Ash Ketchum is my number-one Protagonist because he is a Pokemon champion, while Liko on the other hand has a zero experience in Pokemon battling, she doesn't stand a chance to defeat Ash the Pokemon master.

I think Liko would be a good fit for gardevoir because gardevoir is beautiful and strong, gardevoir's fairy type and psychic type speaks to her personality and quaquaval is also a good fit, she can also have water-type pokemon or palafin or like ninfia
