Spring in Fukuoka, Japan 🇯🇵 Cherry Blossom Festival, Cafe Hopping, Things to Do, Kyushu Vlog 2024

It's #springinjapan which means it's Cherry Blossom season 桜の花 (or hanami 花見)!
For the first part of our 2 week trip around Kyushu, we explore #fukuokacity 福岡市. From the bustling and vibrant energy of Hakata Station 博多駅 to the scenic and serene Ohori Park 大濠公園, there are so many unique local attractions and places to visit in this Western Japanese city.
What to do during spring in Japan? We start with a curry truck and bento breakfast by the park, discover the best of Kyushu via a sake festival right, stumble upon a unique cherry blossom night at Maizuru Park 舞鶴公園 , and of course, enjoy all the tamago sandos, udons and Japanese cafes along the way.

Moving around in Fukuoka with Hayakaken is literally like a local!! My favorite izakaya place in Hakata is “Gyoza no Las Vegas (餃子のラスベガス)”. Pls give it a try for your next visit 🥟🩶

Just got back from a Kansai-Kanto spring vacation and followed your Yanaka Ginza itinerary before heading to Narita via Sky Liner, and I must say it's super worth it! Got some neko stamp souvenir and tried different food stalls, and although the lockers at the Nippori station were filled, the nearby APA hotel allows baggage check-in service which only costs Y800. Also the sakura scene in Nippori is also an experience on its own. Would definitely visit Fukuoka after a winter break in Hokkaido next year. Thanks for all the tips on where to go! :)

Stayed in the same hotel as well and loved the open area near the reception. Watched your Fukuoka and Hiroshima vlogs and made me miss both areas since I went there last February. Tourists should also visit these areas because it’s such a gem! 🩷

Fujfilm XT4 or 5 is great, just make it's a prime lens. The x100v or vi are also good but always sold out 😊

Not sure if IC cards are available now as there was a shortage recently. But you can try to find them in less popular train stations.

i read that in their culture, buffalo are a food source but aren't killed just for their horns. they make the jewelry as a way of repurposing each part of the buffalo so that it doesn't go to waste.
