I am an old woman....but The Good Lord gives the knowledge that Remedy will grow right outside your door.....STOP USING PESTICIDES/HERBICIDES...my yard is a jungle....and I love it. I am so thankful for you Dr. Patrick Jones from the Homegrown Herbalist School of Botanical Medicine.
I used this over the past three years to help with the “flu” and to detox. It’s wonderful!
Here in Indiana we call it Sweet Annie. I love the smell and even named my horse after it. I never knew how beneficial it is. Thanks for the video.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate Doc's "dad-joke humor"? LOL!!!!!!
I love Sweet Annie! A gardening client wanted me to dig it out of her herb garden many years ago because it was getting too tall. When I went to discard the “weeds” and debris at the end of the day, they smelled so good that I rescued a couple of them from the compost pile. And I’ve had them ever since! I’ve made door swags and wreaths with them once they get the little yellow balls. I only learned a year ago that they are medicinal! Love it!
Can I just add here that we used a tincture of sweet Annie, along with mushrooms like lions mane, Chaga, turkey tail, etc. and a keto diet to significantly reduce the size of my husband‘s stage four, IDH wild type glioblastoma from the size of a baseball to the size of a small lime in about three months time! We have his MRI’s to show this. I would love to see more research done on Sweet Annie and her benefits when it comes to malignant brain tumors.
It would be very interesting to hear about Artemisia's effect on cancer- I understand that extracts can enter the cancer cell, and cause it to explode due to it's effect on the iron in the cancer cell. Normal cells do not sequester iron in this way.
I've been fascinated by this plant since we lived in East Africa 10 years ago. We used artemisia and neem to try to prevent malaria but weren't successful. But those of us who have used it for the past three years have still not had the virus going around.
Sweet wormwood has also been shown to be effective against hemorrhagic fevers such as Marburg. This is why I grow it and keep it in my home green apothecary.
I love how you rolled out the carpet for her.
❤This is a wonderful topic especially now that they're doing great things to help the African people to fight malaria. It's an amazing thing they're growing Artemisia more prolifically in Kentucky and they will be taking out the substances that will attack that disease better and put it in a pill form and God's Word says that "The prudent man will not neglect the MEDICINES that grow out of the ground for the service of mankind." Ecclesiasticus 38:4
You're such a good communicator 😊
