- Somehow, dozens of canned specials turned up dropped by Jelletons on this floor. Combined with Pearl being able to do Inkstrikes, and once those canned specials started dropping, each Triple Inkstrike could defeat enough Jelletons for more canned specials to drop, allowing me to pretty much battle using mostly Triple Inkstrike and Pearl Drone Inkstrikes for the rest of the challenge.
Though I practically carpet-bombed the Jelletons on this floor, it wasn't every floor I was able to pull it off. Things just kind of came together for me here.
(And yet, this run STILL didn't yield me enough Prlz to get that Pearl Drone headgear from Cipher.) - Hry
I like how the Side Order weapons start out weak but by the end of each run, they often put the Grizzco weapons to shame in sheer deadliness. Good thing the Order weapons used in multiplayer are just replicas...
The Marina hacks also beef up the weapons considerably. I chose them over the palette chips for the Agent 8 run.
This is the future Tentatek Splattershots want. Imagine how much less fun this would be if you couldn't charge special until after all three strikes had gone off, like Tenta Missiles.
I would dread having to go up against someone with a trail of Inkstrikes!
I'd have liked to see your Palette for this floor, but you got a fair bit of Mobile Special Charge (presumably from the Mobility bonus chips), which lets you charge the special gauge just by moving. That's how you got your first special off so quickly. The number of canned specials dropping tells me you should have had at least one Canned-Special Drop chip as well.
Tip for Prlz grinding: try to get as many same-colored chips in a row as you can. Same color chip bonuses add up a lot. And of course there's Risky Rewards if you're up for a challenge.
It was an unusually large number of canned specials for me, considering I only had one Canned-Special Drop active at that moment. At no other floor did I see so many at once.
