WHY??? Why would anyone throw a kitten on the freeway??? Please share.

- This is just unbelievable! Loreta and I just completed the rescue of Josephine and her babies, and as we were getting closer to Los Angeles, we received a text about a kitten on the fast track lane in the opposite side of the freeway.
It took us 45 minutes to get to the rescue location, we parked illegally, opened the windows for the dogs, and ran about 200 yards to the spot where the kitten was laying down.
Once we were ready, Loreta Frankonyte and I broke into the freeway and stopped traffic completely! Not knowing the kitten's state of mind, I told Loreta I will approach from the front so he can see me, and she will surprise him from behind.
The plan worked perfectly, and people were really happy to see us save little Napoleon :-)
The little guy was sick, had an eye infection, he was so skinny, and I just have no idea how he could have made it to that side of the freeway... he was too weak to move, and there is just no way he could have crossed 6 lanes of traffic alone... someone must have done it to him!

I was so impressed by that and it made me think again about the actual importance for a lower speed limit everywhere... here in Germany that wouldn't actually have worked, you'd have to call to police to stop traffic on german Autobahn, bc people are driving so fast, it would be too risky to stop for anyone all of a sudden. You'd have to carefully slow down the whole traffic before stopping it completely.

This is one of the best rescue ever, the fact that they can stop the traffic is cool and they actually stopped their car. Despite of the person who through this precious little one in the freeway, may God forgives the person who did that. Happy to see the lil one playing and happy hehehe

We were driving behind a truck doing 45-50 mph when they threw a little black kitten out the driver's side window. We managed to stop in time, and block traffic until we caught her. She was 6 or so weeks old. By some miracle, there wasn't a scratch on her. She got a clean bill of health, and after a few days learning that not all humans are jerks, she's now a member of our family.
I will never understand why those people chose that for her, but I'll never regret being the car behind them that day.

You can see the joy in Loretta's face whenever they make a rescue, and after making this one it was no exeption. There was no way that kitten got over there by himself, he had to have been thrown. whoever did it is not human, not even an animal, it was a monster.

Whoever dumped this poor kitty...I want Karma to bite them bigtime! Damn!!!!! Years ago, we rescued a kitten that was thrown out of a car (60mph) trestle, 80ft off the ground. Oh, and it was Christmas Eve, dark and icy. We loved her for 17yrs. We have two special needs homogenous albino pups who were dumped two years apart, in different mt. passes, surviving a long time. Both born deaf and blind in opposite eyes. The oldest is now 15 1/2yrs , 70lbs(totally blind for 5+yrs) and the youngest, now 11 1/2 yrs. 55lbs. We love our babies !

celticmandoplayer my mom have a friend and her friends neighbor had a cat that was pregnant but then the neighbor moved and left the cat on the street and she was still pregnant. My moms friend found the cat and she took her home, the cat had her kittens and she was so happy because she had kittens before but her old owner drowned all of them. Now she has 5 beautiful kittens and we actually adopted one. It’s unbelievable how people can be so cruel (Sorry if there is any typos, I’m from sweden hehe)

I actually found my cat this way, me dodging traffic. Had to have been less than an or two old, with the lid still over his eyes. I was hurt someone would take his life so senselessly. I decided to keep him and I named him Lucky. It was for sure a learning experience. I think it was 36 hours later, he opened his eyes. At the moment, we looked at each other, and from that moment I was hooked. I wasn’t a cat guy, but I needed a friend at the time, and we hit it off. I wasn’t able to let the cat even outside for probably a year year and a half mainly because I lived in a traffic area and I was afraid I would lose him, to even another animal. Over the next seven years, he became so unique and we knew each other so well, I had only train dogs before, and I’m not sure if it was our time together, or that I trained him like a dog, but he even surprised my friends. The place where we live, I stayed because it felt safe, and I knew everybody. And there was no traffic and it was nice for Lucky and I. A neighbor I’ve known for over a year, and I even told him the amazing way I found Lucky about a month ago. October 23 he knocked on my door, said “your cat is dead, he is dead!” He was evil looking, silver eyes, and said Lucky lunged at his dog and walked off. I was devastated. The cat was covered in dirt, but I was not calm and losing it. I took him to my vet for cremation and to look at the body. They said he was bitten 30-40 small tears and a few fatal. I started to realize it was intentional, evil, and premeditated. When I found him, someone tried to take his life senselessly, and this time, evil did take his life senselessly. County animal control and sheriff could not do anything. I have hired a lawyer to expose this evil, and filing court house etc. This was the most pain I’ve felt losing an animal. How it was done and the amount of time my best friend had to suffer....that is my worst nightmare. Worst part,I was a few weeks from installing my camera system for security. I loved him so much.

I did exactly the same on a freezing November rush hour morning from the Jersey shore to NYC. Highway divider, tiny kitten huddled between North and South traffic. I shouted STOP THE CAR to my husband. We could've been creamed, truck horns blaring, people cursing, we only had the hazards on. I got out, poor thing huddled in fear, grabbed her & we got back in traffic. Stopped at McDonald's & got her a sausage egg sandwich. She had to stay in the car all day & my husband carefully opened the door & scrambled in. Couldn't find her anywhere. He finally opened the glove compartment out of hopelessness & she was curled up napping. She climbed in thru the back of it. "Maria" lived 17 years. 😢💞

My family was driving down the street to
the store once. We were behind a medium sized
car. After a few minutes they threw a cat out the passenger window.
I told my mom and we immediately pulled over. We were lucky it only had
3 or 4 scratches. When we got to the vet to make sure it was ok, they told
us she was pregnant. I got very angry that minute that someone had threw a
pregnant cat onto the street. I want to throw that person on the street so
they know how it felt. She had healthy kittens that all found homes.😺.
There names were Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn. It worked because she had 3

My cat was thrown out a car window when he was two weeks old we had to bottle feed him and we couldn’t even tell his gender his name is rio and he is the sweetest cat ever he is still alive and well today! After all these years, this is still one of my favorite rescues. Only a precious life can bring a freeway full of traffic to it's knees. Of course that's what we do here. We are so cool!

I really like this channel and can tell you guys are really saving animals because some other animal channels, people hurt the animals then record and pretend like they saved them and actualy they are just torturing them over and over. It’s sickening. But I know you guys are actualy saving animals and I am so happy about that!!!
