I have this pin. It's a great first pin because it's fun, just deep enough, and had for a reasonable price compared with other, more popular Williams games of the era.
I'm a big fan of these tutorials. They've significantly improved my play and my scores. One suggestion, though; include a link to your Patreon site so that people like me know how to support these videos. I'd hate for them to go away.
Back in the day, our local arcades (owned by the same company) would gently break all their machines making it impossible to get free games, multiballs, etc. Most times, when the game kicked out a ball, it would head straight down the middle. They hated a few of us at the arcades because we were there a lot. I was once watching a friend play and he shook the game enough to make it tilt and I got banned from the arcade for a year. The guy playing was banned for a day.
bought this game in Denver 1992. I had two sons, the youngest 5, knelt on a stool to beat me. ( like a drum) He sold the machine when he graduated with a MBA from CU. His record still on the top by a bunch.
Wooo! Love RG, that's my jam! Played two games on my baby this weekend and put up a 78M and a 90M (lotsa EB's)!! Bowen, love the enthusiasm and agree with the soundtrack being the best!
All Williams letters seem to be lit. Strange. On mine you can get a Williams bonus by lighting all 8 letters. It starts at 5 million and counts down until you hit the pit.
From my experiences playing Rollergames, I have only known Sudden Death to occur on the last scheduled ball in play (Ball 3). And Sudden Death only occurred on Ball 3 in the game in the video. Maybe someone has seen it occur before the last ball in play, but I haven't.
Good playing man, the theme of that game is pretty odd and I don't think it became a very popular pin because of that but damn does it looks fun though.
I have completing skate and war unintentionally by starting multiball during sudden death. The balls bounced around initially while trying to get them under control and collected them. Otherwise you are right, no point in collecting it.
everybody knows rollergames? hell no.. this is soooooo american..a fake compitition, with everbody flying over the rail even with liltle pushes. a referee for who knows what. high wall that decreases speed. but everybody uses it for "speed" fake teams, fake anger, fake fights, omfg no i watched it because of this pinball machine. we dont have this in europe
*Bowen was in a special kinda mood for this tute..had me cracking up lol*

Bowen is such a nerd... but he's the best!

Carlene Carter's Every Little Thing from Road Show is one of the best multi-ball music.
Agreed, I would've listed it if no one else had.

I'm going to have to nominate Torpedo Alley for best Jackpot music.. and overall presentation! It's just so over the top and awesome.
No one has ever had more fun on a game of Rollergames.

Sounds like you maxed default eb's with those scores..
In many places that had 2 tables, they had Rollergames next to Black Knight 2000. At least near Pittsburg Pa lol.

Nice tutorial by Bowen
Superb!
best pin in town
Kerin Bowens..... ( Kick Butt is a great multiball tune), but my favourite multball tune is the Melody after the Demoman Super jackpot)!!!
Cool vid!
you'r the best
Great game ;D

My friend owns a Rollergames, where sudden death occurred during ball 1, and 3...
There are many different internal settings that vary how and when these features appear.

Haven’t seen to many tables with the advertisers. Most of them are the team logos.

Completing=completed
I was at my local laundromat and scored 6mil, was just shy from the high score at 8mil.
First 5 Wallis during sudden death are 1million, the 6th completes sudden death and is worth 2M. So Total of sudden death is 7M.
Bowen, the best after jackpot music is obviously Twilight Zone.
Terminator 2
joystickjedi banzai run, whirlwind, and road show (just kidding on the last one!)
Most licensed system 11 game lol
2:33 Indy 500.
Rollergames? I never would've expected this game. Your patrons have some peculiar requests...
Listen carefully to the opening :)
lol, never heard of it. Was never shown in the UK
How have you NOT heard of this classic 28 season+ show?
We only had 4 channels back then, I don't think people would be happy if the BBC spent the money from the TV license fee on this show.
This game is more fun than many people think!! I like it more than the overrated BK2K ( which i also like
!!
Funny how you say "you don't need the magnet"; yet you miss most of the ramp shots when you play without the magnet ;)...
So one buy me has for 800 I may jump on it.
Man you're cheating but bumping the game! That's not allowed!!!"!

Not sure why some people say the show came out in 1990....the pinball was released in 1990 but the show was aired in 1989
