Hey Harry! Been struggling with "life" recently however discovering your channel and watching your videos has brought me some respite in a difficult time, thank you. I also started running in February and have since set two PB's in the 5k and 10K with my aim to run a sub 50 mins 10k very soon! :)
Awesome to read James, keep it up and thank you for watching the videos I create
Harry
Good to confirm the fastest/slowest parkrun algorithm “works” here :)
Absolutely Tim, thanks for watching.
I wonder if you've done much research on what would count as 'hilliest parkrun' - most elevation one assumes.
Hoping you're doing well Tim
What an electric orange turn-out. I'm a lone orange beacon in my far-flung Scottish parkrun, but it won't stay that way. Excellent production as always.
Finally Harry runs a parkrun in a time I can beat (on tarmac, occasionally).
Didn’t fancy a run today. Harry uploads and off out I go for a 10k. Type 2 enjoyment!
This is a big part of what it's about
More than just a view, but a real world change
Keep smashing it
Harry
I enjoy every video because its like a mini documentary, plus fancy dress! Mom & I are visiting Scotland later this year and I've scoped out Park Runs to go to thanks to you! 😃
Great to read Jaqui? If I’ve remembered your name correctly. Scotland is a fantastic country for scenery
That looked like an insane place for a park run. Great job finishing in that crown. Jog on, King Harry!
Great video Harry. Thanks for giving The Woozby Nerberts a shout out 😁👍. There's actual some Jog On orange starting to infiltrate the Woozby camp, but I'm not allowed to wear it on Team days 🤣👍
Still interested to know the history of that name. Cheers for coming along guys
In all honesty, the name is literally complete nonsense, purely because it was near on impossible to think of a sensible name 🤷♂️🤣 We've decided to start making up odd stories for the names origin just to try and make it interesting and keep people guessing 😉😁
When you in Bristol Harry…?! Come do one of our Parkruns 👍
Pop by every once in a while, always post on the JOG ON Instagram if anything comes up
I love watching your videos and seeing the great community you have built up for running. You’ve inspired me to run my first park run in the Fall!
It goes without saying that the content is always first class, however, the outtakes at the end always make me smile 😃 another fantastic video Harry 👌🏻
Always worth watching until the end in case of outtakes
Thanks Vikki, great photo recently in the JOG ON top too

Got my 1st park run at Exmouth tomorrow, I’m glad I found this page before hand!
You should check out Somerdale Pavilion parkrun near Bristol. It’s known as the curly wurly parkrun and is one of the strangest courses I’ve seen!
Thanks for sharing. I got a PB at Gorleston Cliffs ParkRun on Saturday, which is just a few miles from there. Maybe I’ll try Great Yarmouth soon. No way I’ll get a PB there though.
Just finished my first proper race, the Leeds 10k at a sub 50 pace, discovering your channel has started my love for running and I'm now aiming for a half marathon next year!
That’s awesome to read. Very well done in Leeds and wishing you every continued success with your running
Living in FL I'm very familiar with running in the sand, been doing it my whole life. Fortunately we don't have the rocks, so you can run barefoot if that's your thing. Good training though, and certainly makes running on tarmac seem much easier. Congrats to Harley and the rest of the Jog On crew for a great run.
Missed my local parkrun today, but had a chance to regain some of that friendship and camaraderie through your video! Thanks!
Harry, respect for dragging your carcass eastwards to run this event. I’m tackling it at some point in July and not relishing the gruelling burn. I’m down in the South West also during July so might do Woolacombe for comparison
Another fantastic video Harry. We all massively appreciate your effort and the motivation. Thank you.
Thank you Paul, this was a lot of fun with some wonderful people, thanks for always being there when I publish what I make

Great video!
I like to think our local Parkrun (North Bay, Ontario, Canada) can be both the fastest in the world and toughest in the world. In late spring through early fall the course is a fairly straight, paved, out and back with minimal elevation (speed!!!). In January it may have 20cm or more fluffy snow on it though and we have done a few below -20 Celsius days (slow, and frozen eyelashes!!!).
I hope to do some Parkrun tourism as our kids start leaving the nest and we’ve got a bit more flexibility.
Great video Harry, always love the videos. Keep up the great park run videos ❤
Try Flatts Lane in the north east, we have Heart Attack hill which you have to do twice
Watched that, sitting in the sun, and now my legs are aching. Extraordinary!! A brilliant and fun vid as always 👍
Reminds me of our Big Bay parkrun in Cape Town. Stunning views yet very character building. Great video
Cheers Heinrich - parkrun has really kicked off in SA in a big way
Thanks for watching 🙏
Is that the only place in the kingdom where the sun was shining on that day? Sideways rain made me glad that I had chosen watching the coronation on TV over volunteering.
Awesome job mate
Thank you for showing amazing sights to see.
Hopefully I can embark on a Parkrun tour in the future. There’s only one near me in the United States on the west coast in California but I’ll be visiting family in Canada and trying a Parkrun in the Toronto area. Cheers!
Great to read this Matthew - would love to run a parkrun in Toronto, hoping you enjoy it!
Cheers for watching the JOG ON videos
Another great video Harry, thanks for putting in the effort to go all the way there.
Only recently has the Thames Path parkrun been set up near me so I've managed to start going to one regularly. Recommend you give it a try if you like the Thames.
Thank you for watching, it was a great experience. Awesome, hoping you enjoy it
absolutely buzzing to ticket this parkrun off my list. says with a hint of sarcasm
Now you need to come to Australia to run The Beaches parkrun at high tide. Super soft sand the whole way.
finally managed to do this park run today- decided to make it even slower by doing it barefoot- was very cold, but a brilliant parkrun to participate in- my slowest time ever (personal worst or PW), yet highest position at the same time
Great video Harry and absolutely loved Harley’s contribution! What a little star he is. Great to see the growing Jog On community 🥰🥰
I did the Hafan Pwllheli Parkrun towards the end of last year, thta was hard enough, didn't help the tide was coming in at the time either, as soon as you feel like you're getting some momentum you lose it as you hit some loose sand, good fun though
The guy that handed you your bar code is ira Smith he's a very interesting man with a lot off running stories he was one of the first men in Yarmouth to complete a 100k run and nearly run a 2:20 London marathon and had ran all over the world his garage is a shine to running also he a loverly man oh and great video well done 👏
Love that Ian, thanks for sharing. Amazing the stories that can come out of these videos
Also I'm about 19 episodes into your podcast and really interesting it's good to have variety and there plenty off that with your pod cast very enjoyable
That was great Harry!
I wonder which UK parkrun has the most elevation...?
I ran Durlston 2 weeks ago and they claim to be the hilliest. The other contender would be Whinlatter Forest, but Durlston took my time from 21 mins to 26.33 and I didn't walk so I'm hoping they are right as I'm running GYNB and Whinlatter in August.
Did this a couple of weeks ago and it was so soft that 25:20 was 1st! You’re not exaggerating how tough it is 😅
I did Durlston last Saturday and it was awful. I may wait a while before I do Woolacombe and Whinlatter
With these it’s often about getting the pacing correct.
People often love to seek out the tougher ones
Another top videos Harry, I'm running/plodding here in August, any conclusion re running along the water line or further up, I noticed you swapped on 2nd lap or both equally horrendous?
A great point - simply that it was very difficult on the first lap so figured we'd try a different approach on the second, it turned out to be no easier whatsoever - it's tough wherever you run at GY!
Makes me wanna throw up everytime i think back to running that, horrendous on the legs.
Portland, Chesil Beach would be comfortably the slowest parkrun in the UK if they would allow it.
Why don't you go to burger King and claim your free whopper since you are dressed appropriately??
I tend never to ask for a like in the video, but some say it helps the video. So, if there’s one thing you’d like to do in return, it would be that. Mainly though, thank you for showing up when I publish my work.
Go for that run.
Harry
How do you run a sub 21 5k
Hi Harry, first off, absolutely love the channel, I’m primarily a footballer but run to keep fit and your videos really inspire me to do that. Not to mention how entertaining and funny they are.
Just wanted to write a comment and let you know about a really talented and young runner I came across on CZcams the other week. Her name is @isabellesparkle and she is unbelievable for her age. Thought it might be cool for you guys to do a collab some time.
Anyway, thanks for always putting out brilliant content Harry!
@@RhysRuns Judging on your question I suppose you are close to it. What I did to lower my pb was to allow myself to run hard in some runs. I imagined I had a mid week parkrun and I gave it all. 1-2 times every week I tried to push a bit extra and try stuff. Don’t do it too often though because if you are not recovering then you can’t get the extra push you want. Also Harry had a vid on warmup before running a 5K and without that info I wouldn’t have made it to sub 20 and now chasing sub 19 with a 19:05 as pb. Good luck
@@laurenhailes316 thanks for the comment and hoping you continue to enjoy your running moving forwards, cheers for watching the JOG ON videos
