He needs to spend the next season bulking up and working on his shot. He will have a spot on the team in the 25-26 season, especially with the cap situation.
His shot has been coming together. His confidence in the 3 is growing which is huge. His length, and athleticism and grit for defense makes him a massive asset next season if he can hit 3s from the corner
@@dangerdoom2276my bet is we keep luke. we let oshae, svi, X walk if they ask for too much money. if those players walk, then walsh gets another step into the bench. He'll get a solid shot from jumping from being the 14th man to 10th man which is the typical slot held by X/oshae.
@TheRobversion1 that's absolutely what I'd like to see! I'm confident he can make an immediate impact defensively. He and Jrue can kill the passing lanes and I know he and White will get chasedown blocks.
@@dangerdoom2276 so i guess not an X, brissy or svi fan eh? haha. yeah imo the on-ball defense is there. its the fundamentals (not boxing out on boards, forgetting where hes supposed to be on defense when hes off-ball...otherwise known as JB problem earlier in his career), bulking up and getting the reps in from 3. Personally i dont mind seeing brissy and svi walk but i'd like to give X another shot money permitting. Hes been injured alot. I also wouldnt like to see walsh play alot with the starters next year. Thats just going to kill his confidence. i'd rather hes with the 2nd unit in PP, sam, al (if he isnt retired), luke and jaden (if al retires). I'd like him to develop chemistry with Pp same way Sam did.

Just gotta work on that shot and he can be a solid rotational player. His defense is there the refs just hate him and give him a horrible whistle in the nba
