Suddenly i have the urge to industrialize my room
You gotta keep the workers quiet then mate.
@@darkii4978 my ants in my room will need to work in the factories
@@Mathi-nv4gq Pay attention to riots. I- I speak... from experience.
@@darkii4978 they will have to work for the queen(me) or they will starve to death
@@Mathi-nv4gq Did you just invent communism?
Felt cute, might industrialize later
France: Going to fight Germany, I'll post the video later
France: Dude, I got my ass kicked, I'm not posting that shit
We all know that no one is chilling to this music. WE MUST INDUSTRIALIZE. DAMN THE CONSEQUENCES!
Exactly. Well said.
Huzza! may we die from the thick smock our factories produce we shall not give up this is our calling “Liberty or Death”
Revolutionary thought
The gears of progress wait for no one!
came to chill, stayed to industrialize
You don't know how much I love this. Since I was young, Vicky 2 use to captivate me so much that I was capable of starting a game the afternoon of a Friday and finding myself at 5-7 am of the Saturday discovering I had not even eating in straight 12 hours of playing, let alone thinking about sleep. With the years, I found out that Paradox soundtracks (i.e. also CK 2, EU) in general gave me that boost of focus -so much I became conditionated to them-, and now whenever I have to work on anything that requires a bunch of time and concentration I just put the playlist of any of those as I do whatever I have to do and so in a single night I'm capable of finish what normally would take some days.
Bruh same here, I practically earned my MA because of the Vicky 2 soundtrack.
@@sebbird08 you earned it by blood alone.
I had the same experiences with Vic, also with Hoi4 and Civilization 3,4 and 5
@@TrondelagianPatriotsriseup aha i see what you did there you lion of the north
Never became conditioned to Paradox osts. But Stellaris Ost and HoI was a constant companion during studying up for things.
British soil is so good. It is making me tear up.
Then stop eating it
Long Live Boris Johnson
@@trygveblacktiger597 🤣🤣🤣
Benedicte is my favourite up to now, but British Soil is excellent too!
I rode out on a bright May morning like a hero in a song,
Looking for a place called England, trying to find where I belong.
Couldn't find the old flood meadow or the house that I once knew;
No trace of the little river or the garden where I grew.
I saw town and I saw country, motorway and sink estate;
Rich man in his rolling acres, poor man still outside the gate;
Retail park and burger kingdom, prairie field and factory farm,
Run by men who think that England's just a place to park their car.
But as the train pulled from the station through the wastelands of despair
From the corner of my eye a brightness filled the filthy air.
Someone's grown a patch of sunflowers though the soil is sooty black,
Marigolds and a few tomatoes right beside the railway track.
Down behind the terraced houses, in between the concrete towers,
Compost heaps and scarlet runners, secret gardens full of flowers.
Meeta grows her scented roses right beneath the big jets' path.
Bid a fortune for her garden-Eileen turns away and laughs.
So rise up, George, and wake up, Arthur, time to rouse out from your sleep.
Deck the horse with sea-green ribbons, drag the old sword from the deep.
Hold the line for Dave and Daniel as they tunnel through the clay,
While the oak in all its glory soaks up sun for one more day.
Come all you at home with freedom whatever the land that gave you birth,
There's room for you both root and branch as long as you love the English earth.
Room for vole and room for orchid, room for all to grow and thrive;
Just less room for the fat landowner on his arse in his four-wheel drive.
For England is not flag or Empire, it is not money, it is not blood.
It's limestone gorge and granite fell, it's Wealden clay and Severn mud,
It's blackbird singing from the May tree, lark ascending through the scales,
Robin watching from your spade and English earth beneath your nails.
So here's two cheers for a place called England, sore abused but not yet dead;
A Mr Harding sort of England hanging in there by a thread.
Here's two cheers for the crazy diggers, now their hour shall come around;
We shall plant the seed they saved us, common wealth and common ground.
This girl is from the game's cover page! Vic 3's cover page is probably my favorite one. Unlike other eras full of monarchs and generals, this game is about the people. WE, the ordinary people, are the protagonist of the victorian age, just like the cover page, an ordinary man and women representing billions of us.
As a fan of lofi music, I approve of this new thing companies are doing where they upload something like this before the launch of their games.
After listening some more. Hoped there actually was some Lofi version of the soundtrack. Still good music tho.
Quite curious, have you heard of this game before?
@@user-kt4vn8le5p Yes, played the earlier games before. I am gonna get this one as well, I just love the time period. If you have questions I might be able to answer any if you wanna know something specifically.
@@TheMetalfreak360 Does that include Victoria 1
I wonder how are they going to make lofi HoIhop in 2026. All the music in HoI5 will deffinetely be patriotic as heck.
She's left-handed!
its a new age man new age
Hearing this makes me want to be "Jacobin Rebels"
beats to revolt to
based
British, right? 😉😅
The music is great, and the title is genius!
I like "Vic-Hop"
Death March playing makes her look like she's writing a formal declaration of war.
lmfao
the music for this game is a perfect representation on the victorian age. dark and yet still hopeful. the entire team designed this beautifully. so excited to see what they have come up with!!!
Asset gathering is a master piece
Patrician taste
I love it too
I've been waiting for this game for so long... Almost ten years... Finally, it is a few days before release... World outside my room is crazy: wars, viruses and wars again... May this game teach us that world could be a better place if we will come together to prosperity and happiness without bloody conflicts, but solving important and vital problems itellectually and cooperatively! Peace and love to everyone here!
Or that at the end of the day, for every wise or cooperative person there are a handful of others that live just to one up others. Either you suppress them, silence them, or let them taint your utopia. However a person fashions their utopia, it remains one for them and a small handful of others. For everyone else it is dystopian.
People here speak like they are going to play the game without casus belli their neighbour every 5-10 years.
world is just world. lets conquer enabled slave and get prosperous !
@@hutlazzz 0 population had signed up to be a slave this month.
There are still wars in the game, and not like there weren't wars in the Victorian era
My bf plays Victoria all the time and I grew to like the music pretty much. So now I'm here, listening to it alone, to feel like he's playing beside me.
10/10 Would industrialise again.
Something about the Victoria games fills me with such hope, I don't know how to describe it. Maybe because unlike other Paradox games Vicky doesn't fizzle out by the end - instead I feel like those last couple of decades as your nation matures into a modern society with all the requisite hopes and dreams attached, are the most exciting. I end every game of Victoria 2 feeling like no matter what, the future is ever-bright.
*Laughs in World Wars*
Instead of fizzling out, Victorian era goes out with a dreadful bang
and gas, a lot of gas.
@@hanselsihotang I see dead people in your future...
...
Jesus christ, that's a lot of dead people
All's well until your economy absolutely smashes to the ground with face and starts digging even lower because you forgot to change your production focus from booze to food for 3 weeks
Funny you should say hope. Doom and gloom were all pervasive during the 19th century, for various reasons.
I don't think a left handed schoolgirl would have much future in the 1800s
I know I'll be listening to these tracks for hundreds in-game hours, but before that I'm still going to listen to them here
Just noticed the gun partially hidden in the newspaper. Nice touch Paradox
01:08:12 Most soothing Death March I have ever relaxingly chilled to. Sublime. 10/10. Would exasperatingly sigh my last muffled and choked dying breath as I shuffle off this mortal coil seizing uncontrollably in the throes of agonizing pain and death again.
Peeeeenis. Something. Peeeenis. Soooomething.
Amazing soundtrack! PDX never ceases to amaze me with their music!
Yeah, music is always on point.
I am happy they use a true orchestra for them now. That changes A LOT. I am very sensitive to this
It looks absolutely stunning. The art direction really reminds of the likes of Studio Ghibli.
Nice to hear the Prince Albert adapted to Vicky 3, but I really wish we could get Royal March / Independent march later on. Those are The 2 songs that play in my head when I think about Victoria. A day at court is a close 3rd.
Adagio for four strings is actually too beautiful of a song. Well done Paradox
This + the remastered Vicky 2 OST is such a W. My wish is that moving forward for DLCs we get era by era music to accentuate the stakes and pace of the late game (1900s+) and more regional conflict music (aka songs of the US Civil War, Ottoman Wars, Japanese expansion, or Russian Civil War).
Great idea. I would love it. As it was in Civilization and other titles. Advancement changes music.
Don't get your hopes up for any "wars" ... I dunno if you saw, but paradox cut wars out of the game
@@delpheus7658 Did you read the devs logs ? There are wars but different from other paradox games (and in my opinion, more suitable for Victoria 3)
P-S: I am not comfortable with English so if there are mistakes, blame Google Translate.
@@codionfr7932 Google translate seemed to work perfectly lol, indistinguishable from an English speaker
@@delpheus7658 I don't know if you saw either. They are.
I love the title and artstyle
These tracks make me feel like a citizen of a steampunk/Victorian city who runs over the brick roofs and, having arrived on the highest one, watches the sun set over the factories, dreaming of exploring still unknown places on earth.
This gets me sooo hyped for tuesday!
Literally replayable.
Omg. Goosebumps! ❤ Can't wait for Tuesday! 🤩
In love with the Ghibli aestethics. Remind me so much of their classic "steampunk" works, where the theme of the consecuences of industrialization in both the "political" sphere and the day to day life are a subtle theme.
I love this feeling of starting an adventure when I hear this music
This is simply awesome! Thanks for this and a Stellaris one would be really cool.
Asset Gathering is stuck in my head since I heard first time... WHAT A MASTERPIECE.
OMG I love the art!
I love the waltzes. Those were always my favorite songs in Vicky 2
The cartoon loop reminds me of early 2000s PBS, like Liberty's Kids. Good times, brings me back.
I love you paradox! Great work! Great games! Great music! Greetings from Germany!
this will probably sound silly, but i can't express how happy i was hearing some of the Vicky 2 songs during the Japan & Prussia livestreams
19:40 England 1850! Such a clever writing! Thank you for having a composer who worked with an orchestra !
Just beautiful
Truely the greatest video on CZcams ever. I'm listening to this while playing victoria 2
I’ll industrialize to this
Absolutely fantastic
Hell yeah this is content. Can you make one with the remastered tracks too.
love how chill and industrialize are words with meanings that are worlds apart, but somehow here it makes sense XD
Awesome! I'm so excited for the 25th!
62 hours +/- a few for actual release time!
Or just 47 times to enjoy this mix. :)
I haven't even listened to this but I love other LoFi chillhop - Great idea on this one
let in...LET ME INNNN :D cant wait, it'd been good to do a live countdown on this playlist
Listening to "Rule the World" fills me with a sense of hope and purpose. I love that PDX can instill such emotion into their music.
that's just so beautiful...
There something about this setting that make it cozy. More than the any other setting. You just want to sit in a house like this looking at train running by
cool. sounds in the spirit of the time
i just noticed i was not logged in... and there is no adds... so you basically give all this for free? i love you guys!!!
Amazing! Epic! Classic!
Beatiful. Makes me want to play the game now.
MORE TEA IS NEEDED
Can’t wait to be listening to this while I am loading the game and cooking dinner.
Amazing.
Glory to the Queen…
I love you so much for this xD
This cat is true titan of the industry, and of course good music paradox
Can't do my work without this
I have an odd feeling making me transform my house into a tools industry rn
the girl is currently writing the first version of "Das Kapital"
Moonlight Waltz is a masterpiece
How would I not like this
Great! Just need the LoFi now...
19th century is underrepresented period. Not sure how it works abroad, but in my country all we got was "Yeah there were 2 uprisings, some industrial stuff, read one book that has 800 pages, but talks about romanticism, not the industry that much and now we move to interwar period" That's why I really love games like Anno 1800 or new Victoria, because they give you that feeling of growth. Wooden ships became made of metal, building raise from steel, farmers start using tractors, woman get rights, people are still able to explore the world, but now with flashy mdoern tech, elevators, planes, Alaska belonging to Russia, crazy stuff man. The socioeconomic changes in this period are far more interesting than 95% of history textbooks, change my mind.
good one paradox, gonna get me industrializing like its 1899
You are the best!
love it
Listening to this while drinking tea
Ha, I didn't even notice the gun at first!
this is much better than normal lofi, not too depressing.
I get to know this music artist via Hoi4 and these musics are really great too!!
beautiful sound track! I mean, this isn't LoFi Paradox but it's still great. An actual lo-fi flavored version of these songs would be absolutely fire yet oh so chill. 🔥❄
...
Someone should make that happen. *wink wink, nudge nudge* *Paradox*
It's a bait, lofi won't raise the urge to industrialise
Moonlight Waltz is my best one.♥
Who doesn't feel like expressing their ideals in the search for a progressive future for their country with these great songs?

"Industrialise to" hahahaha loved it
"Tea Time" is my personal favourite, sounds like one of the Vic2 soundtrack
Kinda a day at the court
A beautiful backdrop to accompany my opium exports
oh man i cant wait to spend so many hours in this game that i lose my job, my family abandons me and my life spiral into chaos
Love the title!
Tea Time is an absolute banger
Can't wait!
I love it, its awesome, amazing music and incredible game, thanks paradox.
I love this. I love Paradox.
Qué bueno!!!
15:23 : thats a very brilliant song. There is a real gap in music from Victoria II to Victoria III, and you even have a professionnal orchestra on this. Thank you, much better !
I love this more than I should it is my new work sound track
This is a genius move
Aaahhhh this is so good haha
