old arms, new hands

i've been thinking about how making music has changed for me lately, and it makes me so warm to think about how much i've grown in that sense. I began singing covers of my favorite songs because it was all i knew, i didn't know someone could write a song and feel so full and in love with every aspect of their own thoughts, dark or light. When you write and you make whatever you're going through into art, it's so fulfilling and whole. I love singing songs from my favorite artists, but i've realized now how i need music in a different way to feel content within the art i create, and in that i couldn't ask for anything more.
heres a poor recording of a song that i hope to record when my workload dies down
