      It was the best era, not only for cartoons, but also movies, music, everything, that weird transition period between millenia, the nineties not wanting to leave and the 2000s not finding their identity yet... it was simply magical

    My favorite Hanna Barbera cartoons were Scooby-Doo, Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel, Dexter's Lab, and Powerpuff Girls. Back when those shows were on Netflix.

    Fucking legendary. This is the sound of my childhood. For some reason, my heart is choked up watching it. Something endearing about it. I now understand how corporations are so easily able to psychologically manipulate people. You get them as children with something like this😆

    It's 2005. You're laying on your stomach in front of the TV watching Scooby Doo before bed. Grandpa just started a fire and grandma brings you an ice cream cup, the kind with the wooden spoon. That pretty noise the star makes after Scooby Doo plays and you smile. Life is good.

    So the one at 1:48 is from Dexter's Lab: Ego Trip. I think that's the only time they used the swirling star for Dexter. I don't think they used it for anything else.
