I really like reading all the comments and stories everyone has written. not like most things I read about. I've always had cats, just love them.. nov. 29th, 2o22, I lost "my missy-missy" to a violent death. for 1o years she put up with me. we'd been through a lot her and I. her friendship, love and presence never waivered. when I was down, alone and had no one, she would come to me for rubs! I believe she really knew me and understood. I also believe she was the only one on this planet to love and care about me. you might think that's pathetic or stupid, I don't care. to me it means, I'm still here.
I wasn't with her, protecting her when she was attacked and killed. It gets to me and I never want another cat.
I take care of a lot of homeless kittens now. this music is one of my best "finds" It helps us all

I played this for a kitten we rescued she was being chased by dogs and was full of fleas . We kept her for a month hoping she would adjust then we could take her to the vet and she adjusted quicker than we thought. We got her vaccinations, dewormed , and found out she was less than a month old when we rescued her. But then she fell ill of an fever at 3 months but we took her at the vet at time . She got well after some time. And now shes a healthy 5 month old kitten relaxing as she listens to this sound. 😊 🐈😊

My cat was in her last moments, I was right by her side and its really painful to see her suffer. She couldn't breath properly, and would vomit from time to time. I couldn't take it anymore and told her that its ok to go, she can take a rest now, that she had suffered enough, and i said my goodbyes. Then I played this and just after five minutes she took her last breath. It really terrified me to just see her breath, her movement.. stop suddenly. Thank you for this. It is a beautiful music.

@@relaxmycat she was always weak so I couldn't really play with her but my favorite memory of her is when I got home crying and went straight to my bed and she got up to me, sniff me then lick my cheeks and lay down beside me, it was the most comforting thing ever💔

@@sheena5399 my tortie cat would do the same thing. Her name was Hannah and she was my little sweetie cuddle bunch. She passed away 7 years ago from lung cancer. This is very unusual for a cat to get (I don't smoke). I saw my neighbor using a weed poison in one of her favorite sleeping spots just before she got sick. She couldn't breathe or eat properly and I was feeding her with a syringe. It took me 2 years before I was able to think about her and not feel like crying all the time. I stopped wondering if it was deliberate. I remember the happy times playing football with a small soap stone. She had a mean hook! The times she would lift the window latch with her paw and then look at me expectantly. Waiting for me to come home at the bus stop up the road. She knew exactly when the bus arrived she didn't need a timetable. Meowing at me to get up after sleeping in on a Sunday morning not cos she wanted food but because she wanted to play! I try to remember these times instead.

I adopted a sick paralyzed kitten today from a woman who found him laying on a side of a road, he was bitten by a stray dog, He's currently on my chest wrapped in a heated blankie like a purrito ❤ there is a good chance that he might cross the rainbow bridge in a week or so and that reminded me that some people who rescue and adopt sick animals get incredibly sad that they couldn't make the precious life live longer but i wanted to remind you that, instead of comparing the animals short life with yours, realize that for them you were their everything you gave them the love and care they couldn't receive their entire life before you came into their sight, you were the reason they received a loving day/week/month/year before crossing the rainbow bridge in peace surrounded by love. And that means the world to them even if they can't tell you. Keep doing what you're doing ❤ love you all.

Just got out of the woods of a very serious liver failure scare with my 9 y/o Siamese that I raised from the bottle. Have been grudging the eventual prognosis and trying to cherish every moment I have with her.
Got great news today that her liver values are finally improving and should live a lot longer.
Just want to express my gratitude for all the comments;I will be sure to appreciate every moment I have with her.
Update: Jasmine passed away due to brain cancer in early November. We cherished every moment we had with her and were very sad that she passed, but we know she’s in a better place and her memory will live on for the rest of our lives.

Cats get really stressed when they’re taken out of their environment (even if their owners are present) so it’s double stress when it’s done without their owners there. The best thing to do is keep them in their own apartment and just have someone you know or a pet sitter (use a reliable website with reviews/ pics) come feed them/ keep them company a bit. Even if they can’t keep them company just coming over to feed them is enough to keep them less stressed than taking them to an unfamiliar place. I know people whose pets have passed away from the stress of being kept in a shelter while they went on vacation. Hope this helps!
@@rebeccaalmeida2905 I'm very awear of this. Unfortionately I live with my parents, and they staunchly refuse to hire a petsitter despite my pleading with them every time. I've shown them reputible sites, I've suggested we could even ask a neigbor we know well if they wont trust a stranger. I've explained why a cats teritory is important to them, explained the risks. But they just don't budge.
It breaks my heart and stresses me so much whenever they put her in a shelter. Knowing how much stress it causes her, too much stress for an older girly.. I cant help but be so worried the whole time whenever we go away :(

This is amazing. My 14 year old cat gets a lot of anxiety. I prayed for him massaged his back , played with him but then he was anxious meowing again. . He was pacing back and forth and meowing in distress . I'm a woman of prayer and I for a moment felt so helpless. I asked the Lord to help me help him when the thought dropped type music for cats with anxiety. At first I was like naaa there bo such thing but I typed it and found this. The moment it started to play everything stopped. He literally went under the bed to his little favorite alone time spot cat bed and he's there calm. playing for my 7 years old cat. She has renal failure and we'll put her to sleep forever tomorrow. I don't know why i'm writing this out here. she came as a tiny stray kitten. i think she believed, loved and understood us. she has enormous faith in us, she is sleeping peacefully through laboured breathing. while i'm sitting by myself wondering how to calm myself down tomorrow. music isn't gonna help. i dont think i'll be able to put away her bowls, beds or toys... might consider donating them. or might not. at some point, we have power to kill our loved ones at the name of humanity... i hope its the right thing to do. i would put her before my emotional needs any day. and i dont think i'm ever getting a pet. i have seen vets literally sawing through her limbs and belly for saline channels, i've held her, scared, bloodied, trembling yet trusting that i wouldn't hurt her. i have seen her look at me with pleading eyes as the vets punctured multiple places looking for veins, her look was of fear and at the same time, hope, that i wouldn't hurt her. it hurts, very much, very very much. and i hate people who pretend pets dying are pretty nonchalant business. well... at least i'll stand with her as they put her to sleep. she deserves watching people whom she trusts and loves.

I am an old lady who has had fur family all my life, and it is never easy to say goodbye. We never stop loving them and missing them, but the loss becomes easier to bear in time. Perhaps you can at some point open your self to loving another kitty who needs a caring person. Prayers that your heart be comforted.

Having been playing this from some hours and my cat crossed the rainbow bridge few mins back!! Have been trying to save him from last 5days, going to hospital daily to get medication and injections. Feeding him by hand all the time. Few hours back, the champ finally decided to ate by himself without any help and ate two jelly pouches, got up like a warrior to go toilet, drank water as well onw last time. But the champ finally said goodbye, moved to heaven and leaved me with just tears. Rest in peace champ!!!! The way I was not giving up on you and trying to save whatever the way possible, you also tried really hard like a true warrior to stick with me in the last few days. In the end, you decided to leave and become a legend to stay in our hearts forever❤❤ Rest in peace!!! Please forgive if I couldn't take care well of you, specially in last many days, I will see you on the other side someday, and mend everything I couldn't do for you. Loved you always, loving you and will love you & miss you always!!! 🎉

My heart goes out to you. I'm sure the music helped him transition peacefully. I miss my baby boy Spaz so much. He was a Ginger Siamese, passed in 2016 at age 8 - He suddenly was sick - it was FIP and there was no cure and it took him within days. He was in hospital with tubes in him - they agreed to take the tubes out and let me spend 15 min with him in an office room before they put him to sleep. I held him as they gave him the 3 injections. One to calm him, one to put him to sleep, and the 3rd to stop his heart. I held him as he took his last breath. He was my best buddy. I still can't believe it. Even though I adopted a rescue cat a couple years ago. I still miss him every day.

The temps outside are falling drastically. I had put boxes with straw bedding out for the homeless cats in the neighborhood along with some food and water. About 10 oclock tonight I walked out on porch to find a kitty eating but very wet. I brought him inside because temps dropping to single digits tonight but he was scared at being in house. My parents were more of dog persons and I never got to have a cat it's kinda sad my mom doesn't like cats and my dad is more of a dog person needless to say they never actually had a cat in their lives but even thought my parents don't like cats a lot I still like them I like all kinds of animals I don't mind if it's a dog, cat, hamster or a fish it is still a living being that needs love and a caring person who takes care of them I actually could use the word owner but it feels like referring to animals as objects which they're not, you can leave an object behind but you can't leave a living being that has a soul and feelings. Please people if you have to leave your cat, dog or whatever behind for an example if you're moving somewhere far away and you can't take your pet with you please make sure they'll be okay and they'll be taken care of please give them to someone you trust they might feel sad at first because they won't be able to see you most likely won't be able to see you for a very long time but if they have a new loving family they might continue living happily no worries they would not forget you your pet your good friend deserves to be around loving people. And it deserves to be happy.

I’m playing this for my Reggie. Something happened in the night where there was a loud boom then the power went out. We found him in the am hiding under the recliner. He let out a meow that I have never heard before. I must say it absolutely broke my heart. He is under the blankets at my feet as I play this for him. Please, wish us luck. My son and I have had him for nearly a year now since he was a kitten. I did not know how much I actually loved him until this day.

I didn't say I played this for her when it was released. but i did play it for her since she was born and then at age of 7 months she had to go.. and I commented after 2 days from her death ) I didn't write all the details before because it was and still hard to talk about but thank you all for your sweet words 💕.

My cat that I held minutes after being born I had for 18 years. I held her the whole day that she was dying. Petted her and told I loved her and she was the best cat ever. She died peacefully on my lap that day. Sad but glad I was able to hold her while she was here. My son got me a new kitten 2 weeks later and the opposite of her. She won’t let me leave the room without her. Very spoiled and loved. Had to have her in a kennel for 14 days while I was out of state. If she sees me put on shoes she gets clingy and meows s lot. She doesn’t like it when I go out for a few hours. She is my little black beauty. Keeps me on my toes.

I played this for my cat for the last 24 hours of his life. He was weak and struggling but this music at least seemed to help him relax. He hung on long enough to get an in home euthanasia service to put him down in his favorite chair so he was able to pass peacefully surrounded by the two humans he felt safest around. He brought me so much joy and im sad that hes not around anymore but i want to say thank you to this channel for making and/or curating this music and putting it out there because i really do think it made a difference for him.

My cat is 14 and is coming to the end that nobody wants he is currently wrapped around my arm being the loudest baby ever purring away. Anybody who hates cats has never had one and I can admit he is my best friend. He waits outside my door in the morning till i open it. He sits on my lap at the dinner talbe when he isnt meant to. He sits on my desk when i am gaming and is always protecting me. I love him so much and i cant live without him. He is a goofy ginger and white cat who was abandoned as a baby and my family adopted him. He has been with me and my parents have always looked after him even before i was born. He lays out with his arms poked out meaning he trusts me and I love that. He naps back to back with me because i know he trusts me. He is the best thing thats ever happend to me. I do hope that he can stay with me a few years later. I dont leave the house without saying goodbye because i dont want him to think i am leaving him. He is the cutest thing ever and lets me sleep with my head on him as if he is a pillow. I would never do anything if it means that he wouldnt be with me. This ssound i play it every day to him. I suffer with bad mental health because of trama and he is what makes me wake up in the morning. Dog people are laughing at me currently but cats are for life and not just as a kitten to be vute. Played this the other night for my very sick kitty when he was home with me for his last night. He was so tired and weak, but couldn't quite seem to settle. When I played this and gently stroked his head, he tucked himself in and actually got some peaceful sleep. I will remember that we spent time together listening to it... He passed the next morning quietly and peacefully with some help from his Vet, and me right beside him the whole time.

Same. Unfortunately, I lost him last April. It all happened within a week and I wasn't prepared. I dont think I would of ever been prepared but there wasn't much of a warning and I got to a vet within a day of noticing his odd behavior. He was my soul mate kitty and I miss him dearly everyday. Things like laying in bed are now harsh reminders ill never hold him again. I had him cremated and for the first month I'd just hold him and walk around with him. My other cats would go up to his urn and smell it and I know they knew. I kiss him good morning and good night every single day. The ppl around me dont understand me grieving like this or this long like im supposed to be ok now. I pray for you and your kitty and hope you'll have another 10 years together❤

A stray cat I knew for 3 years died 3 days ago on the Fourth of July when he got run over . He was the sweetest cat I ever knew . I wish we could’ve taken him in but my dad and sister are allergic . My advice for you is to never take your stray cat for granted and always cherish them , and please ask your parents if you can adopt them. I wish I could have but I couldn’t because of my dad and sister . Being a stray cat is dangerous. Also if you have a backyard I would recommend trying to get them to come to it . It’s much safer back there and much more peaceful for the cat.

Our kitten was in the car with us for the first time going to her vet appointment. She was crying and freaking out so much!! Honestly, in a way, it feels like they'll live on forever in one way or another. I once heard that, to our pets, we're like these eternal beings who existed before them and will exist after, and they get the joy of spending their whole lives with us. My cat died last year. It was the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever experienced. I found him by the road one day all alone, abandoned. He was only one month old-maybe less. From the moment I saw him I knew that he was the one. I remember I could see in his eyes how scared he was. All I wanted to do was protect him and love him. So I took him home and I promised him that he will never be alone again. He lived 2 happy years with me before someone decided to take him away from me. The last time I saw him we were sitting together at the balcony. It was a quiet summer afternoon and he was sitting on my lap while we were listening to music. Then I got ready to go to a friend’s house and he went out for his one-in a -million-times per day walk outside. He wasn’t a cat that could live all day in the house, he wanted to be free to come and go whenever he wanted. Who would I be to take that away from him. Oh I wish I knew. I returned at home late at night and he wasn’t there so I left the window open for him as I always did. Except that this time, he never came back. The next day when I woke up and he wasn’t in the bed sleeping next to me as usual, I knew that something wasn’t right. It wasn’t the first time that he stayed out all night but I had this feeling...This burden in my chest. I asked my mom if she had seen him but she told me not to worry and that he would probably be after some female cat again. I wish he had been. But he wasn’t. Later that day I found out that during the night someone hit him with a car and left him there helpless. Hurting and bleeding. He was dying all alone on the cold roar while I was peacefully sleeping. Then the garbage man that came over to empty the bins in the morning, took him and threw him in to the dump. My sweet boy what did he do to deserve this. My eyes are so full of tears even now that I can’t even write. The thought that he was in some dust and i couldn’t even gave him the funeral that he deserved was killing me. I didn’t even get the chance to say goodbye to him, to say that I loved him so so so much and I will always do, that he was the most beautiful thing that had ever happened to me and sorry that I failed to protect him. I failed him. I don’t think I will never get over this even though I got two more cats to fill his void. I loved them so much don’t get me wrong, but they just ain’t him. Oh god I just really miss him. I wish I could hug him one last time and let him know how sorry I am and how much I love him. Please please please let your animals know that you love them. Remind them every day. Even though the may not understand words they can feel it. You never know what the future is holding you. And please drive carefully.

Ιωάννα κατα λάθος είδα το σχόλιο σου. Συμπάσχω με σένα και κατά περίεργο τρόπο έχασα και εγώ τον δικό μου πριν ένα μήνα σχεδόν λίγο πολύ. Δεν έχω αγαπήσει ούτε ανθρωπο τόσο πολύ. Σε καταλαβαίνω γιατί από τότε που χάθηκε έχω πέσει και εγώ πάρα πολύ. Εγώ δυστυχώς δε τον βρήκα και απλά ελπίζω να είναι καλά .. και ας μη γυρίσει.. μόνο να είναι καλά. Αδέσποτος και ο δικός μου , δεν ήθελα ποτέ να τον περιορίζω. Πηγαινοερχόταν όποτε γούσταρε αν και του άρεσε πιο πολύ από μόνος του να την αράζει στην αγκαλιά μου σπίτι. Λυπάμαι πολύ για την απώλεια σου

Omg I’m so sorry for your loss, in crying reading this comment imagining my kitten going away from he, he is 9 weeks old and still has a lot of life but who knows. I can imagine your pain I’m so so sorry
Here i am crying because my cat have uti problem and i don't wanna loose him he is my everything literally my hands are shaking guys pray for him i will die without my "Kitty"
