I always loved loki in the first game but it kinda is even stronger in retold, as myth units became just so powerful

I still feel the Nidhogg and the SOO need a boost. I mean compared to lightning storm and the greek heroes that you can retrain for ten favor, WTF. These units should be mini titans.
i think son of osiris needs faster animation otherwise useless. as for nidhogg idk flying unit kinda strong

The plural of Einheri is Einherjar (pronounced N-her-yar).
Centaur is "Sen-tore" (like; "I tore a foot ligament"). And while on it, Minotaur is "Mine-o-tore".
Toxotes are "Tox-o-tes". Slight emphasis on the second o.
Hippeus are pronounced "Hip-a-oos" with a soft a. It simply means "cavalry". You got better at it after the first goes :)
You do raise a good point on the names. Greek, Egyptian and Norse are a real mix of difficult pronunciations that are not intuitive when Romanised into English. And we have Chinese coming later, who are just as bad.
Dont focus too much on words that are not english at all.

I believe in original AOM, the victim could see the little eye icon on the targeted unit.
But in retold, they have made it more secret so you can't just delete your own unit to remove the spy or anything like that.

As the ultimate god power, Nidhogg felt really weak compares to other ultimates, it dies super fast in battle and can't heal, deals little damage, I would never chosen Nidhogg over Ragnarok
Retold Nidhogg has been significantly buffed in pretty much everything : damage, health and a proper ability to boot.
Still feels a bit weak compared to Fimbul winter and Ragnarok, but at least it's usable now

It gets countered easily by mass range units, Zeus’s lightning storm will strike constantly until it dies and it doesn’t survive Son of Osiris, that’s very unfair for an ultimate, I hope they give more buff to Nidhogg, it’s still my favorite unit
I was thinking this too. Ragnarok or the New Fimbulwinter would have won the entire match. Shame we couldn't see more of Nidhogg before the match ended.
Single unit powers like Nidhogg and Son of Osiris look seriously underpowered at present.
Einherjars effect should last a bit longer I think. It is barely a second, at least make it 2...

This game is disappointing in so many ways. They clearly just remade the game without fixing any of the issues with the original. Look at the way the gates open, it's the most simple possible way to implement that, but it looks terrible. It's like a star-trek style gate.
Honestly I have lowered my expectations for these games so much, and I stopped wishing that they didn't all take place on a tiny zoomed in 2D plane (as opposed to a beautiful fully navigable island like in Black and White), but they are not even trying to make them good.
The retold version does not capture the magic and the feel of the original. The graphics make everything look like plastic.
