Original ceramic decorations on pagodas at Wat Arun were recycled from waste chinaware fragments exquisitely chipped into shapes centuries ago.
Sadly they are falling off after years and years in the sun and rain and are being replaced by factory made pieces, obviously because people nowadays are not as patient as the ancients.

It's all about what time of the year you're planning to go, and how far in advance you're booking. I believe I paid like $1100 flying out of LAX. Don't trip, you can travel on a budget 🫡

hii what is your recommended length of stay in each temple if i were to visit all 5 temples in one day

in my honest opinion, visiting all 5 would be a rush in the same day, better to choose a max of 3 temples and take your time in exploring many great details that you would high likely miss if in a hurry.
but if you were to do all 5 in one day, 60- 90 mins max on smaller temples and then use more time in larger temples such as Wat Pho and Wat Arun (including the ordination hall next to Wat Arun that a lot of people seem to miss).

ohh that’s actually quite true though. I plan to visit damnoen sadauk floating market early morning and visit 2 temples on the same day. and these 2 temples I have chosen would be wat pho and wat Phra Kaew. in your opinion how much time of a stay in wat pho and wat Phra kaew would be good?
will 2 hours each be enuf? or will u recommend more?

@marcuslin1441 I visited Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Pho and those two temples took up one day. That is at a relaxed pace. Doing these five temples all in one day would not be enjoyable. You would be rushing like crazy. Take more days and take your time. Please also learn proper etiquette at temples also. They are sacred places worthy of great respect.
