys later in the year!
Excited for you all ! You can treat yourself to a nice new Squier Sonic for these shows ! Truth is you’d still be stunning with one of those ! Humbucker on the bridge mate , all you need 😀🎸
I’m driving from Las Vegas to LA just to see you play at Troubadour on the 18th. Can’t wait for the show!
Greatness doesn't like to be constrained. Awesome seeing this happen, wish I could attend.
You are one hell of a player, Mr. Buck. Hats off to you.👏
Congrats Chris! Well deserved:)
Great personal story Chris. Thank you for sharing and so pleased your dream of the US Troubadour is coming true. See you in Nashville!
Congratulations Chris
A recent convert after the morcheeba gig amazing player and band
I genuinely think your the best guitarist I’ve ever seen and look forward to Shepherd’s Bush in October Good luck in the US and the troubadour 💪
You rock. Congratulations on your success. Well deserved. Looking forward to seeing Cardinal Black at the Troubadour,
Hi Chris, Congratulations on achieving one of your life's goals. I've been a subscriber to your CZcams site since 2020, at least. I look forward to your videos every Friday. They have given me guitar lessons, gear reviews, musical history, and a little insight into being a professional musician.
Living the dream, Chris, Well deserved..!!🤘🎶🎸
That's massive! Really happy for you guys! It's a shame you're not playing support for Myles Kennedy in Vienna 😢 would have been an absolute monster concert in the Arena in Vienna...my favorite venue here!
Couldn’t be more happy for you. You deserve this and much, much more.
Yes I’ll see you at Troubadour 🤌🏻
Well deserved mate. Love watching you thrive. Best of luck to you and the rest of the band.
Congratulations 🎉 Chris and band. So happy for you! Come to Australia please!
Geat playing! Amazing tone and oh so tasty licks.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I've been waiting for you guys to cross the pond for nearly two years. I don't think I've ever jumped on tickets as quickly as I did for the Nashville show. And the response just illustrates the beauty, and one of the few positive things, about modern social media. Because of it, you're able to reach people worldwide.
I, for one, am glad of it. See you in a couple of weeks.
See you there with 600 like-minded fans!
Same here! I discovered them during Covid. I’ll be there!!
So happy for you. And the people getting to see you. Got a Revstar, and love it. Go you guys! 🙃
I bought my tickets for the LA show back when you announced it! I'm excited to see you all there!!!
Ive been watching your channel for a couple of years and am so very happy for you. Playing the Troubadour is HUGE and so cool! Congrats and here's to the start of a huge fan base growing here in the USA!
All that’s left to say is: Congrats!!!! You deserve it all!!! 🎉🎉🎉
You deserve every second, Chris. So happy for you.
Good luck, well deserved and I hope one of your dreams lives up to all it's expectations. Have a great one, see you back in Wales soon.
Last night my wife surprised me to tickets to your Cambridge show in October and I am beyond hyped!!!
Really wishing you and the band all the success with the American shows!
Congrats Chris and CB, hope the shows go well. Looking forward to catching you at Sub-89 in Reading later in the year.
I discovered Chris when I was researching my first Revstar back in the Gen 1 days. Chris inspirationally pointed me in the direction of the 502t which started my love of the guitars, Buck & Evan’s and Cardinal Black. CB deserves all the successes coming there way. Can’t wait for an Australian tour one day.. 🙏🇦🇺
Living the dream, really happy for you Chris
Hope to see you in Italy one day!
And yes totally agree that venue for you must have been an unbelievable experience.
TBH I think you guys deserve it!
Congratulations to you & Cardinal Black. You deserve all the best of USA.
I'm so happy for you and your band. I wish I had taken my talent to the next level all those years ago. We decided at the time to keep our day jobs. So aftrr all these years at 59 years old now I remain a happy blues/rock guitarist still jamming, mostly in bars or at parties. Good luck to you I really wish the best for you. So from Philadelphia pa, I say take care and keep rockin", Bob👍✌
My goal was the Whisky in Hollywood and I know that feeling all so well to play a venue you have always wanted to play! I am glad to see the response for you and the band great music well worth the listen.
Well done Chris and the guys, richly deserved! Saw your great show in Chester recently, how the hell you aren’t playing the main stage at Glastonbury is beyond me. You would storm it!😁
Nice solo to start the vid. Love your note selections Chris. Your style is quickly becoming its own.
I’m going to try to make the Nashville show, it’s a few hours away but we’ll worth it. I’m cheering you on!!
I played with my band at a local town hall, in the northeast Scotland as I was playing my drums I noticed pictures on the wall of bands that over the years that had played there, and there it was a band called the Silver Beatles on the same stage I was on, Paul McCartney and John Lennon and George Harrison and Pete best a real wow moment. I’ve been a fan of the Beatles since I was 3 years old when first heard, love me do
Congratulations.. Break a leg and succeed making all your your dreams come true!
USA is a huge country. Wish you guys toured some more and came down to Florida. You guys are gonna kill it.
Congrats! I'm very happy for all of you and am certain you will kick butt and have fun.
Love to see you play. I hope the USA treats you and your band/fam well. Best to ya.
Absolutely well deserved, Chris! 😎🙏
This is a massive milestone, you'll never forget this one 👍
Mark this video for a review in, say, 5 years time - it'll be fun whatever happens 😜👍
Congrats Chris! Truly a dream come true. I wish I could make it to the Nashville show. Please as much as you can, do your best to relish the moment. Also, please come to back Nashville in the near future✌🏻
Well deserved, wishing you all the best. Live at The Memo has been playing on repeat since I got it - thank you for all you do.
Congratulations Chris. I wish you all the luck.
Best sound to come out of the UK for many a year. Great effort and all the best for the USA gigs. Need to see you in Australia soon.
This is great news, congratulations! Keep up the great work!
Congratulations!!! Enjoy your success!!! We enjoy your talent!!!
Your dream!!! Booom! You did it🎉🎉🎉🎉
A hearty welcome to America! Hoping you make it to Houston next time!
ordered! shipping was as much as the CD - hope enough ends up in your pockets. You guys rock!
Congrats dude! driving up to Nashville for the show from Atlanta. Looking forward to it!
I didn't year you play in a while until this video.
Most things in life surprise you in the nicest way when you experience them for the first time. Plot twists in movies for (the shawshank redemption for instance) have the most impact when you see them for the first time, right?
But not with your playing, I sort of knew how good it was, and still am blown away again, time after time, it's ridiculous. Your phrasing and emotional projection through the guitar is absolutely top notch. I don't think that besides Mark Knopfler I've heard a player capable of getting the guitar to sing like this, complete madness.
Love your work!
