Just heard your reaction and analysis on Faouzia's "Tears of Gold" ! I want to say I just started listening to her a week ago and have heard many many reactions and analysis of her vocal ability ! I didn't realize till a week ago what I have been missing and I'm a Canadian! Wow go figure someone in my own backyard and I didn't know this beautiful singer existed ! Personally your are the best vocal coach analyst I have ever seen on this singer ! Your expertise breakdown and vocal knowledge of her singing was so very good and spot on ! I could feel you really enjoyed this singers vocal talent ! I think she is destined to become a top singer and her beautiful timbre and stylish dynamic singing is fantastic ! Her Moroccan background adds to her vocal nuances and inflections ! So good and the fact that she writes her own music is phenomenal ! She just completed a 3 month competition - Singer 2024 in China. It's the competition that Jessie J won in 2018 and that introduced Dimash to the world in 2017. Faouzia has 12 live performances from that competition. In that competition, she performed Crazy (Gnarls Barkley), Set Fire to the Rain (Adele), Desert Rose (Sting), Paparazzi (Gaga), I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Whitney), Cry Me a River (JT), Devil From Heaven (GEM, part Mandarin), Love on the Brain (Rihanna), Grenade (Bruno Mars), Reflection (Coco Lee version part Mandarin), Shallow (duet), RIP Love (Faouzia original). Her recent live performance of Fur Elise is also very good. And she has a duet with John Legend - Minefields. She is Moroccan born Canadian (moved to Canada as a baby), song writer (this is her own song) and multi instrumentalist. Cheers!

You need to react to minefields or born without a heart because she goes even higher than she did in this song
“Elon” or “100 Bandaids” seem higher. But I prefer the two you mention.
@@itzel1735 yes she does go higher but I was talking about just in her chest voice/ mix. Sorry I should’ve specified. She does go higher but only in her head voice

Ohh, I love Faouzia! Her songs Elon and Bad Dreams are probably my favorites! :) but tears of gold might be her most famous one.
Could you maybe check out one of my favorite singers as well? She's Sohyang a 43yo ,female, korean gospel singer. Her mix is insane and her technique is incredible, she's praised by singers like Michael Bolton, Josh Groban (and many more). She performed her legendary stage "Arirang" (a rearranged (by her) traditional korean song) last weekend again after some years. She performed it in 2015 on a show which got legendary status there but she still nails it. I'd love to hear your point of view. ♥ She doesn't have a deep voice but maybe you'll like her anyway :)
