I googled to search buying a replacement keypad because we had to press combination keys hard and it didn't work most of the time. Then searched for a how to video. Yours popped up, and was so clear and explanatory. What a great tip to change to unused numbers! It took 5 minutes to reset and bingo...works like new. Thank you! Liked and subscribed😊

Sir, you just saved me a BUNCH of money! 💰 I did everything you said, but what REALLY helped me was you showing me where to locate the screws to remove the keypad since it's not near the garage door, but around the corner right outside my front door. You're a Godsend, sir. For making this video, I say: THANK YOU!!!

Tip: remember to inspect each key especially the enter key. Sometimes the rubber coating gets stuck depressed inwards. The keypad will not longer work if this happens. Gently pry outwards any stuck keys with your fingernail and try again.

Wow, great video! I had no idea that the keypad was not hard wired. My door problems seemed to have started when I programmed a new car to the opener this weekend. Today, I cleaned the light sensors at the bottom of the door and my wife was able to open the door with her remote again. My new car will open the door from the mirror, but the dang keypad for some reason won’t work. I replaced the battery, but no go. My next move is to reset the keypad to the door opener and if that doesn’t work, try to change the code. Thank you so much.
