Nunez is the biggest reason for this !!
Nunez missed 85% of his open opportunities .
If Nunez scored in each of his chances , he would have 57 goals in all competitions.
Christiano Ronaldo in his prime in Nunez position would’ve scored 81 times given CR7 scores even the impossible ones.

Partly Klopp, last throw of the dice and he leaves on Salah who was anonymous and Nunez, some league one players have better ball control and shooting ability then him and brings on Kostas and Gomez, surely that doesn't make sense to anyone. Throw on Danns and Gravenberch surely better options, very strange.

That's exactly what I said, too. Why not Dan's and Gravenberg or even Clark? These are the boys that are ready to deliver, and they've proven to be reliable in a situation like this in the past. Since he stopped using those boys, we've not been the same again. Jota, too, should be sold because he's always unavailable when he's most needed.

Klopp made the substitutions. He took off Jones, who was having a good game and left on Salah, who hasn't had a good game since 2023. Salah has always missed chances but he used to make up for it with everything else he did. The last few games he has been a passenger. He brought on Endo, who is in a terrible spell of form. Then he took off our most dangerous player on the night, Robertson. For what? To make TAA feel better about getting subbed? We didn't lose the league at Goodison Park, we lost it when United knocked us out of the FA Cup. Since then we have been awful, Klopp chopping and changing for every game.

It’s odd everyone complaining about Klopp forget all of the endless chances we miss game after game after game!
Nunez open goal miss at Luton cost us 2 points.
4 sitters missed against palace cost us 3 points.
The 4 or 5 chances missed in Man Utd away game cost us 2 points. Same thing in the FA Cup game.
The 3 big chances missed by Diaz in the Man City game cost us 2 points.
The Trent off the crossbar against Arsenal cost us 2 points.
The 30 shots on goal at home to Man Utd cost us 2 points.
If we could finish we’d be so far ahead the league would have been over by now.

Though I don't know any decent strikers for 60 million, but that's a different argument.

We were top when playing the kids. Diaz' father does nothing but tout his son to La liga - sell him, Nunez needs 10 chances to score 1- sell him, Salah is starting to look his age- sell him to the Saudi league .
We need a CB (Hanko), another attacking midfielder (Koopmeiners) and Osimhen and we'd be challenging next season. The end of this season has been a disaster, but lets be honest, no one thought we'd be 3 points off the top with 4 games to go after being 5th last season.

I can agree with a lot of what you are saying Simon but not on Mo. He is an incredible professional who is having a bad run, its a slip in form and it happens to everyone, I will never questioned Mo's commitment, whether or not he leaves. He is not an individual who lets his standards slip. Nunez can be a clumsy footballer, go look at the number of times where a little precision was needed by him last night, Mo picks up the good spaces. Gakpo would have started last night if he was fit, he's brought a bit of precision to the team up front. You have Trent moving into midfield overloading that space and with Everton's structure it is tough to have that singular outlet off the right wing. Szoboszlai is showing his age in the second half of this season, he seemed to dive about the place and just hasn't been as dangerous as when he arrived. There is a serious player there, a break and reset is needed and he'll be back next season. It's funny how quickly you forget, Salah has been the benchmark in this league since his arrival a bit more respect needed there.

Salah/Nunez/Diaz is not a clinical front three. Salah has posted incredible numbers for us but he has always been capable of missing far more than he puts away. Nunez, as much as I love him can be a calamity in front of goal. With coaching and time I think he’ll be fine. Diaz is a runner, a harrier and a creator not a scorer. Jota is the finisher but he doesn’t offer as much to the team as the others do. It’s probably time we replaced Salah and get as much as we can while he has value. It may also be time to move Diaz on as well but I’d personally give him another year.

Im also a little disappointed in klopp i think wed have got something last nite if hed have put a couple of young players on at half time or say 55 60 minutes instead of leaving players on that are obviously already looking at the exit door. These youngsters helped us massively a few weeks ago when we had a good few injuries and klopp was singing about how good they are but now he doesn't seem to want to give them a chance to change a game. Klopps whole attitude has changed over the last few weeks imo hes gone from a bottle of champagne that's been shaken for a week and popped open to a bottle that's been opened and left on the side for a month.
