Does any one know what happened to CPM805B? Fond memories from 1968-1974 (ish) Bought in Wrecsam, sold on to a friend in Chirk and eventually ending up with his brother down London way (Uckfield?) I Lost track of its whereabouts after that and seeing these beautiful motors has brought it all back to me. Happy days 😂
I'd be glad to own any one of them. One of the coolest cars ever. Imo.. That green stripe just indicates something so special.. Why did we give it all away? Stupid twats that we are.
I wonder what proportion of the worlds population of Lotus Cortinas were there that day? Out of those, how many were the unicorn cars with substantially original shells and components? The poor things did suffer, as did all cars of the era, from rust.

my 1st cortina was a sandy gold GT 1965 = loved loved loved that car - later 1600 rs escort 1970 model = super fast v8 killer !

I still think the Mk II is better looking, sorry chaps. Thankfully most have their original steel wheels.
