10 years ago I found out about Zyzz. That was during the darkest days of my life. I can't believe I survived my depression and that I am still here. This song gives me goosebumps.
So many have lost their way . They've given up on the dreams they had when they were younger. They've become complacent and comfortable. When I was younger I had a vision to reach my maximum potential and become the best version of myself I could be. At some point I gave up on trying to improve. Felt like everything was pointless. At my lowest point I made a promise to myself to work on myself everyday and give it my all, even if I don't feel like it. Don't feel like going to the gym cus I'm feeling depressed or weak? Too bad I don't have a f*cking choice. That's discipline, and I kenw that was exactly what I needed to regain my lost self esteem. Now I'm finally rediscovering that dream I used to have as a kid, and this time I will stop at nothing to achieve it and push even further than what I thought was possible. Struggle only makes you stronger. Sometimes reaching your lowest is the best thing that could happen to your life. It makes you appreciate the highs so much more. The more I live the more I realize the cyclical nature of life. Depression may hit again; friends and family may pass away or I might lose everything. Sure I will allow myself to grieve, but I will absolutely not give up on my dream or move off course from my journey.
