The best X men character to connect to the Avengers is STORM. She was a childhood friend of T'challa and the both went their seperate ways to find themselves. I believe that she could have a reason to look for T'challa or Wakanda and she can the. also introduce remaining X men more organically.
Also if not endgame it could work in Black panther sequel as he could have flashback of his childhood pigrims across africa where he meets Storm and how she help form the values which he holds today.

I still believe that the best way to bring all the mutants into the MCU is to have a small population of mutants already exist; especially those with older backstories like Prof. X, Wolverine, and Mystique. After the Snap, all the stress and trauma that the remaining 50% experience causes those with dormant x genes to begin mutating. If there is a time jump in Endgame, it could be shown in later movies that in between IW and Endgame tensions rose as mutant awareness became a thing. The Morlocks start congregating, Professor X begins recruiting, etc. After they undo the Snap, the other 50% is returned to a world where mutants are growing in population.
If they show any hints of Wolverine in Endgame, they shouldn't use Jackman, even as great as he is for reasons that the show has already outlined.

So, seems like we're talking *four* major topics here
1) Adding mutants to the MCU
2) Adding Wolverine to the MCU
3) Adding Hugh Jackman to the MCU
4) Really bad top 16 list
and I've got thoughts on all of them. *Most* are related. I can see two major approaches to retconning mutants into the MCU's history. There are *many* ways a McGuffin like the Infinity Stones can handle this, so I'll just focus on what doesn't seem like lazy writing. Warping time-space like this is actually a major risk of using the collective might of the Time and Reality Stones at all, let alone together. Thanos thought he could handle it but was wrong. *Alternatively,* they didn't cause changes, they *revealed* past changes, and started to undo them. Could be a great setup for another baddy; the MCU we know is actually the remains of the "true" MCU. All the stuff unavailable due to licensing issues? Pocket realities fragmented off of the true MCU.
The other way is simple; until recent, high profile events combined with modern real-world technology, all this stuff *was* happening, but no one believed it. After all, various deities plus magic are now real... but also revealed to be not quite what we thought. Mutants and Inhumans may be two sides of the same coin, like Eternals and Deviants. I don't know whether the MCU have Kree science as the source of "superhumans" or just something seeking to control and exploit the work of something else (like Celestials?), but either way, mutants are just Inhumans that don't manifest due to Terragen Mists but "naturally" when the genetics are just right... or wrong.
Or they can be their own totally separate thing *but* were mistaken for more of what was known to the scientists of the day. Given how many powerful organizations and even individuals in the Marvel *Comic* Universe want to control mutants (or everything in general), having some success for at least a while isn't a stretch. The Weapon Plus/Weapon X program could be introduced in this manner. *Note:* My knowledge of the MCU is woefully incomplete; let me know if something in a film like Captain America: The First Avenger precludes this. Several X-Men "baddies" could easily justify being introduced as heavy hitters if they are introduced in this manner, and that includes actual mutant characters as well. Charles Xavier, Magneto, Mr. Sinister, etc. have essentially been part of a "mutant cold war" and may not even be the firsts to do so.
Anyway, all of that provides sufficient setup, at least to me, to just bring in James "Logan" Howlett as Wolverine. The X-Men are just *yet another* group of superhumans that didn't "pitch in" with major events because "reasons". I mean, *doesn't that help explain mutant hysteria?* People freaked out when Inhumans became common knowledge... now it turns out there is *another* group of superhumans who have been hiding in plain sight? Oh, and they've been operating as paramilitary groups for the last 60 years! Lovely! O_o Hugh Jackman shouldn't remain as Wolverine but... there has already been enough time travel/reality warping incidents that, if the "new" Logan looked enough like Jackman, Jackman could just come in as Old Man Logan. I don't recommend that, though; given how Jackman *redefined* Wolverine in part because his portrayal was often un-Wolverine like, just find another character for him to play, and not necessarily just a cameo *or* a Wolverine Knock-Off.
Finally... that Wolverine Knock-Off list is... weird. I want to call it "bad", but having read the full thing, it makes good points. A lot of my concern was how loosely it seemed to be using the term knock-off but... nope. Character creators went on the record of admitting a character was Wolverine-inspired, which makes sense as some of those characters weren't just knock-offs, but full-on spoofs.
As a way i think hugh could join, atleast in an end credit scene, is just we see a back shot of wolverine coming back from being dusted, then once he’s done, he pops out his claws as it cuts to credits
Edit: Wolverine exist in the original Xmen movies and the "reboot" version, also the "r rated" Logan version. They can literally put him in anywhere and everybody will understand.
It won't be that hard to introduce him really. If they just want him in the movie, it can be done in so many ways.
1. Most likely he'll be in the mid credits scene or end credits scene just like Captain Marvel in the last movie.
2. He could introduce the X-men to the MCU. The Avengers have crossed with the X-men many times. The next villain could be Xmen based and wolverine could be an introduction to that story line. Magneto, Apocalypse, Friends of humanity.
3. The dusting affected the entire universe. If they ever cut to conflicts around the world, it would be easy to fit threads into a movie that big.
4. Wolverine knows Captain Marvel and they've worked together when she was in the airforce.
5. They can use any version of wolverine, X-23, or any other character. Look what they did to Quick Silver and Scarlet Witch. Those are Magneto's kids but in the MCU they have different origins. Literally anything can happen and work.
Lastly, let's remember that this is the MCU and only a few characters haven't been done justice. Quick Silver and Hawkeye come to mind. But in any case, wolverine will end up fighting the Avengers most likely. He'll have his own agenda, he'll be a loaner, and it won't be wolverine from the other movies. Maybe it'll be the same actor but I don't think the older story lines will come into play besides maybe a subtle reference here or there. Just my prediction.

Because the MCU is more "grounded in reality" he can't do as much as he'd do in the comics or in the animated versions. The acrobatics and the high flying moves would make him look almost super human. So he and Black Widow are more....human then super hero.
For #4 i think you mixed up captains. Logan knows captain america from the army. I dont recall him working with captain marvel in the air force. I could easily be wrong though.

Remember the actress of Pepper Pots? she said shes gonna be in the Infinity Wars movie like it was a big deal, but when the movie came out, she had like only 5-10min in a scene? Maybe Wolverine will be in a small scene like in X-men: First Class.
I think in the credit scene part in avengers endgame should see the X-Men’s shadows and fantastic four shadows just to show that they are coming in phase 4

You're on to something by having Hugh play a character. I think they need to start fresh with a new actor as Wolvie, but Hugh coukd be related in some way, maybe as that Hudson character (Vindicator from Alpha Flight).
If it’s actually having any wolverine in place, there is a chance it may suffer a BatVSups syndrome, just there for the fame and name, unless there is a fair plan which makes his role as a background character. i.e in the background in a montage for a large fight in many places you see his claw marks and a piece of the suit torn on an annihilated alien group.

They could do it 2 ways... The fist easy way, In the midst of all the choas the damaged skrulll goes through some various transformation of various super beings, as he turns his back towards the camera the skrulll quickly makes one more transformation before sercumming to his injuries, he turns into a man with iconic hair and claws coming out of his fist before reverting back to the dead skrulll, all of that would happen quickly ( for added Easter egg, the dead skrulll would actually be Hugh Jackman in skrulll make up).
The other way, the Antman thing, during Antman movement through those universes, we see a cameo of various characters somewhat silhouetted , one of them pops out claws. After the whole ordeal is over end credits, etc, we see a guy from the back sruggling away holding his head in confusion, he falls to his knees and screams as claws pops out of his hands. The camera wouldn't be close leaving it open to use any chosen actor for the next direction of the MCU.
Okay. I rushed it, but I think both of those could work.

Buuuuuuuuuttt you do realize the casting is make or BREAK. If they majorly screw up the cast of who to be wolverine then they will ruin it. In my own opinion Tom Hardy would be a good wolverine as he fits a comic accurate build and could pull it off IF he can nail the accent as his American/Canadian isn't the best as shown on Venom.

I’ve got one for ya. What if Wanda, in a fit of rage during End Game throws off so much power that mutants gain abilities.
What if how they bring mutants into the mcu is, because half of the population how about when they get 50% of the population back, they come back as mutants. This would help with the mutants ages (magneto etc).

I may be mistaken, but aren't Old Man Logan, and Wolverine both in the comics at the same time due to messing with the time line? With the time stone being used there could be a ripple in time where old man Logan is there, and they introduce young Logan at the same time. This could also be a way for Jackman to pass the torch to the new Wolverine.

-I think that list was terrible because most of those characters were more Sabertooth knock-offs. I'm mean look at them. The teeth, the sharp fingers, even the feral kind of look. MOST of them were more Sabertooth, then Wolverine.
-Of course Wolverine hasn't been in the Marvel movies in any way because Marvel has enhanced humans and Fox uses mutants.
-I say Wolverine is an Easter Egg when the Avengers are going through a type of portal with MANY "holes" to other dimensions and you can see one with Wolverine and the X-Men fighting in it. The Avengers might not going into that dimension, but it shows that there is a way for the X-Men's universe, with mutants, and the Avenger's universe, with enhanced humans, could come together. BOOM! MINDS....BLOWN!!!!!!

What if this time they have the first credit scene of them coming back from being dusted (as a silhouette ) and have wolverine just say some like that bub actually did it then professor x comes rolling in and says i guess we've been hidden long enough implying professor x has been hiding mutants cause the world wasn't ready then do a solo movie where they talk about the x gene
and how powers are emerging and of course have deadpool in it make a few references to the fox stuff no matter what good or bad people will see it just for deadpool and logan (them and the professor are the main characters)

Some of my favorite Wolverine team-ups are Logan with Spider-Man. Post Thanos I could see X-MEN being introduced slowly with the first couple of sequels coming up like Guardians with the Shi-Ra and Brood or Spidey and Wolverine. When it's established with the audience that those characters exist in the MCU, X-MEN get their own movie and mutants get outted to the world. They hit some newer comic stories like House of M until it leads into a phase 2 or 3 with the culmination being something like AvX. If a guest appearance is in the movie I don't see any way they could use Hugh Jackman or that it's not a post-credits teaser.

I could see the xmen showing up as they beat thanos and everyone comes back, and Deadpool holds up Hugh Jackman's head and makes a joke about his healing factor not returning...
My idea to intro the current Deadpool and Wolverine is to have the next deadpool movie begin with a major world ending X-men event where we see the FoX-men being killed off (in brutal and hilarious ways within Disney standards). Deadpool and Wolverine attempt to use Cables time travel device to save the day (DP makes a DoFP reference) and we get a spectacular quantum leap montage parody with DP and Wolvie in different scenarios until they reach the MCU universe. The film deals with them attempting to save their universe while their memories start to fade and adjust to the MCU ultimately ending with them saving their universe but no longer able to return or even remember it.
That would be funny Hugh playing Striker lmao
I guess if and when Cap comes back in time and stay there to live his life with Peggy, maybe Wolvie could be there as a member of the Holwing Commando. Cap says his last goodbye, goes to the dance and everyone is happy.
And then, at the end of the movie, we have an action pack mid-credit with Cap and Wolvie running toward the enemy.
Heres how i would add wolverine into the Mcu, in the end credits scene have a wounded outrider (assuming they have a battle somewhere in North america) make its way into the woods to a log cabin and you see a door open and a hand slam down a bottle of beer and wolverine claws pop (movie ends)
To make wolverine in Mcu , take one of the howling commandos from captain America and boom ties to cap and we know he’s super old and a fighter . Maybe show a scene from that war where he takes on those flamer troopers so they can escape and when he returns he’s badly injured slowly healing but not fast enough and by using a rare metal that they where going to upgrade caps shield too infuse it into his body giving him the metal claws.
They should use the wolverine story. where because of him the mutants were made.

Since we know Chris Evans won't come back as Captain, we might see a funeral scene for him and Hugh Jackman could be in the crowd or he could be the taxi driver that drop the new Wolverine, which would introduced himself as "an old comrade of Captain"

Dan is great and works as a good foil to Rob and Benny. He needs to up his storytelling game if he is going to compete with Rob. Love the show, keep on entertaining us guys.

Easy explanation for why he’s there can be borrowed from the X-Mn Evolution universe, wherein during WWII, Cap and Logan liberated the concentration camp Magneto was kept in as a child.

They didn't explain Spidey. So why would they need to explain Logan? Also it could be old man Logan who is getting involved due to X Men members being lost due to Thanos.

While I agree with everything pointing against hugh Jackman being in endgame I personally wouldnt mind if through some dimensional travel old man logan shows up helps out and then at the end as hes going back to his dimension he says hey you might wanna check out this school in upstate New York and then we later find out that Xavier has been using his power to hide mutants

Alright. Theory time. Endgame ends with scarlet witch losing control(the russo's did say her power would come in full force after infinity war) and she pulls a house of M, but all she says is "More" hense forth bringing the mutants into the mcu But instead of logan we get his son from the ultimates universe(1610) james howlett. Same concept Dan had with daken but with james howlett you would still get the "good guy" persona.
heres how you add wolverine, its the beginning of the movie and theres a cut to a man looking a a mansion with dust flowing throught the windows and then at the end of the film when the snap gets undone we see the same man drinking a beer in the mansion when a ball headed reassembles from dust onto a wheelchair that was in the room , the man turns around facing the bald dudeand the bald man says logan as the camera pans up and shows wolverine
