Thank you for sharing, the idea with the Mitre saw is a really good one and the glue spreader is inspired, I use old loyalty cards etc as spreaders, and NEVER thought of pinking shears so am now kicking myself for making my life harder.
Another trick for measuring into a corner is to measure out a fixed distance, then measure from the other side to the mark and add the two numbers, I picked this up from Bourbon Moth so can't claim it as my own.
